My HS HC was from Crane, you are now the second Crane person I've ever seen in the wild.

3rd

I'll preface it by saying I lived there for a minute but spent a lot of time there otherwise.

Those are 4s in Austin.

I remember back in my 20s when my dad and his buddies would drool over what I considered to be average talent on campus. After reading the opinions of posters who I assume are considerably younger than I, it appears that I have turned into my father. And I now appreciate the bliss of having lower standards.

this is an interesting phenomenon I have often pondered.  I remember that when I was a teenager certain female characters in movies may not have been attractive to me at the time, but now watching the same movies they appear to me hot as shit.  funny stuff.

Put that fanbase in a straight jacket if Texas gets a 5 star DL from University Lab. That high school is on LSU’s campus.

I'm more surprised by guys that want to go to college where they went to high school.

It goes like this with standards being lowered at each age with the first real drop in mid-20s and perhaps the biggest drop coming around 40-50:

Grades 1-6: only attracted to the best of your age.

Grades 7-8: the best grade 7-8 girls

High School: the best high school girls with occasional looks at the quirky ones who will give you a blowjob

College: ages 18-22 with a little more interest in freaks

Age 23-30: 18-35 quirky/freak ratio is diminishing but standards are also being lowered as you start to squint at sevens

Ages 30-40: 18-45 any female that's a six or up is good to go

Ages 40-50: 18-55 Same as previous age, but a bigger range

Ages 50-60: 18-40 are nice to look at, but only seriously looking at 40-65 (unless rich enough to pull younger)

Ages 60-70: Lots of looking at 18-50, settling for anyone under 65 who is not yet a plus size and seems like they have the patience for Viagra to kick in.

Ages 70-80: Not sure. I'll update this post when I get there, but it seems like it'll be mostly memories by then.

Caveat: for this scale, marriage increases your age by at least 10 years.

Gerry mentioned recently Calicut is being recruited more as a LB than a S. He's big (6'3" on recruiting sites) and growing, and Gerry thinks he could play at or above 230 lbs.

Always love middle-aged insurance adjusters in Conroe thinking teenagers don't like the idea of living in California

Is this in reference to Lamar Brown? I saw the part about “subliminally tweeting about Brown,” but wasn’t certain that was the recruit their hands were ringing over.

I assume 6th Street is asking that to highlight that Texas already has 2 in-state WR commits and neither is a difference maker and highly ranked. If he wasn’t pointing that out, I guess I just did.

I still think things are fine if Texas lands Finley and Lott.

There is a formula for this phenomenon.

idealWomanAge = (yourAge / 2) + 7

This came about on one of my guy-trips a few years back and seems pretty accurate.

If 10, you're looking at 12's

If 18, you're looking at 17's

If 30, you're looking at 22's

I'm 62, so I should be looking at 38's. But I'm married. And afraid of waking up on fire.

Boys born in 2020 should know who Moe Howard is, much less “weird boomers.”

I have actually watched the Three Stooges before, but had no idea it was Moe under the hat. Still a really odd picture with no context.

Mack’s kickers were elite

He was like some kicker whisperer.  Don't think we ever missed a game winning kick in his era.  Some big ones too.  Walk on Bailey against Nebraska in the snow when Lawrence got hurt.  Lawrence against NU in the Big 12 title game.  Tucker against A&M.  Mangum against Michigan.  Probably more I am not remembering.

I don't disagree with your summary.

I liked the phrase my bud always shared with me. "Go ugly early." Save yourself time and money, with a very high hit ratio.

I’m convinced Xavier Griffin has given a silent pledge to Texas. Shortly after he decommited from USC Gerry said Texas got a Hi but he wasn’t ready to officially report it and didn’t consider it firm enough.

Ever since then when asked about the number of Hi’s he’s always given a range. “More than one”. “2-3”. “More than one but less than four”. Etc…

He also said something like Texas is in a good position for him and will feel even better after this weekend.
