Texas Rangers 2023 - They're Still Shitty?

Championships
NFL - Dallas 5 Houston 0
NHL - Dallas 1 Houston LOL
NBA - Dallas 1 (vs LeBron) Houston 2**  (both years MJ was out of the league)
MLB - Texas 0 Houston 1* (one legit)
Houston’s sports accomplishments are very aggy in nature.

Hasn’t been a year yet, maybe wait a bit before calling it legit .

If we can get everyone healthy going into the postseason and potentially add a solid starting arm before the deadline I think Atlanta is the only team that is objectively better than we are.

This is a weird year where a weird team could win. Our bats are phenomenal. Our pen is questionable and our starters have lapses but basically every team has issues.

I don't think it's crazy to believe that we could at least make a run if not steal one this season if shit falls right.

And I'm not commenting this based off of one win against the Stros - this has been my read for weeks now.

We could use a front line sp. We could use bullpen help. I feel like our sp is a house of cards ready to collapse at any moment. Our bullpen we know is a disaster. I don't know what to do.

I've been feeling this way for awhile. Can't quite put my thumb on why.

We took 1 of 3 and really could have won the other two with our best player not playing and a BP game thrown in there. Losing a series against HOU is never good but we did what we needed to.

Let's see if we can take a couple in SD.

This is from May 3, 1981. Fergie Jenkins vs Paul Splittorff.

'81 was a weird year in baseball because the season was broken into two halves by a strike in June/July. Because of the weird format, the Cardinals and Reds had the two best records in the NL but neither one made the playoffs.

Heim to the IL, Bubba back up.  Sborz back, White sent down.

MLBtraderumors says at least 2-3 weeks rest for wrist strain, season ending surgery possible if rest doesn't help.
