Nobody:

OKC fans: look at Chet, see how good he is, and how efficient he is, and they’re just winning, although ignore the help and support he has to usher him though a productive rookie season. He’s so underrated and under appreciated. Please love Chet.

He shouldn't even be eligible. Sucks that he got hurt and missed his rookie year, but he's had a full year in their program. This is the only league that lets second year players count as rookies.

OKC is definitely ahead of schedule.  Should be top 4 in the west and what a fun team to watch.  Crazy how entertaining the NBA has gotten the last few years.

They're thin with their bigs so their rebounding is a problem but outside of that, they 've got 10 guys who can get up and down the court and score.  Isiah Joe?  Good Lord.

The previous iteration of the Thunder was Durant, Westbrook, and a bunch of interchangeable guys who lacked even basic offensive skills.

randy arozarena played 19 games for the st.louis cardinals in 2019, played 23 regular season games for the TB Rays in 2020, set the MLB postseason record for HR, and then won ROY the following season.

Baseball is way different where first picks in the draft go to the minor leagues. Cant even compare these sports.

bro. you are ON ONE this week. maybe you’re always like this and i’ve just never noticed? either way, if someone here told you that the sky is blue you’d argue with them for pages. learn to accept factual information when it’s given to you. christ.

Here's a sentence i bet you've never uttered: i was wrong on that.

See how easy that was? You should try it sometime.

You said the NBA is the only league that lets 2nd year players count as rookies. That is clearly not true. The NBA in fact has more strict rules about games played than MLB or the NHL.

The NFL has the toughest standards. The rookie clock starts from signing.

Yeah i was thinking of the NFL. But i just think having a year with an NBA team and practicing with them would be advantageous, is all.

it was a good night for those Detroit fans who came out to see the refs make a great play and eject Joker in the 1st quarter.  You can't let the fans see him play on his one visit to the motor city.
Fucking Draymond can follow refs around, screaming at them and doesn't get his second tech. The 2x MVP isn't allowed to say anything when he's being mugged. It's like Hack a Shaq out there with Jok, except he doesn't get to shoot free throws. They just knock the hell out of him.

I knew something was up with Denver struggling, didn’t know joker was ejected until later haha

this is one of my favorites:

NBA refs are the epitome of bitchassness.    And that wouldnt even be THAT bad if it wasnt so crazy inconsistent.   Someone like JJ who barely argued with refs getting booted for that compared to Draymond cussing them out constantly and guys like Luka bitching about every single fuck call/no call almost never getting techs and rarely getting tossed makes it fucking unbearable

Probably not the smartest thing to say with the extender out there lurking around

Despite scoring 86 in the first half, your Atlanta hawks trail heading into the 4th

As fun as the Pacers are offensively this is not all just great offense. 157 points with no OT is the Hawks going full Hawks. Still this is better than a mid 90’s game between the two where 100 would’ve been celebrated as an accomplishment.

Interesting stat.

Booker went 10-10 from the line tonight against the Blazers.

Ayton has 9 FTs (7-9) for the year so far…less than 1 per game.

Remember when some folks said that Ayton contract was right in line with his worth? Hoo boy Ayton is sailing right into a job in Japan once this one expires.

9 times he has shot 0 FTs
4 times he has shot 2
1 time he shot 1

He has played 31+ minutes a game.

That might be the wildest stat line over 14 games ever.

There are some really tall people who just don’t like playing basketball.

It can probably feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders when so many people probably pushed him to play this sport. He clearly plays like someone that takes no joy in being out there.

Saw him person last season when he was still with the Suns.  He's very impressive in person.  Tall, big, athletic, etc.  Checks all of the boxes.  However, he's just not good at basketball and maybe it's because he doesn't care.  Didn't realize how few FT's he shoots.

To compare:

Embid:  35 minutes per game.  11 FTA's per game

Ayton:  31.5 minutes per game.  0.6 FTA's per game.
