By the way, the intrepid aggies on TexAgs are all over the "Trump Cries Wolf over Kamala's Crowd Size" story  and the results are predictably hilarious. Read along and watch as the reality that Trump is a dumbass and they've been had slowly dawns on them ...

Sweet Baby Jesus, that thread is…..  wow…..

Sorry if already mentioned, but shouldn't KW just ride the Olympic wave to victory?  With all that breaking and Snoop/Dre shit, not to mention the beautiful women sprinters, this felt like the most black pride Olympics ever.

It really feels like in the last few years, black artists and athletes have solidified the way media views beauty and strength in this country.

I feel like from a policy standpoint I am a bit more progressive as I age, but in the short run, I want to be with the winners, and the winners feel like they are the mocha ones.

I know most here already know, but just want to make it clear that ELON MUSK is the main culprit for why all this bullshit is spreading like wildfire at a much higher rate than 4 years ago.

Paid blue check marks, fake politician accounts, "citizen journalism",  and his algorithm boosting all of it.

These Trumpers are fucking idiots and practically traitors, but Elon is feeding all of it to them via social media.

I still can’t figure out where the “she’s very dumb” take is coming from. Other than the obvious racial trope- but they are trying to paint her as not black but Indian, so that works against the Indian stereotype.  I guess just pure projection?

It's basically "women are dumb"...which is why they have cratered their support for any woman that's graduated high school.

John Mulaney said, in an interview, that Charles Barkley told him: at the Olympics, everyone loves their country. That seems more true today than when I was a young man, and I am glad I am here for it.

It was a dusty Olympics.

Goes along with the idea that she's not qualified which anyone with half a brain can see is not accurate. She has a lifetime career in politics and govt work as a lawyer. Now it's fair if someone wants to attack her as a lifetime govt worker, but that is also weak given so many of the GOP fit into that category as well.

Harris will be painted as dumb, inexperienced and a whore. Add to the spoken/not-loudly spoken belief that a woman isn't emotionally capable of being President. We all know Trump is well in control of his emotions.

They will also paint her as the biggest leftist this country as ever seen. She was considered moderate if not conservative in CA. Which most likely puts her closer to Bill Clinton's ideology than Joe Biden.

Team turnip going with a $30 million dollar ad buy starting today in Georgia and North Carolina per CNN.

I would suspect those were states they didn’t want to have to defend.

Spending money on tv while not campaigning seems dumb

This has been my map for a while. Either a total repeat of 2020 or 2020 + NC

Wow.  So apparently the Democrats now have the Fascists AND the Communists supporting them this election cycle?  That's what I call a big tent!

I've never really thought about how many electoral votes Texas has given that we are hopelessly disengaged and systemically programmed as a party to believe voting D at a state-wide level is hopeless here, but damn we have 40 EVs!  Those fuckers will never win the presidency ever again if we flip.

While I wished it wouldn't occur, Trump will have zero Presidential immunity when he incites violence after losing this year. And any DA or US Attorney shouldn't take 2-3 years to arrest his ass. It should be the same day. When he calls or hints at the need of a violent overthrow of the US Govt, arrest him that afternoon. You can take time to present your case but there is zero reason to delay especially since he's an elderly man.

He’s not stupid. He’s going to announce he’s a 2028 candidate 5 seconds after Kamala is inaugurated.

Florida may be a wildcard this go round....that would be insane.

3.36% separated Trump and Biden last go round....

Abortion and weed. Abortion and weed. Abortion and weed.

If those ballot initiatives in Florida finish anywhere near the 60% required to pass, that's a huge problem for what's left of the GOP elsewhere on the ballot.

Lol at Trump losing Georgia & PA. You knew trump was in trouble in 2020 because he truly barely won several Great Lake states in 2016. Regression to the mean. The same logic applies for the dems this time.

I think it's the opposite, actually. Half the country either didn't watch or actively cheered against the US for one or more of several dumbass cloak room reasons, including fake outrage over the opening ceremony, the exclusion of their beloved Russia, because Simone Biles has expressed political opinions in the past, and that some of the Black athletes expressed confidence which makes them "thugs" (while all us know what they really mean), including both men's and women's basketball teams (especially with Brittney Griner on the team). I saw a headline this morning that US women won more medals than US men, I can assure you the comments on that topic will be pure 'murica.

Can we get an Olympics for Harris call? Lebron, Curry, Biles, Lyles, etc?

It’s a Harris win!!!

I don’t know who will win the election. I know Trump isn’t losing every close state like BO&W thinks.

Trying to find hopeful information that polling is more accurate this year.  Axios points out that the very fact that Trump was leading in so many of the polls up to now might be evidence of that.

I 100% find 2016 polling as an anomaly with how the D candidate was selected and her lack of campaigning in key states. She literally thought she had it won.....

Of course let's ignore the candidates and campaigns in the name of "regression".  Dumb.

The article even says it - a lot of late flips upended the polling. Thanks Comey!

That makes sense. I left out part of Bartley’s quote, though, so my post was unclear. Barkley said (Mulaney) needs to go to the Olympics, that at  the Olympics, everyone loves their country.

Mea culpa.

How so?

2020 had a response issue. Dems stayed home for Covid stay at home orders, republicans did not. Dems didn’t get to do traditionally ground game either because they were following Covid orders.

Here ya go dipshit....I'm not conceding Pennyslvania to Trump a state only won by republicans 1 time in 8 elections or something like that.

So even with NC and Georgia it's a democratic win.

You know... I don't think I would mind if the rest of the country went with how NE and ME handled their EC counts.

I actively rooted against the USWNT in the last World Cup, just because it was obvious they cared more about being activists than about being good at soccer. It seriously felt like the entire country was behind me on that one.

It didn’t feel nearly the same this year. Everyone that cared enough to pay attention was rooting for them. Getting rid of that “old guard” of unlikeable players that weren’t good anyway made a world of difference. I noticed Biles had a ton of widespread support too, as most sensible people realized the “she quit” narrative was nonsense.

Honestly, Helo is a pretty good troll.  Finds the exact two states that would shift this map to the other side, despite them having no correlation historically/demographics/etc.
