time to say goodbye

Edit: I'm going with the claim that they didn't mess with the audio

I'm missing something - is it because the song is Time to Say Goodbye? It was the end of the rally, so it's not the craziest choice.

I mean, he called her a retard. That is my far the most tone deaf projection he’s done. If he calls her an ignorant fascist painted in makeup next, the simulation will just explode

My wife calls people retards sometimes and she definitely should not be president

I still don’t get it.

It's the song -  Time to Say Goodbye.  The name says it all

I would say how I thought everyone knew that song, but then I wouldn't be sure what level of dork hell I just sentenced myself to.

Unbelievable that Dotard's closing message to the electorate is "I will sick the US military on anyone I don't like!". This doesn't even feel real.

Add it to he would be willing to suspend democracy for a day (only for a day), can interfere with elections and could shoot somebody on a busy nyc street and not lose supporters and we arrive at Kamala needs to have an interview on a propaganda channel. We all admit they are a cult and he’s a fascist, let’s not agree to meet on a lawfully established nazi mouthpiece. I’ll even spare us the suspense—it won’t be 120% which is what’s needed from her, not the nazi. If she loses, let’s agree that she ran a good campaign in a rigged system that its populace failed.

The point is that Milley had access to every bit of military intelligence, cia intelligence, international intelligence etc.  I mean one of the main tenets of his job is to know this stuff.  There are likely hundreds of military people at the Pentagon and across the globe whose  job was to know what the state of the Russian military was as well as the Ukrainian military.  It is massive incompetence.  I get university officials making bad predictions or even politicians making bad predictions, but the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has to do better.  One mistake should have had him demoted but 2 spectacular failures is ridiculous.

Damn, this makes me upset that Biden appointed this guy to be in charge, if you’re so outraged about his performance. Checks notes.  Milley was appointed in 2019.

Yeah I know that. He plays that song at his rallies.

The hootenanny was over, he was leaving.  People sometimes say goodbye when they leave.

I think there's a shart in there we're missing but the xitter poster has bat-like hearing and assumes the rest of us can hear it.

Yeah, it's bizarre, but it's Italian popera.  Not sure the point of the outrage.

The outrage should be that he refused to take questions, AT A TOWN HALL, and just bopped around to music.

Considering he has a town hall this week for Univision. And possibly CNN next week if he accepts

I'm sorry, but this is so much horse shit.  I mean, if all you do is rely on those below you for information why do e level execs make 200x those they rely on for information?   For fucks sake!   E levels are like the weatherman... See I told you it might rain!

Dude. Not what I said.  Also, your assumption that a General magically knows that the briefings on subjects that he cannot know - from ostensively our top minds in State and Intel - is bullshit.   Is bullshit. The fact that neither you or I have any  idea what information he received and from whom makes it impossible to say if he was incompetent or mislead.

And it ignores the fact that once a political decision is made the information used to support that decision can be - how  can I say this? - yellow cake-y.

Yeah, it would be an entirely different matter if the bulk of the townhall had been conducted and then he danced to a couple of songs before leaving but what I've read is a total of 4 questions were asked before this weird 30 minute jam session.

For all you tripping over yourselves every two days for Dems to flood national media with whatever bullshit you think is the most important of the day, this is probably the last moment for that to make an impact with early voting, if they do.

I’m sure the reality is him not wanting to talk while EMS/paramedics attend to people, buttfuck it. Not a typo. We’re gonna shitpost ourselves into the presidency.

Picking a nit- I really don’t like the expression “opportunity economy,” which Kamala Harris uses a lot. It sounds like the focus group bullshit Republicans used to grin-fuck middle class people with until Donald Trump came along.

The inability of Democrats at all levels to connect to middle class people’s financial struggles is constantly baffling to me. Hell it almost cost Kirk Watson the Austin mayor’s race.

As someone who only survived and thrived when someone gave me an opportunity to maximize my potential, I completely get it.

People talk about it all the the time. It's a real sentiment.

Too many people get told they don't have the *perfect* resume, experience, family background, accent, timing, haircut, and a bunch of other fake disqualifying attributes that are not truly related to ability to participate in the economy at a level above where they are connected.

Opportunity is the realest thing out there in all of this BS. I don't know how you operationalize it at a Presidential level, but it's generations better than financing a drug epidemic and then throwing people in jail who seized that opportunity.

So, yeah... Say that shit some more.

I took the tweet as being critical of that particular song, not that he did some weird pop-up DJ routine.

I think that's the first clip from a Harris or Walz rally I've seen in two weeks.  I know they're out there campaigning like fuck, but it's all dotard all the time.  Just the way he wants it, even if he does come across as the fat stupid bastard he is.

I don’t think Univision is gonna let him stop after 4 questions and bop his fat ass around like it’s margarita night on an Alaska seniors cruise

The infotainment outlets need this race to be close and entertaining. That means all Donald all the time.
