The rule says that on an initial play at first base, the defense uses the white bag and the runner uses the green bag.  The runner is out if he touches "only the white bag".  It is appealable, but it's not really clear whether it's reviewable or not.  It is not specifically in either the reviewable or non-reviewable sections of the rule.  However, whether or not a runner touches a base is reviewable, so maybe it is.  Looked to me on the replay like he clearly touched at least part of the green bag.

If that’s the actual rule that is fucking dumb as shit

Can we make a call to Sankey and tell him to use his jurisdiction as commissioner to cancel this thing. We got what we needed out of it. Tell OU to have fun on Tuesday in the SEC tournament

Also it’s only fucking Saturday.  Is there a rule about the season being over by tonight?

also also please splain at me why the game wouldn’t resume at the exact point it was suspended?

They should review all calls claiming OU does not suck.

After review, the call has been overturned. OU does indeed suck

I think they want it over tonight because the conference tournament starts on Tuesday.

If it is resumed, it has to be resumed at the exact point it was halted.  If they opt not to resume the game, it goes back to the last completed inning.

So we can go back to the previous inning, give up the 3 runs, and not strikeout looking with the bases loaded?

OU remembers what happened last year when they called it with us ahead.

I don’t doubt Skip was stalling big time that last half inning and won’t be in a rush to resume this one.

Hopefully the SEC office puts a stop to any potential gamesmanship bullshit by the OU coach if they try to pull some shenanigans

It’s not just the rain. It’s whether there is lightning detected within 10 miles in the last 30 minutes.

Yet another example of how soccer ruined America.
