WTF was Herman's problem with Golesh after this game? I mean, other than getting whipped by 23 points.

Not proud to admit I’m not a stranger to that wife shirt grab. She’s super model hot.

Tosh Lupoi to Cal looks nailed on, details are being ironed out.  On3 stating recruits are being told he is the new coach and other insiders stating things are moving extremely rapidly with donors lined up to pay for him

Did you know that he was a fantastic DB...to the extent that everybody but SDSU wanted him to play D.  SDSU said he could play anywhere he wanted.

And he got fucked out of the Heisman.

Yes he did.

Marshal Faulk is a badass, but Charlie Ward goes hard.  I didn’t have a problem with it.  Now voting Heath Schuler ahead of him, that was bush league.

Looks like the Beavers will go with a longtime assistant-level coach to take the HC job. I’ll admit to being completely unfamiliar with him.

What happened to OSU and Wazzou is one of the shittiest pieces of realignment.

Feels more and more that many name schools are going to be facing firing remorse and another carousel ride as so many top and even middling candidates are choosing to stay put. Says a lot, IMO, about changing calculus with NIL and likely a nuanced understanding of how brutal some of these “destination” programs are on coaches.

Rhule, Lea, Drinkwitz, Cig, Elko, Lashlee, Polasek. In past cycles a bunch of these folks are jumping to an Auburn, PSU, Florida.

And of course Lane is the dog that hasn’t barked.

Florida will be the one left scrambling. Lane is debating between LSU and Ole Miss now. I'd love him to stay at Ole Miss just to screw over LSU but the money and talent are too much to turn down.

Jedd Fisch is rumored to be Plan B for UF, right? He's an alumnus

Jeez. They had to rise 54 spots just to get to 67?

They fired Pry in September ans just grabbed Franklin, unsurprising that they were floundering. What is surprising is how fast Franklin grabbed 4* OL from Penn State. Fong predicting more and maybe a T25 class.

Franklin and VT can be a problem for the ACC.

Based on history, Franklin will find a way to screw it up against the ACC's best, whoever that might be YOY.

Franklin is a program builder but can’t win against top flite comp. In the ACC he’ll be battling Miami, SMU and hurting FSU and Clemson. I can see VaTech moving to the top in 1-2 years. I think he was a good hire for them, even if they do lose in the first round of the playoffs every year.

That’s the thing, with Clemson’s implosion who in the ACC is out coaching him? There are no elite teams or coaches in that league. Best coach might really be Lashlee.

I'm really surprised that Clemson has floundered lately, but maybe I shouldn't be. I guess their NIL support isn't what it should be compared to SMU, Miami, GaTech, etc.

And they will love that until they don't.

I sure hope Kiffin tells LSU to fuck off and that this has been one massive troll.

Crazy thing about it is no one would really put it past him. I mean, has Ole Miss said anything about it lately?

This feels like Kiffin ends up staying which is the funniest outcome of all.

It wouldn't really be all that surprising, though.

Ole Miss has given him everything he's asked for, less pressure, BIG fish in a smaller pond, etc.

I hate the coaching carousel. Watching the North Texas game. Their HC is gone and they might be playing for a CFP appearance. Morris will almost certainly take their QB with him after the season.

Tulane could be a similar position by tomorrow.

So now the CFP matters, but only at certain places? This is damaging  the sport.

North Texas and Tulane will always be stepping stones. That didn't change because of the CFP. Morris is staying on through the CFP, just like Sark did during Bama's run when he was named our HC.

Huh? You're saying college football is being damaged because North Texas and Tulane are only partially relevant in the national championship picture. Are you listening to yourself?

North Texas and Tulane haven't mattered AT ALL since Tulane's heyday over 90 years ago. If you think more teams mattering is good for the sport you should be ecstatic about the current state of the sport.

I hope it becomes the norm for guys like Morris to finish the season and postseason with their squads when a conference championship and CFP bid are still play.

I wasn’t aware Morris was staying with his team. Good for him. Hopefully Sumrall does the same thing when he gets a bigger job in the near future.

I don’t like the idea of a CFP team not having a head coach for the biggest game in school history.

Absolutely that would be best for everyone.

Idk how true this is, or if there’s anything to it, but that would be a hell of a pull by LSU, and could possible be a big problem in the SEC

Heck, sounds as if the quarterback might not finish the season.

Hope that isn't true and not Ok State's fault as there are no rules for this type of thing, but I will say that the direction that college football is headed is solely the fault of those who had the authority and opted to do nothing and hide behind the bullshit veneer that college sports aren't professional sports.

Damn right they aren't there are rules in the NFL for these types of things.
