If you go back and read the last few pages of the Urban Meyer thread some of you guys were wildly on-point. Immafax was not impressed with Coach Sark. And some of you were smoking crack. BMD best friends inside scoop said Urban was a lock.

His delivery and persona is pretty off putting.   But he definitely was tied to the admin when Mack was in charge.   He and ketch.  Sometimes you don’t want him to be right but he seems to be more often than not

russini is not the type to run. With shit just because some anonymous source tells her so.  Pretty respected

I think Sarks reaction plus this getting out yesterday means that the titans(since that’s the team singled out) and Sark are have talked and are fairly deep into that talk.

Regarding chip, I want to say every staff hiring under sark has been broken by him or he had put out the name prior. Wasn’t he inside CDC’s suite at some game?

since Macklemore called me Temu Nancy Grace Speaking of TEMU have y’all seen these TEMU jet 🚤 boats? I’m kinda obsessed watching these videos No idea why. 😂

Sark is a TEMU HC/OC combo. The last one to win shit was Jimbo. Why this won’t sink in with some is baffling.

When I die, I want my friends and family to bury me at sea in an armada of these fucking things.

I have nothing against UT--I root for them every time they play football on a Saturday--but, if they're going to lose anyway, I selfishly hope for complete schadenfreude for entertaining purposes only. This is some premium, top notch, pure grade stuff.

Is something actually gonna happen or since it got leaked early, it’s all gonna disappear.

I was reading a wolken article ( I know) and he said the same thing we’ve been saying. He’s failing with unlimited resources. People see it.

From tamu to temu.  Temu coaches to temu jet boats.  This place is amazing.  Also the odds tamu doesn’t have a temu coach and temu does have a jet boat?  What a world.

You think that's crazy, just wait, the TAMU branded jet boat from TEMU with CFP Participant 2025 signage is already in production for the January reveal on the wall.

Tap the breaks. He's been to the last two national semi-finals. That's not failing.

Yet.

The thing that gets me is even the wild rumors are not being met with shut the fuck up thats unpossible retorts by the ones on this board that either claim to know or we think seem to know shit. The silence of retort and the silence of objection is what gets me. Couple that with “things aren’t what they seem” quasi leaks the last few weeks and I’m leaning greater than 50% it’s all or most of it is true.

Yeah I mean even Sark’s postgame PC answer wasn’t a denial. He didn’t say the reports weren’t true. He just said he was upset the news leaked, basically.

That I don't know. That could be the case. But Sark also had the heart issue at Alabama and has a newborn at home and maybe just decided he wanted the job with less stress and time commitment. While everyone is on the same footing in the NFL financially, it's still just coaching ball and less of a time suck than coaching college and he was ready for that. Really don't know.

My brother in Christ, Jerry Gray used to leave the house at 4 am and come home at 11 pm during the NFL season when he was a top notch defensive coordinator.

Well, look at the broader picture. This week two former Longhorn OL came out on $9.95 podcast pointing out specifically the issues in recruiting, evaluating and development of out OL. Further, they both pointed out the harsh reality that the players aren't capable of executing the scheme that Sark is running. Want to know when Sark hasn't run this exact same scheme that all opposing DCs now know how to scheme for??

The OU game and the second half of the MSU game. In both we went to more simplified blocking game, quicker throws to shorter WR routes and moving the pocket more.

Now compare that to the offensive production.

So... we know when Sark runs this simplified offensive pretty much eliminating the 5 step drop and complex blocking scheme and using our mobile QB in alignment with the abilities of the players we succeed. Yet, I'll wager against Vandy with a backup QB we go right back to the complex scheme.

Further, we are now all aware Sark missed Junior Day among the most important recruiting single days. He went to an NFL style no contact spring and summer practice plan which is well known to fail in college. Given this practice style our young QB and OL wasn't anything close to real world speeds and evaluation of their abilities to execute Sark's scheme was simply impossible. That is, was impossible until Ohio State..

Add to it that he canceled the spring game and refuses to alter his scheme and now allegedly he's been absent due to personal issues relating to his spouse having relations with one of his players resulting in pregnancy.

This is the reality of our situation currently.

Oh, did I mention that this lead to perhaps the most famous 5* QB recruit ever from a powerful and famous college and NFL football family be the most pressured QB in college ball and very possibly compromising his NFL future.

That's a LOT of bad man.

I mean coaches aren’t exactly roads scholars.

My worldview shattered when I watched a Jim Harbaugh coaching clinic, and he talked about the correlation between turnover margin and win rate, and he said, "...And I shit you not, when the turnover margin is 0, the win rate is EXACTLY 50% <pause for effect>." I mean, no shit.

Yes, during the season the rigors are the same. It’s the offseason where NFL coaches get a break. Yeah, they still go to the office, but it’s not a grind like having to go on the road and recruit like you do in college.

More frustrated that he can’t run his perfect system. I think his value system is fucked up, he cares more about being the greatest offensive mind than winning.

It’s like if I called my wife a huge bitch, the media reported it, then I went on a rant about how disappointed I was that my huge bitch comment was reported, but I never denied calling her a bitch or apologizing to her for going through this, and I just came off like a petty little bitch because I was angry that my huge bitch comment was leaked and reported by the media.

The problem with internet journalism is that it seems to have removed the penalty for false or inaccurate reporting in favor of fast scoops.

Mainstream news outlets used to spend a lot of their ad revenue on trained, ethical, quality reporters that generated accurate, informative, and well-written news.  Their reputation as an outlet was closely tied to their accuracy.

The internet gave "journalists" a national and highly visible platform from which they could scoop mainstream media and the more sensational the scoop the better.  Along the way, it seems to have extracted most penalties for inaccuracy or even flat-out lies.

And that has extended to mainstream media as well.

Question: is there a guy with a similar resume to Deboer who is in fbs right now? I’m talking Deboer prior to Washington? The only guy I can think of is the Fresno state coach who won a couple titles at NDSU. These types are the types Ohio state tends to hire I feel, will need to do more research but for sure Tressel

Theres two timelines at play here.

1. We lose another game and Sark goes to the NFL before early signing day after a loss. To save the roster we are forced to hire a James Franklin or other non playoff coach of similar ilk.

2. We sneak into the playoffs or CDC gets Sark to wait until playoffs start allowing the better coaches to lose out. Right now Florida is forced to hire somebody before Kiffin can make a decision.

The program is in a much better shape than what Sark inherited, for which I am very grateful, but it's obvious that he is not capable of taking us to the finish line. He is not learning and adapting from past mistakes, which is a red flag. If we are going to make a change, do it while we still have a good team and culture.

Well, look freindo, I'm not big on dispatching advice but I will make a suggestion. Perhaps you might want to mull over a choice not to call your wife a huge bitch, particularly if she or others present when you do so might report it to the media. This is NOT advice, I'm just spitballing here.

what's so fucking frustrating is that he is more than capable.  this isn't a Strong situation where he a total idiot.

all he needs to do is make slight adjustments and we are likely undefeated or at one loss.

I really would like to see him escape this situation without all this dirty laundry getting aired. Id love to see him take his money and have success staying sober. I think the model is broken for him here and I would like to see him attempt success somewhere else.

when and where has this happened with a major helmet school?   is there even a precedent?

first marriages always get a mulligan if they end early, but this ain't that, not with a jabillion bux on the table (without cause.....)
