I bought 106 shares on prediction marker for like .06 because why not we could come back (I think it was 38-28). The win isn’t amazing but it’s a nice $100 bonus too

Lebby really is a stupid game day coach. He's done a damn good job to get some decent talent there, and to get them playing hard, but he made so many bad judgement calls in that game.

I can't believe he kept forcing the inside run against a defensive front no one runs inside against. Especially in short yardage. Especially when the secondary was giving up a ton of easy throws to the flats and middle of field.

We don't have a chance to win if Lebby was a competent game day coach. That's going to be his downfall as a HC

That was a shit throw that worked out.  Let's not get carried away

A shit throw? It was put EXACTLY where only the receiver could get it.

What? No it wasn’t. We saw much worse throws today. Jesus.

Exactly.

I saw a lot of worse throws than that one. It coulda been a foot shorter, but then again, it didn't get intercepted - and it was a TD

Agreed.

replace one QB that sark hasn't coached or gameplanned with, with another QB sark hasn't coached or gameplanned with? How exactly will that help?

He’ll win the game.

It should have been closer to the corner than the sideline.  He barely had the chance to get the foot down.  It was not a great throw

Did a good enough job staying upright on those punt returns.

Okay now put all his offensive snaps there today and you see why. Just because he’s good at returning punts doesn’t mean he’s going to be good at offense. I’m happy as fuck we have him returning punts but he shouldn’t be taking snaps away from Baxter or Wisner at RB

It had a fraction too much air under it, but it wasn't a bad throw for a guy coming off the sideline stone cold.  That's not an easy throw to make.

Like the literal 2 broken tackles he had on that punt return?

He's good in the open field, but he has struggled getting through the line when he's gotten carries.

So someone explain what happened with the defense to all of a sudden just demolish them in the 4th?

I know PK brought extra pass rushers on a higher percentage of plays than he did in the second and third quarters.  He blitzed a couple times really early in the game, but then went away from it for the most part until late in the game.  Not sure why.  It was as though he was calling the same defense that he threw at Pavia last season, i.e., rush lane integrity, drop 7 or 8, keep him contained in the pocket, don't let him beat you with his legs.  And while Shapen can certainly run if needed, he was carving us up on intermediate routes because we could not move him off his spot and gave him a lot of time to throw during the first three quarters or so.  I do not understand what PK's thinking was, but he moved away from what wasn't working and started sending extra rushers at Shapen in the 4th quarter and OT, and it's a good thing he did.

We aren't seeing the same thing.  He looks 100% comfortable out there, processes quickly, makes good decisions, and throws a very catchable ball.  He's the kind of guy who could be an UFA, do well in camp, and make an NFL roster as a backup.

He read the defense pre snap and knew he had 1 on 1 in the corner, and put it where only Mosley could catch it. Has Arch ever done any of those things on the same play?

75% of the time, that throw would have not been caught inbounds.  Sorry, but no.  Let's not pretend it was great

Nah. That wasn’t a shit throw maybe a few inches too far yes thank god for Mosley toe drag. But I have let seen a decent fade completed here in years. That first throw of the game in OT was money

Good guys win!!  Arch did not look good heading out on the field for that last series. Shaking his head like clearing out some cobwebs. Also, thought that hit by that second defender should have been reviewed for possible targeting? Just sayin...

Their defense did what a lot of defenses do and started trying to prevent the big play. That was all Arch needed to get going. Just like last year whenever we go 4 wide a spread the ball out our QBs play so much better. Sark doesn't like it though, so we will be back to 12 personnel and bunch sets next week.

Yep, late game come from behind Ewers was the best offense we saw last year.

Now that you mention it... we've seen about a thousand shit fades in the last three years. That was a fucking Touchdown.
