LSU robbed us of aggy tears. Although it would have been just a taste. Now we will have to see a bunch of aggys all excited on game day here. They need a loss coming in so we can put an end to the SEC CCG for them as a way to fill the aggy tears quota I am owed this year.

They still have never played Georgia. Since joining the SEC. Insane.

Edit: played them once. Still insane.

I would beg to differ.  If Texas finds a way to win (which I think they do) I don’t thinks the aggies can handle it.

No. It’s definitely who. They’re playing with confidence, for sure. Their line is blocking and their QB is running their offense. Their skill players are good. And they’ve beaten no one.

Nobody. Who said we had?

So, they've beaten Notre Dame currently ranked #8 at Jesusville, LSU in the Swamp, Florida the shitty team who beat us, and MSU by way more points than us.

We have beaten OU.

Which resume looks better?

Well, not only have they beaten most teams they faced more convincingly than us, the have, ahem, not lost any either. Nor did they require overtime to beat the a team who hasn't won a game in the SEC in 2 years.

I love to hate on aggie, and hope they take their annual roller-coaster plunge soon.

However, today, it's just delusional to dispute their success this year, particularly against ours. It reminds me of a certain fan base.. I just can't remember which one.

We have a better resume at 10-2 than they have at 11-1 (with us spoiling).

They beat ND sure, but they are overrated this year and aggy needed some cheating to win that game.
LSU won't be ranked after this weekend and aggy again benefitted by a shitload of bad and non calls.  Absent that the game would have at least been close if not an LSU win.
sure aggy beat MSST and Florida but (1) those games were at home; (2) the opposing teams were in a different place

aggy sure as shit didn't have the balls to go on the road to OSU and only come up 1 score short.  They continue to schedule powerhouses like Samford instead.....

Well, since we're talking A&M, can we count only losing to Ohio State by 7 as better than any of their wins? Can we use their standard?

Plus, I don't see how our schedule impacts the magical alignment stars that reduced their schedule to shit. They did beat LSU like a top ten team should.

There is so much wish casting and delusion in this post I'm just gonna nod to you and say you bet.

I will say I love that you've wish casted future game results in your fantasy post. It honestly made me laugh, so thanks.

Well the poster above you just brushed off the ND win due to ref cheating. He blew off the results of the only mutual teams the teams have faced. It appears on field results, performance and scores have now become less important than a perceived delusions that our results have been better than aggies. We are also wish casting future results as facts. What's best is we have now gone full, they haven't and don't play one by pointing out our OSU loss and dismissing their ND win. I'm just waiting for the media bias in favor of aggie talk and accusations that Sanky being called Snakey is giving them a preferential cake walk schedule.

I think I walked in on somebody else's fight. The Ohio State reference was a joke. I do say A&M played like a top ten team.

We may have done so for a quarter yesterday. Right now, they're a better team than we are. Their portal additions turned out to be brilliant. Reed has come around.

Yeah, I hate this super conference shit. You mean to tell me our "best season in decades" aligns with not drawing Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, or Oklahoma? Wow, what a coincidence! Still have to win the games when the scheduling gods shine on you.

This is true. While Notre Dame is so-so and LSU is ass, I'll give them credit for winning road games in those environments and skullfucking LSU.

And this mentality is why this program was in the desert for the 2010’s and will be again when Sark says “I can’t deal with this insanity any longer”.

They don’t have the balls to go on the road to OSU?

You forget that they joined the SEC and were immediately in the same division with the greatest college football coach of all time, while he was in the middle of his run of either making the championship game or playoffs or winning the championship game or playoffs every single year.

Nevermind the other tough games on the schedule just in that division.

And you bash Samford while you probably pulled your pud during the win over Sam Houston, who is maybe the worst team in the nation this year?

News flash:  all SEC teams schedule one P4 game and one or two cupcakes. This ain’t new.  It might be new to you because you are used to KSU and Kansas and Baylor but that ain’t the SEC.

You might want to follow Tech. Big Boy Conference football seems to have you triggered, and that’s where we are now.

We avoided a potential loss because a Stoops went for it on 4th down instead of kicking a field goal, and we got bailed out of a miss yesterday because the worst team in the league decided to punt to our great punt returner (apologies to Ketch).

Hate your rivals.  That’s fine.  But live in reality while you do it. I know that’s a tough ask in this forum.

Oh so aggy gets carry forward credit for joining the SEC when Alabama was winning a bunch of championships 13 years ago?  That seems less than relevant today.  The fact is they manipulated the situation to have the easiest possible schedule this year while other teams (like us) are playing actual hard schedules.

The dude is doing a bit. He has another one where he claims thet A&M regularly only gets 40k to the stadium and that we are less valuable than Arky or UK when it comes to football tv ratings (A&M was a top ten most most watched team in 2024).

If you think they have any pull in the league office with making schedules, you are high.

If they had pull, Texas and OU wouldn’t be in the SEC.  Clearly they don’t have any pull.

Keep you tinfoil hat on though.

Eh, you can basically pencil in Alabama and Georgia as top tier every season so ducking them is huge.

More seasons than not, LSU at home and Florida is going to be a tougher draw than Ole Miss and OU (most thought it would be this year). And we still have UT at DKR which is going to be a brutal game to play. We ended up getting a favorable draw this year, absolutely.  There was far from a guarantee that it would actually work out that way.

Very likely they will have beaten no ranked teams by the end of the year. The most likely is ND because their remaining schedule is a fucking joke.

Of the SEC teams with 0 or 1 losses, they have played none and likely will play none by the end of the season. Unless somehow we sneak by Vanderbilt and Georgia.

the win against ND at ND is a very solid win(not sold that ND is really a top 10 team but still very solid) and the pasting of LSU at LSU put you in the playoffs.

a 9th conference game will help some of this I believe but yep you got a good draw.  who knew LSU and Florida would suck but Vandy and OM would be good.

that said, based on what I've seen I see no way a&m doesn't win the national championship.

This post sounds like something from texags

I don’t know why it hurts and pains some of you to just say that A&M is very, very good, that they are headed for the SECCG, and are headed for the playoffs where they can likely get a first round bye. Instead we get folks here who look at our team needing overtime to beat bottom-dweller Mississippi State and make claims like “we will beat them” when they know deep down A&M is a much better team with better skill position players and a better QB. You’re taking the A&M is little bro and beneath Texas thing so seriously and personally that it’s blinding you looking at this logically. As someone said last night, the A&M game isn’t like the ou game. In the A&M game, the better team wins more often than not. in the ou game, any shit can happen at any time. A&M is the better team, and you need to prepare yourselves that they will run it up at DKR here in a month or so because they will.

Based on roster, results, past history under Freeman I think ND is a top ten team or close.

I think they’d smoke GT (a very good team but if you want to talk about REALLY playing no one…) and would easily beat BYU.  We already know they are competitive with A&M and Miami. They’re competitive if not better than Vandy. They’d be competitive with Ole Miss.

Behind them? Tennessee is a team that can play with anyone. Other than that, who? OU, Tech?

A top ten has to to have ten teams in it. ND lost to two very good teams early in the top ten and beyond that has played every bit like a top ten team outclassing opponents.

Elko is building something scary in College Station while Sark is trying to figure out how to teach Arch how to throw a football properly.

Delusions of grandeur across this board.  Far too many fans refusing to see what is immediately in their face.  This Horn football team is not good and nothing is going to fix it this season.  Sark has seriously compromised this program with his lack of player development and inability to properly evaluate talent & access needs.  Hate all you want but there are some serious internal problems that aren't going away anytime soon.  All while Elko continues to stack dimes and bring in more & more recruits and lineman that Sark continues to fail at getting & then developing.
