7 hours ago7 hr Author With the mounting evidence that a first-round byes is detrimental, I can easily see Oregon and Alabama winning today. The big question is, will Ole Miss upset Georgia as well?

5 hours ago5 hr Win-win for me, Oregon is in the lead for our son’s college choice (he’s got more he’s waiting on) and if tech wins A&M fans will lose their fucking minds. Tech winning doesn’t adversely impact Texas status, so who gives a shit? Don’t care who wins just stoked Texas won, OU and A&M lost in embarrassing or heart breaking fashion. Now it’s guilt free meaningful college football all fucking day long.

I think the Ducks fly past them (I'll be here all week!). Tech's defense should keep it fairly close but I'd look for a couple of big plays to win it for Oregon.
4 hours ago4 hr Think this game hinges on two things:Tech's defense appears to be pretty good; they get a lot of turnovers and make disruptive plays. Can they do that against Oregon after a long layoff? If they don't....how good is the Tech offense really? I think if they get short fields, etc, from point number 1, they don't have to be really good, but if they don't, their ability or inability to sustain drives and get points is going to be pivotal. No matter how good your defense is I don't think they can just keep giving Oregon the ball and hope to win. Edited 4 hours ago4 hr by Surly Bevo

An Aggie upset loss to their real, yet unacknowledged, rival. College hijinx disrespecting preposterous Aggie traditions. The typical humorless, exaggerated response. The governor’s right-hand man making an ass of himself and getting punched by a fellow Ag who got sick of his shit, then running to the papers to weave fairy tales of Aggie bravery and honor in the face of insurmountable odds. Evidence emerges online, revealing that the purported legion storming the Alamo was in fact a bunch of high school pranksters and a toothless, drunk townie. The whole shitshow was such a perfect encapsulation of A&M’s tenure in the Big 12. They wanted so badly to be something other than what they were: a national joke who was frequently clowned by their true rival, a middling Texas Tech, to the amusement of actual blue blood programs. 4 hours ago4 hr I honestly have no opinion of Tech entering this game. With a Big XII schedule and zero non-conference tests, to me they are getting tested for the first time……today…..now I understand they are now players in the NIL world of CFB, and maybe they are “for real”……but games against BYU are not the measuring stick that today “should” be.

They pass the eye test in the games I've watched, but it's always hard to tell against mediocre teams. Hell, aggy was 11-0 until they were 11-2. Snicker. Oregon is a legit top 10 team. So, let's find out who Tech is.

4 hours ago4 hr Btw, am I the only one that looks at Hard Rock Stadium and thinks “It’s too small to be hosting major events”? Miami needs a larger capacity stadium befitting of its rotation for events like Super Bowls and the like in my opinion

Used to be 75K, now a touch below 65K....much too small, though not for today's game.
