Springer started overswinging a couple of games ago.  I remember twice in one game where he swung so hard he went down to a knee.  That's usually a pretty good clue he's heading for a slump.

He got hurt first AB on Friday

He swung out of his shoes then grabbed his back

I'm actually shocked Hinch had been playing him since he seems so overprotective

Is a .411 batting average any good?

Alright, seriously we can't have Yuli and White together on the right side.  They said in the Chronicle that Bregman volunteered to play 2nd...he and Yuli need to flip.  Like right now, mid game.

We might want to bring up a 2b. I don’t know who that would be. Wouldn’t want to be a 2b in the Astros farm system.

They don't deserve to win this game. Doing everything they can to piss it away

I'm not buying Kalas trying to sell that Chavis wouldn't have scored on that.  Especially when the throw in missed the cutoff and rolled into the infield.

This question has probably been asked and answered several times, but if I am a cord cutter, is there any way to stream Astros games blacked out in Austin on MLBTV or elsewhere without some nonsense with my IP address?

White....this would be a great time for your first hr

Might as well just DFA White and bring up Tucker. Tucker is sucking in AAA, but might as well let him do it with the big club

You can't use mlb.tv in Texas without hiding your location.  There are some really easy ways to do it.  Just make sure whichever one you pick works with your router. Some of the whole home systems don't let you change your DNS settings or make other changes you might have to make.

Longhorn or not, time to do to Workman what we did in the ALCS last year.

reddit was an absolute savior last year.  it's easy and great and i either watched on my laptop or plugged my laptop into my tv.

i got mlb.tv this season because only because i added roku (i'm out of area though).

Just get a VPN.

Jake can't lay off a low and away breaking ball to save his life.

still enough games to have 3 10 game win streaks before june 1

To stop a 10 game win streak it took playing shitty defense, losing one of your leading hitters to an injury, bad approaches at the plate by several hitters.

That 11th win is tricky.  A 5-1 road trip and series win at Fenway is still pretty, pretty good.

It's called getting beat by good pitching

Sale was not sharp today and we had chances to get more runs really. Their relievers were spot on and shut us down.

Sale walked 5 today.

That's about 5 games worth.

Halfassed swings when you know the pitcher is bringing it did not help.

Good series win guys. Damn the Astros look great this year.

Now please beat the crap out of the Yankees and Tampa as well.

springer and diaz both need to go on the 10 day dl if it means having them healthy in oct

we can make due until then

Yuli sucked in that one defensively

Yuli played those popups the way Jake attacked those breaking balls: indecisively and ineffectively. Shake it off and start another streak.

De Goti, Mayfield, and Tanielu all can play multiple IF positions. None are on the 40, but the Astros have an extra spot open.

All 3 bat RH, with a .846 OPS for De Goti, .896 for Mayfield, and .736 for Tanielu.

Guess you bring up one of those guys and Fisher.
