I continue to be amazed/depressed at the scourge of people who actually think that Stewart Mandel and other sports writers are actually rooting against football being played this fall. There’s a difference between critical thinking/reporting vs actually being “against” something folks. It seems like everyone has suddenly become exponentially more pissy if the news/reporting being delivered to them (whether sports, political or otherwise) is not couched in exactly the terms and tone that they want to conform to their already current views and beliefs. In other words, we are getting increasingly dumber as a society.13 points

Explain, please. Who are the folks "betting" money that they fail? Give me a few specific names that comprise "a lot of people who want to see this fail"? Who wants the universities to "have to close"? Who, other than yourself, is pushing a narrative to "sensationalize anything they can to influence perception"? Where are the B1G and P12 going to be "out in force using their media connections to deflect criticism from themselves"? How will the B1G and P12 "end" as a conference if the B12 has a successful season? Please advise where one becomes "educated on the facts" now that you've blown our minds with the idea that Twitter isn't a repository of sourced information? You spew a lot of baseless and idiotic proclamations, but I struggle to find where you support any of these opinions. And yes, you say nothing but opinion in the above. There is not one scintilla of fact behind your argument. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you don't have a fucking clue about what you speak.12 points

No. He isn't even in the same category as those two. You need to go back to the era of Feudalism for Trump where he is comparable to an inbred retarded king.11 points

Trump is not evil, he's just mean. Evil is when someone is sociopathic, power hungry, and intelligent. When you replace intelligent with dumb, that's just mean.10 points

Not really. We have a 4 star average Still. We’ve got a few pieces of bread, but guys like Alexis, Helm, and Davis are all very high upside takes. Plus we still have some highly rated targets, like the the 2 RBs, Turner, and probably Cooks and Regis once sites update their rankings. Milroe staying in obviously would’ve helped, but we lost him for a good reason and he probably would’ve transferred anyways. Taking someone like Wright is a good move. We need QB depth and the only way to have that is taking a guy like him in between two elite classes. Parts of the class are disappointing, but it’s still going to be a good class overall and it won’t hold Herman back from having the talent to make the CFP.10 points

I like how when Herpa objected to Newy's post, and asked for sources that would back up his narrative, Newy immediately cited his own comments in the same f'n post that Herpa disagreed with. Newy must have massive tits and a tight ass to get through life arguing like that.9 points

Stewart Mendel is a mouthpiece for the Big 10. He is exactly one of the media members I am referencing who is going to shit all over conferences that decide to play this fall. And, coincidentally what he is saying is completely disingenuous bordering on outright fabrication.9 points

Dr D then started another twitter account, @WRHookEm, with the same email address he used to register the name BuddyLufkin on Shaggy. 10. The name associated with the twitter account @WRHookEm is Buddy Lufkin. However, Google crawled the page when it first started, and at that time, the name associated with the account was Will Ray. 11. A search for the email account associated with the Dr D account pulls up a Facebook profile for "Bill Ellis." 13. Brocks to bama was a ruse to lure Milroe to bama and make room for Wright and Yurcich gets his guy. Keeps us from looking bad from pushing Milroe out. Now that the deed is done, Brocks flip to the good guys. 3D Chess.8 points

On a random side note I think it’s absolute horse shit that companies can advertise publicly for prescription drugs...’ask your doctor if xyz is right for you’ pisses me off. Those ad dollars raise the price of the drug, i want the medical community to make the judgement call on what medication is right for the situation, and with google leading you to believe everything is terminal brain cancer it seems dangerous to hype up medication to non-qualified people.8 points

If Johnny could see things happen in advance it's even more baffling if he saw himself turning into a drug and alcohol abuser who assaults women and didn't do anything about it while he could. He knew he could count on aggy to forget all about that though.7 points

I’m awake at 4:30 AM because I got up yesterday at 5:00 to drive to another funeral for a friend who died of Covid. Got home yesterday evening at 9:00 and promptly passed out and I just woke up. Healthy male in his late 40s that leaves behind a wife and two high school kids and one kid in college. He was a CRNA and best they can tell he contracted it at work. God, I’m just so TIRED. That’s two very close friends of mine who have succumbed to this. 2020 can fuck all the way off and eat all the dicks.7 points

Awesome training, really good job having control over that situation so you don't have to resort to your pistol. They let him walk away, walk away again, and open his car and start to get in. They couldn't put a stop to that earlier without having to resort to lethal measures? What's the point of having this many police if some of them are this fucking terrible at their job?6 points

I guess I'm a Strat guy, now. Mentioned earlier I was getting along more with my Classic Players 50's Strat. Well, it is now the go to guitar. Love the 57/62 pickups with position 4 being neck and bridge like a Tele. Plus the V neck with the 9.5 radius is very playable. The 2-point trem and locking tuners work well and keep the thing in tune, no matter how aggressive I get with the trem bar.6 points

My strat spends long periods of time on the "bench" (the seven guitar stand where most of my electrics are out) because I have so many guitars and I particularly love staring at my LP ad my Duo Jet. But then it comes out and I love it every single time. One of my favorite guitars plugged in. I love strats clean and dirty, and if I'm in the right mood love 2 or 4 with dripping with reverb/delay and a bit of chorus. It's also one of my most solidly built guitars. Probably actually edged out by this guy, who I pulled out again recently. I know PRS isn't everyone's favorite guitar but this one is great to hit hard.5 points
