  1. LSU is a mortal enemy for UT at this point. We are competing with these cheating, stupid motherfuckers for every recruit we want - yard, by hard fucking yard. ATM opened the door for the SEC to come into Texas and take an elephant-sized dump on the concept of honorable recruiting within the state. LSU is leading the pack through the gate, and then these dumb fuckfaces can't even do us the solid of beating ATM to salve the wounds. They are buying players while simultaneously playing dirty with recruits in Louisiana that they don't want, but they also don't want us to have. They fucking recruited Mike Williams back to campus once we realized we had a player and then had the brazen audacity to enroll as a walk-on paying his own way into their school. In short, we're at the equivalent of college football war here, and you rubes are equivocating about these mouthbreathers and touting them as happy go-lucky friends of yours that mean well. Aw shucks, I love those dumb bastards. Right. I despise LSU and everything it represents. They produce malformed thinkers into the business world, who they inevitably dump on my doorstep in Houston because New Orleans and Baton Rouge are already filled to the brim with restaurant managers and HR generalists with LSU degrees. They value cheating and utter dishonesty as solid character traits. Half of them struggle to speak intelligible English. They have a worldview tucked happily within a 50 mile radius of their swamp-assed back porches. Corruption is a badge of honor for these buffoons. The only redeeming qualities these people possess as a collective are an outstanding legacy with food and a bunch of moderately attractive women with low moral fiber. Fuck right off with the "they're my second favorite team" sentiment. Take that shit to tigerdroppings. We don't want to hear it. If LSU is playing ISIS, I'm donning all black and a fundamentalist attitude for four quarters until the jihad against these dipshits is complete.

  4. What the fuck? My ideal scenario is to see ATM get publicly buttfucked on national television by Clemson as Jimbo Fisher kicks one of his players in the nuts on the sidelines in a little man fit of psychotic rage. Then Texas goes out and plays its own version of dueling banjos on LSU’s collective ass as a confused Ed Orgeron mistakes the tune for the sign of a good ol’hootenanny and starts dancing the jig on their sideline. But yeah, you cheer for a scenario that causes every talking head in the country to ultimately marginalize a Texas victory all season.

  5. Blair Angulo says he's close to putting a CB in for Bijan for Texas, and would put the current percentages thusly: Texas 35%, UCLA 25%, Ohio State 25%, USC/UW/LSU 15%. He plans to OV to USC and UCLA in addition to Texas and Ohio State. LSU and Washington are competing for the final OV, and plans on announcing in September sometime. The IT guys also say that they're hearing that Texas currently leads. This would be a big recruitment to win, as it sets the floor for the position as at least landing one 5*.

  8. It seems there are multiple options for this sale: different percentages available, including or not including some real estate, etc. You can tell, because each prospectus has multiple colored stickers on the cover telling you what's included in the deal.

  11. Back in the early 80's, after my freshman year of college, I told my dad I was going to drop out and "Just get a job". My dad said, "not to worry, I'll get you a job. You can start the day after your last final." He got me a job working for a friend of his who was a roofing contractor. This contractor paid me the same as he paid the illegal immigrants he picked up up downtown at the corner of 1st and San Antonio (somewhere around there- more or less where the current city administration buildings are): 10 bucks an hour under the table, he paid for lunch and a twelve pack after work. He also expected me to work as hard as they worked. I lasted a summer, before my ass was back in school. I was 18 and shingling roofs in summer in Austin almost killed me. My Mexican co-workers did it without complaining, sending most of their money back home. They were ready to work, everyday, waiting for him to pull up in his truck. Three would jump in the back seat, the rest in the bed, grateful for the opportunity. Give me a hundred or a thousand or a million of them over all the MAGA-ots in world.

  20. It’s not a perfect deal, but I’m not sure what a realistic perfect deal looks like. It essentially froze Iran’s nuclear program for 10 years, with real verifiability, in exchange for giving the Iranian’s access to financial markets. The thinking is once the Iranians got a taste of global markets they might be less interested in the bomb and we have a decade to reset relations. And it’s not an insane idea. The government might be theocratic, but Iranians are young, well educated, relatively secular, and interested in joining the global community. There are 3 constituencies in opposition: Isreal: Iran is anti-Semitic AF, and supports Hezzbolah. Saudi Arabia: terrified we might actually reach detente with Iranian and not need them. Neo-cons: want a redo of the Iraq war, but this time, Better! Some Christians also believe Iran is the key to bringing on endtimes. The whole rebrand it idea is not without merit, but Trump can’t stay focused for 30 seconds.

  22. No, my logic is not backwards. In digital forensics, particularly network forensics, a baseline is established using network data. This is how you understand what normal network traffic looks like and then search for any network activity that deviates from the baseline. Regardless of the organizations involved, you NEVER begin an investigation by drawing conclusions before you understand what normal network behavior and anomalous behavior looks like. What you are suggesting is that you draw a conclusion and then seek out theories that prove your conclusion. This is how unfounded conspiracy theories get started. Now you are down the rabbit hole of trying to prove a conclusion drawn without evidence. All of the available evidence supports the fact that the mail server in question was owned and managed by Cendyn/Listrak for the purpose of an email marketing campaign. I use the term conspiracy theory because the theories that have been floated are not evidence based but driven by the assumption of a conspiracy between the Trump organization, Spectrum and Alfa Bank.

  31. You know, I was on this Southwest flight once, and I’m sitting there, and the captain gets on and does his whole you know “we’ll be cruising at 35,000 feet,” but then he put puts the mic down and forgets to turn it off. And he turns to the co-pilot and he’s like “you know, all I could use right now is a fuckin’ blow job and a cup of coffee.” So the stewardess goes fuckin’ bombing up from the back of the plane to tell him that his microphone’s still on and this guy in the back of the plane’s like “hey hun, don't forget the coffee”

The themes throughout the series and having recognizable melodies (Rains of Castamere) presented in many different styles has really contributed to the richness of the story.
