Incredible year by PK and his staff. This defense looked well coached all year. Sad giving up the one single big plays last night, but incredible how much it stands out because we haven't seen anything close to it all year. Well done.

Held the defending national champs to 203 total yards, 14 points, and only 77 rush yards.
Held the “best offensive player in CFB” to 43.

Anyone putting this on PK can fuck off.

Look how hard the defense was playing when Ohio State was up 14, with 5 minutes to go, trying to take the air out of the ball, when it would have been easy to lay down.

Very impressed.

That defense stayed strong the whole game, we are going to win a bunch of games thanks to them, hopefully the offense can come alive over the next three games.

Zero sacks and zero turnovers was a bit surprising, but tOSU played conservatively on offense for the most part and didn't do anything stupid. Our defense has almost no margin for error thanks to our continued offensive ineptitude. Just two lapses (Guilbeau vs. Tate and Hill missing on 4th and 1) shouldn't have been enough to tilt the game, but they were.

D looked good but I was surprised by the lack of pressure and I do think OSU had a conservative game plan. They would've opened it up more if our offense scored points. Run D passed with flying colors though.

Also that's the toughest WR group we'll face all year too and Sayin played surprisingly well.

Zero sacks because everything they drew up was quick passes.

Run run pass offense for new qb was just enough. When they tried to run a normal drop back play it was close to sack time. Day said hell no, run run pass till I have to do something different. Our defense is elite and will carry this team as y’all say

Maraad Watson and AntHill were defensive players of San Jose St game.  Really glad to see consistent play at both nose and LB by PKs defense so far in 2025.

Not complaining but just a general observation is that we're back to playing off of receivers more often now.

I noticed that and was not happy.

It's allowing the quick passing game to open up for teams as well which I think in turn is not giving us the extra time to get home with sacks.

Yep you gotta force teams to hold onto the ball. Otherwise what are we doing here? Waiting for them to miss wide open receivers because it works in practice?

I don't think they really trust the second CB spot. It was also the correct strategy against UTEP. You stop the run, take away explosives, and make them execute their way down the field, converting 3rd and longs along the way. There's not really a reason to play that game anything but pure vanilla.
