Anxious to hear how the front 6-7 will look against Maryland.

Four down linemen with Graham added and Roach at Mac in nickel in the first half makes the most sense, then back to 3/3 nickel base in the second half with Roach at b-backer. Shark backs up both linebacker spots assuming he's back and healthy.

It was fun, if not predictable to watch the 9.99'5 drum up a make believe QB battle right until the very words came out of Herman's mouth.
When have they not done that? Pretty sure at one point a $9.95'er tried to throw Matthew Merrick (now persuing interests other than football) into the mix..

Sounds like Kirk Johnson is running about 6th team RB right now.  Doesn't seem to jibe w/ the scrimmage reports.
The way RB's get dinged up during the course of a season, the entire RB room should get chances to show what they got this year..

They know our fanbase and are trying to temper expectations IMO. If there is ever a dude on this roster that needs to prove it over the course of a season, it's Kirk.

IT and every other site is full of shit. At least I’m told. It’s Young and Ingram getting the bulk of the carries with Watson on third down.

Young is the guy who goes on the field first.

It's good to get an update from Herman on such and important aspect of this program. Real hard hitting journalism there.

The only thing begrudging about Herman’s answer was that he had to answer such a stupid fucking question. He said “no” and moved on.

He didn't even say it begrudgingly if you watch the interview, this guy is just trying to stir the pot.

To say they had him on the list of "overrated ones" is pretty disingenuous. The article I read said he received votes as both over and under rated.  Not to mention, it was probably 1 or 2 coaches who said each, so it's a pretty pointless stat.

Sure last years results were pretty mediocre but you have to consider the quality of talent on the OL in judging offensive performance. Other than that, where would one say he his results were overrated?  Winning a NC an an OC or turning UH into a P5 ass kicker in a couple of years?
