He fired directly at a windowless ICE van and into the ICE facility.  In what way is this not a direct attack against ICE?  That he was too much of an idiot and hit detainees instead speaks to unprepared he was.

Or was the plan to wait until people were apprehended, then wait outside of the facility with a rifle and then carefully try and take them out as they were walked to the vehicle and perfectly time the entire thing?

Buying any narrative from this executive branch is foolhardy.

Third recent shooting at ICE agents in Texas alone.

This comes right after the Charlie Kirk assassination two weeks ago.

It follows the leftists attack on the Sacramento ABC station.

It follows the leftists attack on the wedding in Connecticut.

It follows the ongoing attacks against any memorials for Charlie Kirk.

It's been a busy couple of weeks for you guys.

Reap the whirlwind.

According to Jesus Kirk, some gun violence is an acceptable cost for the right to bear arms against tyranny.

As of the last election, polling showed 70% support for deporting "all of them". This is another 80/20 issue and you are on the minority side of things. Did you know that Trump won 12 of the 14 Texas counties that border Mexico? Your side is going to FAFO themselves into Bolivia.

I may be wrong, but I just don't think the public is going to broadly support mass killings.

Electoral popularity, especially among the stupidest Americans, does not make a policy right.  If that puts me in the minority, fine.

And, maybe now that people have seen what this actually means, we're not such a minority anymore. https://apnews.com/article/immigration-polling-trump-deportation-d138992f803e2d0b5b399aa9eaa36581

Have an administration of violence and inhumanity, reap.

Indeed. I disagree strongly with your preference for violence. It seems morally wrong and designed to terrorize the people.

I don't have a preference for violence. But when an administration is violent and lawless, that seems to be a natural result from the populace.

I would rather the administration not be violent, lawless, and hateful ab initio.

Man, that chart is pretty interesting. Steady 2/3 support for immigration, going back 20 years, and then all of a sudden it plummets among a certain cohort in the build-up to the election, and then boom. It bounces back to historical norms. It's almost as if pounding away at a single message demonizing immigrants to a captive, racist, and under-educated audience that's in the thralls of its favorite propaganda channel actually works.

Or….Americans didn’t appreciate being gaslit the last four years about the border being secure

Gaslit?

Biden openly changed border policies that resulted in more border encounters and crossings.  He was open about it because it was thought to curry the Latino vote, among other things.

Republicans lied that "encounters" was the same as entries or crossings.

Granted, Biden's policy was not popular, because Republicans constantly lied about the criminality of immigrants and that they were taking American jobs and "stealing" benefits for which they are mostly not eligible and don't actually receive.

Oh, and lets not forget the first significant border legislation in more than 20 years that Trump torpedoed for his own selfish purposes.

It’s also important to remember that demographics was destiny to their side up until about 5 minutes ago. They’re lazy and dumb for the most part.

He signed an EO in June of ‘24. He couldn’t have cared less even if he tried.
