You conspiracy losers gotta fuck up this thread, this might be the dumbest conspiracy theory since qanon. The NBA really wants to make a Canadian who plays for the 3rd smallest market the face of the league because why? Quit watching if you think everything is rigged morons

While I agree there is really no conspiracy, and it was merely a horrible Ref making a game/series about himself and costing a team a win due to sheer negligence IMO.

You're absolutely out of your mind if you don't see "why" they would rig it for SGA.

He's literally the MVP this year. And a young start with the potential to be the Face of the League.

IF they were pulling for a team to win it would definitely be the young potential Dynasty OKC Thunder.

And I fucking hope they lose.  I hope they're just the 2021 Suns redux...early playoff run, then a Finals run being anointed as the FUTURE, only to lose in the Finals and fall apart after that.

Of course Presti has 100 damned picks and isn't dumb enough to make a KD trade. And even if he did they have the assets to fill out their team as needed.

Always love seeing players shoot like literal ass(Luka and kyrie last years WCF, Chet now) who previously lit up the wolves and cost us games.

So now you know how I feel every time the Nuggets play the damn Wolves

If he's good enough to win MVP, then he doesn't need help from the NBA cabal.

The "nBa iS rIggEd" twitter reply guys will tell you SGA is only good because he's (their new favorite phrase) a FOUL MERCHANT!!1

2016 finals game 7: 93-89
2013 finals game 7: 95-88
2010 finals game 7: 83-79
2005 finals game 7: 81-74
1994 finals game 7: 90-84

It's been 37 years (Lakers/Pistons in '88) since a team cracked 100 in a finals game 7, kinda crazy. Defensive-focused game incoming...

Come defend some of these calls, and then show me anything even close to this that Hali gets for the Pacers. This is the Finals, when we are supposed to be getting the best teams and great games, but they are constantly marred by this dumb flopping shit, and really, just some insane calls that aren't even SGA's fault. Like some of these are such weak contact I think even he was surprised to get the call.

Someone should count how many times Shai ends up on the floor looking for a call during a game.  It's gotta be 20-30 times a game.

It's nerves.

One of the things I'll never forget about 2016 Game 7 is just how nervous all of the players were in the 4th.  The game was stuck at 89-89 from like the 6 or 7 minute mark until the Kyrie 3 - everybody was bricking everything.

I suspect the same thing will happen Sunday in a close game.

well one little thing too...

I could do the “there’s a title in my ear so I can’t quite hear you” but I’m better than that. Both our teams feel equally as far from a true title contender right now

Guessing it closes at 9.  And OKC will cover.

Lol they might get 9.5 before it's over. These games are pretty much inevitable in this league. Game 5 winner of a 2-2 series, goes on the road and lays an egg in a blowout loss. Goes back home and blows the other team out. Game 7 won't make Indiana be something they aren't.

Down to 7.5.

Scott Foster on deck tomorrow. OKC is 5-0 with him officiating in the playoffs this year.

Silver is making sure Shai gets his chip.
Very glad I was wrong on this one. Foster is not working tonight's game.

T.J.’s Aunt Susie played at Penn State and won a Gold Medal in the Olympics. His Aunt Kathy played at UVa and is now the head coach at Carnegie Mellon University. His Uncle Mike is an NCAA ref. There is another brother, whom I do not know, who played at Davidson and has been an NCAA assistant coach at a few places.

Timmy, T.J.’s dad, is a good guy. One of my roomies at Pitt used to play against him in a summer league and said that Timmy was always relentless, never quit, win or lose. It’s why he’s been a very successful high school coach here in Pittsburgh.

They are basketball junkies, true representation of the old Chechen & Chong song - - Basketball Jones.

That clip was funny, and a true representation of Timmy.

Closer this gets to tipoff, the more I think Indiana is going to win this one. If OKC doesn't get off to a blazing start, I really think you are going to see them crumble under the pressure.

Fuck, I wanted a good game 7. But moreso it sucks because that dude impressed me more than anyone else in the playoffs. Hardly watched a lot of pacers in the regular season, and had no idea his game was at this level. Feel bad for the dude.
