Wingspan includes the chest my guy

Yeah, but I see were DD is coming from. If you subtract 72" from 85" that is only 13 inches left for the measurement across the chest.

Right. But what I think of as arm length and wingspan would mean that his chest is 13”wide.

I don’t mind the piling on, not the first time I’ve earned it.

One thing I learned today (and never had any reason to know before I looked it up after hearing it from Heather Dinich) is that Indiana has the largest living alumni base in the country. Close second is Penn State. Texas is 6th.

Of course, who gives a fuck, but I found that somewhat interesting nonetheless.

Rank

Based on data from here. 3 years ago, we would have asked, what the hell are all of the alumni from Indiana, UCLA, Purdue, and Berkeley doing with all of their money? Why do their football teams suck so bad.

The link above redirects to school sites, referring to "Alumni Association" for Purdue, "Living Former Students" for Aggy, "Texas Exes" for UT (refers to Alumni), and IU refers to Alumni. I may be picking nits, but I have always wondered about Texas A&M's numbers being inflated. Not that it really matters...

4 loss teams are going make the playoffs this is so dumb,….. for real.

Yeah, no. Maybe if they go to a 24 team CFP, but they aren't even letting 3-loss teams in unless that third loss came in a CCG (Bama). In what world do you see a 4-loss team in? They just got two G5 teams in over us, and they left out a 2-loss BYU team who made the CCG, where they got that second loss, regardless if they lost to a shitty tech team, and then let in that same shitty tech team that had no business being there because of their CCG win.

Basically, they'll do anything in their power to make sure to not let anyone with less than two wins in, unless you're in a JV conference (Big XII), or Miami (ACC) then you only get one in. At least Miami has shown signs of life and made the semis.

Gerry talking about how the days of 25 person classes are over. Considering we have lost half of the class already I tend to agree with him. You find 10-15 guys you focus NIL on and if you get anyone else it’s 2-3 star development guys that you just see if you strike gold with any of them that cost little but are motivated by the chance to be part of a big program.

25-35% overall less players getting a free education, while the elite get stupid rich? this sounds like most american thing ever!!! wonder it took us so long to figure this system out.

That diploma mill in college station will pass us by May graduation.

There was only a single 8-4 team even in the CFP top 25

Given the wording of the tweet, I'm not sure if they counted the hands in their arm measurement, given that they listed his hand size right next to it. Also, make sure you aren't confusing chest width with chest circumference.

Clemson won 2 titleswith halfass offensive lines because they had All World QBs and NFL defensive lines. Best positive I've got right now

Not seeing how this model is going to produce undefeated teams year in year out. Rebuilding an entire roster every year is going to promote injuries and lots of early loses. Basketball I can see it but football with 7 to 8 new faces on each side of the ball. I don’t know…… Hope I’m wrong

Well, a certain individual or even group isn't really supposed to be "bankrolling" a player.

What they are permitted to do is hire a player for some use of their NIL, which ostensibly is a quid pro quo transaction that obviates a need for thanks. And, the thanks may be evidence that it is not an NIL quid quo pro, but rather something gratuitous or pay for play.

Or they can contribute to a collective, which just blurs the lines all over the place and there's no one really to write a "thank you" to, except perhaps the collective itself.

I have a daughter that does media/marketing deals and she always thanks them? If these were legit deals, there would be no issue. It's pretty normal to thank someone bringing you an opportunity and hope they do it again.

Kinda funny how my perception of young, highly rated transfers went from “obvious bust, do not touch” in the past to “deeply discounted, pre-developed depth piece”

He/his dad has been talking about how Longstreet has no interest in riding the pine again for the last week or so so I don't think the timing has anything to do with LSU.

People keep saying that but those lines were filled with all conference level players including a guy who was a 2x conference OL of the year.

Indiana and Penn State don't differentiate between their flagship school and their system schools when it comes to alumni association. Imagine how big Texas Exe's would be if every graduate of the UT System could join it.

And it wasn't aggy, which makes it weird. I can't accept this version of reality.

Yeah, the Demond Williams situation is messy for Washington, but its great for every other school. Putting paper to pen actually meant something.
