Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Sunday, Bloody Sunday

Slow start obviously but has come on strong the last few days. The LB yesterday and cam today are good ones.

They messed up by going after guys not even in the portal and at places that were going to fight hard to keep them.

Still has work to do. But if they finish with and OL or two, another RB and edge and maybe then another WR would be a great finish

I'm firmly in the "in spite of, not because of" camp, based on everything I've seen and what imma has posted

Come on, you lemmings! You sheep! You think two signings make up for all the misery that Sark, Flood, and Harris have put us through this week, and this season?

I mean, I do. I’m just checking…

I cant deny that. Very possible. But still if they finish strong he’s going to get credit. Deserved or not.

Lulz.

Happy Sunday, Ags.

This is great news! Three cheers for any and all responsible parties. He’s unlike any prospect we’ve had in awhile!

I love the transfer portal cope of “I’d rather spend that money on other players”

Gerry is glazing Brandon Harris now

Mabye Harris unknowingly did what was required of him, piss off the 2nd/3rd string into leaving making $$room$$ for us to buy better players.

Maybe Sark and Harris lucked themselves into some 4D chess moves.

Ags are leaning hard into the "Could be Bama, could be A&M, could be Tech, could be anyone but Texas" routine on this one. Portends well.

Well well well

Well shit, does this mean we can't storm RGBIII's house anymore?

Now just gotta land the plane on some OLs to block for all these studs!

weekend isn’t done and no forecast for rain…fireworks are still on the menu

Predictable and sad. By all accounts he’s a future pro and does things the right way.

He handled the recruitment the exact right way. Professionally, quietly, thorough and processed

Honest question. How much of the recent portal wins are remotely because of anything Harris did? It's not like the portal guys are buying a car and he's the equivalent of the "finance manager" who runs the numbers and shit.

995ers have been openly saying this is exactly what they've been doing.

No luck about it, now that the deed is done.

Coleman is a nice surprise. I guess I should have known. He committed to aggy as a recruit without ever visiting. He has no real connections there. Bama had me worried because DeBoer is so shitty at roster management, he would overspend on a WR when Bama desperately needs to upgrade at OL, but Simpson left. Tech never felt serious, but hey they spent $6 million on fucking Sorsby.

Texas always made sense. Mostly because of Arch.

I am very very very happy about Coleman. Very excited. It's great.

But the $9.95s spiking the fucking football right now with regard to Harris is hilariously short-sighted.

Coleman is fine but we need to continue to focus on all the OL we whiffed on.

This, but unironically. Still need OL or a haul at the skill positions means fairly little.

Also this gem: “we already played cam Coleman once and he only a had 4 catch’s and like 16 yards” as if playing with Jackson Arnold is comparable

Can’t you read, sip? Unliked the vaunted Jackson Arnold, Arch cannot throw deep.

I don't know enough about Brandon Harris but I get the idea a lot of the hate is just from him being the central part of business decisions. The guy that fires employees is never liked. Am I wrong?

Of course the only way Texas could get him over lightly A&M is offer him almost double what anyone else did.

No other way Texas could possibly get him otherwise!

(If 7.5 mil is real wow)

Dumb question amnesty about the portal..

Would moving the portal opening to the first day of summer solve most portal problems? Schools honor spring semester scholarships and spring practice/training and the player is free to leave school if they wish (and wait for the 1st day of summer).

I can confirm we did not offer 7.5 million lol

Gerry saying it came down to us and Tech and he is sure Tech offered a bigger number

Yep. It doesn't mean shit if we don't close out with some quality OL talent and prove it on the field in 2026-27.

Bama and aggy are going to whine all damn spring....

Going to be glorious...

The 995er sources have to be tight with Harris, right? No other way he would be getting so much praise

He’s the PK of GMs. It’s great or terrible depending on the weather.

Well sure the school that is still paying Jimbo $75,000 a day just to take a piss thinks we spent that on one player. If we did (no) we are fucking stupid (no) bc injuries make every player equal. As long as we have a war chest to build the Oline and Dline I’m happy as fuck. We have to have a foundation for the fancy mansion we are building. As always thank you 🫡 to the gentlemen on this board who truly make this possible.

Or maybe they just think the Harris hyperbole is complete bullshit.

I just hope Harris' fourth quarter approach to the portal isn't of the prevent defense style.

I think a lot of people undervalued the importance of Arch coming back. Skill players want to play with him. Money obviously matters but Arch has to help.
