Inka is correct. We will need folks to help out in the coming weeks. I look forward to meeting him and his buddy in person.

Also, if you would like to donate, Liquid IV would be great. It is hot asf and humid with all of the water in the atmosphere and just being out in the heat for a few minutes whips your ass. I helped unload 500 cases of water and Gatorade Saturday and was pretty much done for the day.

Hold on, I had your CERT Manager tell me he did not need any. They had enough.

We came in with 25 boxes. Most are with Connie. We have more coming in tomorrow straight to her.

You shoudl run in. Their shitters are not working. Walked the plant today. Man.......

Nothing sucks like a flooded wastewater plant.  I just had a flashback to the aftermath of Harvey and a couple of other big rain events in my career.  I imagine that there's ruined motors and electrical gear all over the plants that will have to be replaced.

TCEQ has, or had, a list of A licensed operators who volunteer to help out in situations like this.  Unfortunately, due to some family business I cannot do so right now.  But I'm sure that the supervisors or directors of all of the affected plants have been in touch with TCEQ, so they should have some help coming.

I'll take 12 double cheeseburgers - add grilled onions and japs, 12 fries, 16 sides of special sauce and 6 banana breads.

For every dollar you donate, my law firm will donate two.

We’re looking to raise $18,000 by collecting up to $6,000 in donations to the Kerr County Relief Fund operated by the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. Go to the following link to make your donation and in the section at the end regarding “Tribute Information,” enter “Slingshot Law” and choose to notify angie@slingshotlaw.com.

Done.  Thank you for the opportunity to give something that will go directly to the community.

Based on a couple posts from yesterday, it sounds like volunteers aren’t needed at the moment? How long is that likely to be the case? I planned to drive up to help clear debris tomorrow and Thursday. Is that not recommended? If not, would it be better after a couple more days once the initial round of volunteers taps out? Any good links around where someone is posting for volunteer signup or something of the sort? I’ve sent money and supplies, but I’ve still got my body and a bunch of gear I can put to use, just don’t wanna get in the way.

Might be some advice on helping out you were looking for in the other thread, Squish:

Don't go in unless you know someone specific.
