FYI, streaming froze right before the snap. There was no watching that fucking FG on Surge. Bastards.

Dak Prescott, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory

Y’all never cease to amaze me.

That's my quarterback!

Yep. And they’ll have to win games lien this all season if they do.

it’ll be 2011-2013 Romo cowboys all over again. The offense, and QB, has to play damn near perfect and if not they’ll probably lose.

Eh, Dak played ok. Not great. Nowhere NEAR perfect.

but the Defense, ST, and WRs played way WAY WAY worse

Nah man he played better than ok.
I know you’re predisposed to not like him but that’s better then just “ok”.  I’m not saying he was great. I said they had to play damn near perfect.  Also mention the offense, not just him.

he definitely forced the ball on that INT and took a bad sack. He took 52 drop backs.  You’re going to have 1-2 not great plays.

Saw the pass rush I guess…

Also this…Dak just doesn’t lose them for whatever reason. They’re bad. Or just dumb luck.

He had a lot more than 1-2 not great plays.

if they had lost, It definitely wouldn’t have been on Dak… but dude he didn’t play “damn near perfect” either.

We are so back. If this was 7 years ago or whenever he was in his prime

He was actually still good last season. Even going from team to team. He’s a merc. Still an above average pass rusher.

Dak played better than okay.... No, not perfect, but 378 yards, 2 TDs and this in clutch time....

Or this....

Add about 60 yards in pass interference calls and this is a really nice performance.  And he willed the team to a win along with some clutch catches, a couple of nice runs, and the best kicker in the league.  Our defense is probably going to lose us 11-12 games this season.

This was the first post in this thread on a Giants message board.  I just found it funny.

That could have been from either team's fanbase, just substitute the player's name.

Fine. Dak played “pretty well” which is a long way from “damn near perfect”.

LOL.  Agreed.  Not perfect.  The Int he missed the shallower cross.  He missed a couple of Pickens that ultimately drew flags but could have been bigger plays.  But he was under heat constantly all day and completed some passes which only the really strong QBs can make.  One of those outs to CeeDee where he has to short-arm it because of pressure or he had one to Tolbert which was a crazy pass.... dropped.  We have to find a better 3 receiver and a better 2 TE in the passing game.  We're very weak outside of our 2 main WRs..... even a RB is needed.  Williams gives all his effort but he lacks explosiveness.

Clownshow signs Clowney, perfect fit.

I don't have high expectations. They probably could have gotten a younger under-the-radar no-name guy that would produce about as much. OK if he's cheap and gets some pressures now and then, can't hurt much.

Entire team needs makeover.

Again, if Dallas had managed to lose, it certainly  wouldn’t have been on Dak (barring a pick6 or similar)

We are now back to Dak needing to pass 50-60 times a game for us having a chance to win. Not a great recipe to win games.

Williams beast

But yea. Defense is hot trash
