Can you link this video. Zooming in will introduce some artifacts with the image processing. It isn't clear to me based on what I have seen that he was wearing armor. The ricochet talk I saw looked to me to be his microphone clipped to his shirt.

You might have to ask @C-Man. His post above indicates he might've been the one who originally posted it. I've tagged him so he'll see this in case he has you on ignore. I'd provide the link, but I really don't want to go digging back through all the posts from over the weekend in both threads.

I was struggling to find my glasses earlier and I was like MAGA, Utah? Wtf? Thanks for the info.

Only other notable thing about Magna is this that Kennecott mining had knowledge that its mine tailing impoundments could fail, flood the city and kill/harm a lot of folks and covered it up.  It's a shit hole.  Or at least was in 2007-2008 when I lived in SLC.

I did not post the original video. That was somebody else. The creator of the video is MAGA through and through and ended it with 90 seconds or so going through every GOP/MAGA talking point about the radical leftists and so on and so forth. But the dude was pretty certain he was wearing a very thin plate of armor and that the bullet hit the top and fragmented, part of it entering his neck.

Gawdalmighty.  Can you imagine if a perfect Surlyite ever pulled such a stunt?  The FBI would be scratching their heads over cryptic "NowThis," "muledick," "tree fiddy," and "PM Derka" references for years.  When in reality, the shooter's motivation was that Arch's shittacular performances just pushed the shooter over the edge.

Look at pics of him in a loose, white tshirt.  A plate that deflects would be a giant "Square" in the middle of his chest, similar to what you see LEO and SWAT guys wearing.  There's no mistaking it.

Seriously, why do we care if he was wearing body armor or not???

Same tactic as getting bogged down in bullet caliber/gun type discussions after a mass school shooting. Deflection from the real issues.

I took the time to watch the video. Did you? He makes a compelling argument that he was wearing something very thin that could be inconspicuous under a t-shirt. He even has what he thinks is the exact thing he was wearing. Personally, I don't give a fuck. Believe it or don't believe it. It doesn't really matter.

I'm the one who brought it up, and I'm certainly not trying to deflect. I'm pointing out that *if* he was wearing body armor, it's possible that he's been threatened before. If so, could his wearing it be chronologically tied to an event or series of events, such as an organized effort to do "war" with him? Or was there something else. It's possibly a red herring, but my intent was not to distract.

I watched.  I get his point, but you have to be able to attach and secure the plates.  To do that you need straps over the shoulder and around the waist.  Neither are evident in the pic I posted.  There are other pics from the front where you can clearly make out the contours of his chest and nipples (no kink).  The pic in the video is a cavitation effect as stated earlier.  The impact disrupts the shirt, it puffs out and down.

Or this pic.  He's slouching down.  You can see the contours of the chest.  A titanium plate would be obvious here.

Here is Nick Fuentes, of all people, breaking down how Kirk funnels the questions into predetermined arguments vs 18 year old kids that know nothing about the subject to get clicks.

I dislike Fuentes and his views but he's spot on that Kirk effectively had a cocktail party trick when it came to debating emotional college kids who lacked extreme details on a subject. Kirk had certain facts and arguments memorized and he effectively forced the most questioners down the argument tracks that he had previously crafted.

Kirk would frequently interrupt people to get them on the track he wanted. And he would shut most people down if he started to lose control of the conversation.

And in today's video clip economy, it's a very effective debating technique. And he was very good at it. I imagine that he also used this technique in conversations with leaders like Trump. I'm sure he would read the room, but he would be able to take Trump to a conclusion that Kirk wanted.

Every single political content creator (on any side) past a certain viewership threshold receives death threats. Every single one. It's not a question worth pondering.

Fair point.

Edit: Also, based on that pic above and what you're saying, I'll drop it. Evidence presented suggests: red herring. Thanks for setting me straight guys.

So we are on Day 4 now since Tyler Robinson was arrested. Where are the actual updates and evidence on motive outside of vague sources from the FBI that have trickled out to the press? What's taking so long?

You mean evidence like his DNA at the crime scene? That kind of stuff?

https://www.foxnews.com/live-news/vp-vance-host-charlie-kirk-show-memorial-arizona-9-15-2025

FBI Director Kash Patel says investigators have found DNA evidence linking alleged Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson to the scene of last week's shooting.

Patel made the statement during a Monday morning appearance on "Fox & Friends," saying the suspect's DNA was found on a screwdriver as well as a towel that was wrapped around the firearm believed to have been used in the shooting.

"I can report today that the DNA hits from the towel that was wrapped around the firearm and the DNA on the screwdriver are positively processed for the suspect in custody," Patel said.

Authorities say Robinson jumped off of a roof before fleeing Utah Valley University's campus moments after the shooting. They say he then ran through a patch of woods into a nearby neighborhood, leaving the towel-wrapped firearm in the woods.

Robinson is currently under "special watch" with authorities in Utah. Police say he has not been cooperating during interviews.

Who are you and what did I ask for?

You made a stink about Brisket paraphrasing Kirk's speech as if he had the intent to mischaracterize Kirk's actual words. I provided several direct quotations of Kirk's speech, including a video to corroborate Brisket's characterizations. You then went silent.

Oh, ok. I made a stink about him saying “Period, hard stop” and writing 1000 words of opinions. No?

Thanks for the apology. I am asking for evidence about motive, not whether he is the suspect or not.

Does Tyler Robinson not have a cell phone? Did he wipe it? Did they not find any evidence on his phone to help with motive? Forgive me for not believing this administration is showing patience or institutional restraint by not releasing this info yet.

I’m sure he has a phone. I’ve read a few places that Robinson is not cooperating. I think it’s fairly difficult to for authorities to access an iPhone without passcode, etc…..

The part that really sticks out to me is that the report at the time he was identified said that the FBI had spoken to the dad and to the roommate, and that the roommate showed the FBI the Discord server that showed the perp talking about the gun (or something to that effect). If the roommate was trans and a romantic partner to the shooter, and the motiviation was in support of the trans lover/roommate, why would that person cooperate with the FBI to get him caught? Why didn't the initial report indicate this pretty key peice of evidence re motive? It really does not add up, at all, especially since it's obvious what the administration would prefer with respect to motive. If they had evidence of this connection, the FBI would have had a full dog and pony show about it by now.

Lol. No its not. This is the FBI. They got in that phone and didn't find the narrative they wanted. You think this admin hasn't thrown the full weight at this? FBI? NSA? Come on friend. Its silent for a reason.

Because some people (the dad and roommate) don’t like murder? You know loved ones cooperate with murdered investigations all the time right?

So is the trans roomate/lover the hero of this story? Or is trans ideology evil and to blame? I'm confused (because none of that bullshit makes any sense).

I don’t know that I would call turning in your partner or roommate into the police for murder makes you a hero or a villain, I think it just makes you a normal person.

I think the roommate didn't do anything more than cooperate fully with the authorities when they arrived at the door to their apartment. The roommate showed them the Discord messages, I believe.

Way to not answer the question. Do you think trans people are bad? Do you think trans ideology (whatever the fuck that is) is to blame? If not, then who gives a flying fuck if the roommate is trans? I think you know this whole story is bullshit. Dude was pissed off internet troll and did some real-life trolling. That is all there is to his motive.

They have apparently been expelled from Tech

I know this is going to come as a shocker. But Abbott is incorrect.

The video of this shows her touching the guys cap, it is pretty weak sauce, but apparently they arrested her for assault based on that. It probably technically meets the legal requirement for assault, but again weak shit.

You're basing that on the massive dipshit who ran with WE HAVE A SUSPECT IN CUSTODY of the day of the shooting only to have to rechant. The story is also wrong if they live in the same apartment.

'The note was written before the shooting, it was in the suspect's partner's home,' Patel added.

If it was destroyed, why is the roommate/partner not being charged with obstruction and destroying evidence. Why is that person not charged as an accessory? I'm sorry if I don't fully buy anything that comes out of that incredibly unqualified person's mouth.

It also contradicts this statement by the Governor:

'The roommate was a romantic partner, a male transitioning to female,' Cox said. 'I can say that he has been incredibly cooperative, this partner has been very cooperative, had no idea that this was happening.'
