Tired of hearing the receivers suck.  Every team seems to have plays to get players open.  Sark got pissy when a reporter asked him about the playbook last week.  Maybe he should get angry at himself and hood staff and stop sniffing his own farts.

The receivers are fine. It’s the QB that is the problem.

I don’t think we have a great qb or great wr’s. We have a mid qb, mid wr’s and a shitty o-line.

it’s crazy to see how slow we look on offense this year across the board, we have zero big time playmakers.

I wish he was mid.

No worries, that record will be broken again this Saturday. Of course half of them may be against Caldwell after Arch is carted off the field.

Can someone tell me just what QB could be successful behind this OL with a coach calling nothing but long pass plays??

I bet OU beats that number this Saturday. Every team we face is going to blitz the fuck out of this line.

I don't think they will.  Florida was getting home rushing four against our 5 + tight end.

The coaching was certainly bad, but sure would like to have seen the defense come out right away and hit people hard. They could have done that. Instead, Florida came out with fire in their eyes and hit Texas in the mouth and Texas never recovered.

It was sickening to see Simmons talking smack to Lagway who was out there on one leg and a bum arm or shoulder and took care of business anyway. He was a totally one-dimensional quarterback who couldn't run or scramble and he still played his ass off. Florida never trailed after that first drive. That fumble on the first play of the game and they got it back set the tone for the rest of the game.

Simmons should talk more with his play on the field and less with his mouth, when Texas is being totally outplayed.

The defense is struggling with the apparent significant downgrade in interior DL capability.  It obviously plays out with how bad we get gashed at times by a decent running game, but the quickest way to fuck a QB is for the DL to get push up the middle (even if they don't get home), freeing somebody like Simmons to do what he does when the QB can't step forward and either has to start moving in his direction or is still at that spot deep in the pocket where DEs sort of naturally rush to.

Caldwell has performed excellent whenever given the opportunity. Is the fear of a QB controvery holding Sark back. It may be good for both players and the team if Caldwell is given some reps for a change of pace \m/

I still assumed we'd win a dogfight in this game with a wounded team, at home, coach on the hot seat, Lagway playing Texas.

the high(saved our corch!) is probably over and they will go back to being Florida again against competent teams.  Wilson will help but i expect they get drilled next week and Lagway will probably get hurt. It was amazing watching a gimpy QB just torch us with no pressure at all from our D.
