It’s 5 fucking yards. Roll him out and tell him to run if the first option isn’t there. This isn’t that hard.

Im not desperate for shit. I’ve said he’s bad many times. That doesn’t mean we should just force him to do things he isn’t cut out to do. There are things he can do, we don’t do them.

Yes and do you trust him to make the right decision?   I don’t. Neither does sark I bet.

he’ll wait to long to run.  Or throw it to the ground in front of his guy or maybe throw a rocket 5 yards that is uncatchable

Yeah I don't understand why he won't take off today. Not like our fucking season is on the line.

When Arch was a backup, Sark didn't mind the risk of running him in certain packages. Now that he's starting, it's as if the risk is too great. I absolutely didn't anticipate that coming into the season. With a porous OL, it's past time to unshackle those legs.

BETTER NOT LOSE TO A QB WITH A FUCKED UP THUMB.

SARK AREADY LOST TO A BACKUP QB IN A  CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

SERIOUSLY FUCK THIS GUY.

Wisner knows he doesn’t have Bolden to recover his fumbles and covered up the ball when he got chased down. Growth. lol

it is really sad we don't have a running back that can house that, that plays.  my god.

Ole piss just keeps getting badass QBs man fuck

maybe the got the real qb whisperer and we got the brokeback mountain version, causing our qbs to pucker up.

We’ve had that too. We can’t hit them due to no time in the pocket or the QB missing them.  The would be TD was one.

There are 100+ college QBs that could have made that play. But @hobbes2702 says we shouldn't run the wide open touch down play because Arch can run kind of. He is going to have to learn to execute those plays to ever become a legit D1 QB.

True or false:  we’d be undefeated and ahead in this game if we had started Matthew Caldwell all year.  It’s unknowable, but I suspect the answer is true.

Think it’s 90% offensive line and playcalling

Do you trust him more with a single read and run option or an 8 yard drop play action. It’s not an all or nothing. Put players in positions to make plays.

Texas has figured out this game ever since they got rid of Mack Brown. We haven't gotten blown out since 2012. We either win or we barely lose in a close game, even if we don't have a good team that year.

Florida was a loss no matter what.

There are. Ours can’t. So why run it? Seriously are you fucking retarded?

I wait with bated breath the 3rd quarter adjustments that Sark makes. If it holds to form the first drive in 2H will have a false start and a hold combo to deliver a three and out.

If we don't think he will ever learn to run it, we shouldn't be playing him at all. If we think he can learn to run it, we have to run it in game and give him the chances.

I would like to point out that the OL has been not great but the biggest issue is inexperienced penalties on Brooks. The kind of thing that playing him more against the 3 straight crap teams would have helped with.

But even still it has not been the absolute complete dumpster fire it's been all year with Stroh playing. OU is a good defense.

That involved turning his back to the field and dropping straight back. Seriously why are you pretending you don’t understand this very simple concept.

There is zero chance we win the game last week with caldwell. Arch actually played a good game, but the offensive line gave up a historically bad pressure rate.

The real question is are we 4-1 if Nick Brooks and Robertson started every game.

Or we should try to win the game and run the plays that have chances to work

I think arch is more than 10% honestly.

The truth?  No. I don’t trust him at all right now.

has he shown you anything this year to trust him? I’m not trying to rail on the guy. I do think the OL and Sark is a bigger issue today and last week.

but I do not think Arch has it right now.  Might not this year. We’ll have to see if he gets better.

You’re forgetting run up the middle, run up the middle, RB screen, punt.

It is hilarious he is going to be 2-2 to Vegetables.

Assuming Sark is saving this.  OU will get aggressive and Arch will win on a long run.  Mark it down.

Again, if Arch is capable of learning that play, we have to run it. If he isn't, we shouldn't play him at all. I don't understand why that concept eludes you.

Wisner had 7 carries for 37 yards after that 34 yard run.

Our running plays are blocked for 6 inches and our running backs get us exactly 6 inches.

Defense needs to continue the pressure. The pain. Hitting Mateer every single chance we can.  Every single pop on the hand.  Without getting gassed.

offense I have no answer for. It’s just beyond fucked.  OU needs to make a mistake

d) not enough information given.

This OL is so bad I don't think we can "solve" the offense with any other measures.  Maybe a Bijan.

What’s y’all’s non-emotional critical thinking on the offense so far?

Who's to blame for no production? (Ducks)

we have a poor line with poor discipline and fundamentals. Arch doesnt think all the time
