I was not familiar with a Jeep Trackhawk.  Looked it up, and it has a 707 hp Hellcat engine.  No driver his age should be entrusted with such a machine, in my opinion.
If the other car was an Explorer it wasnt even really a race.

ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia took an intentional delay of game penalty on the first play of its G-Day spring game in honor of Chandler LeCroy and Devin Willock, the recruiting staff member and player who were killed in a car wreck in Athens in January.

The Bulldogs only lined up with no left guard on offense for the first play, and players took their helmets off to pay tribute to Willock and LeCroy and hugged one another after the penalty.

Lulz. An intentional delay of game at a spring game is a powerful moment, indeed. The athletic department is still gonna get the  fuck sued out of it.

I was wondering what the "10 to 9" comment on another thread meant, lol. UGA has always been a nasty fan base.

You wouldn't believe what they said about Bryant when he died.

Yeah, real nasty to say “10 to 9”. Meanwhile, bama fans killing people over games. Worst fans in CFB

The full article was pasted in the Texas recruiting thread. I copied the below and decided to see if there was a thread over here.

The University of Georgia and athletic association consider any allegation of sexual assault or domestic abuse to be a very serious matter, and we take swift and appropriate action in response to allegations when warranted by law enforcement or internal investigations,” the statement said. “This policy is applied universally across our university community to students, student-athletes, staff and personnel. Student-athletes are subject to the exact same disciplinary process as other students, and in addition, face further athletic program disciplinary measures, which can include suspension and dismissal from the team.”

Coaches did not rescind Jarrett’s scholarship because the police did not charge him, the athletic association said. However, coaches and association leaders had been unaware that Jarrett consumed alcohol and broke curfew, the statement said. Such violations of athletic association policies “could be subject to penalties,” the association added, without elaboration.

Fuck these guys. Big time.

I'm waiting for the Texas Rangers to conclude their investigation into Baylor any minute now. I'm sure the GBI will be just as diligent.

The status of wome is taking some hits the last few decades. I have no doubt what will follow from fans and neaderthals is that the women are all gold diggers operating in a money grab.

Disgusting. When the system protects the predators from prey, the system needs to be brought down root and branch.

Baylor and Georgia should be nuked from orbit. Many times.

If the GA AG is an alumnus of UGA, maybe he’ll be just as diligent as (impeached) Texas AG and Baylor alum Paxton has been.

Christ almighty can no one in Athens affiliated with the Bulldog football program drive within the speed limit and maintain control of the vehicle?

Georgia staff member arrested on reckless driving, speeding charges

Quote

Georgia football coaching staff member Jarvis Jones was arrested on charges of reckless driving and speeding less than 24 hours before the two-time defending champion Bulldogs' season opener.

Jones, a former All-American linebacker at Georgia who played four seasons for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is the Bulldogs' player connection coordinator under coach Kirby Smart. Athens-Clarke County Police arrested Jones, Friday night, on misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and speeding-maximum limits.

He was released on $2,400 bond.

"There will be internal discipline," said Smart when asked about the arrest on Monday. "It's a personnel matter and I can't comment further on it."

Georgia, which has won back-to-back national titles, opened its season on Saturday night with a 48-7 win over UT Martin.

At least a dozen Bulldogs players have been charged with moving violations since the team won the championship in January.

In July, defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins and outside linebacker Samuel M'Pemba were cited for speeding.

The night of Georgia's championship celebration, on Jan. 15, offensive lineman Devin Willock and staff member Chandler LeCroy were killed in a car wreck in which police alleged that former defensive lineman Jalen Carter was racing them.

LeCroy's SUV was traveling more than 100 mph when it left the road and slammed into power poles and trees.
