The Hot Deals Thread

Recommended Posts

I have a one time use $15 off coupon for a google home mini at the google store. Good till Nov. 12th. Normal price is $50, so this makes it $35. I have one and it's been pretty great. The speaker is 'ok' for playing music, and I use it in the morning to about the weather, if it will rain, and who won the game last night.

REI ad came in the mail today today with the 20% off any item and another for 20% any outlet item.  I think they're available online too, REI members only.  It's not Black Friday level savings but it's worth a ton if you're shopping for something high end at REI.

Jumping in thread to keep an eye out for upcoming TV deals. Looking for a couple TV's. A 55' and 65'. Don't need to be latest and greatest but a decent quality at a good price to last a few years.

I know less about TV's than just about anyone here.  But if you're looking for decent quality at a good price and not amazing trick shit, can't you just go to costco?

For those of you looking for deals on electronics, I recommend that you sign up for Fry's e-mail promotions.  I believe they e-mail you an extra discount code when you sign up that you can stack with their already heavily discounted deal of the day.

If it was mid-August, yes, I would just go to Costco. But I'm think there will be more deals to consider with Black Friday sales.

I just went to Costco this morning (1st day of their coupon ad) and bought a 50” Samsung 6 Series 4K 120 hz. motion rate  smartass TV for $330 plus tax. Their usual price is $400.

Now to get the grandkid to set it up for us in the living room where it’s replacing the 2007 Panasonic 42” plasma 720p.

That 2007 plasma is a flyweight compared to the 2006 42” in my man cave. That one weighs in at 80 lbs. - but this new 50” Samsung must be not much over 35 lbs.  It wasn’t difficult at all for me to wrestle it out of the back seat of the car & into the house.

Great pictures still on the old sets. Am giving the 2007 Panasonic to the grandson to use in his upstairs bedroom in the new condo he bought. Good enough for midnight porn.

Bring on black friday....

I always spend more than I should but occasionally find great deals.  I'm good on the usual great discounts like TVs and other electronics.

I'll be looking to spend a gamestop gift card for trading in a ps4 a while back.  PS4 games, PSVR set and/or steering wheel.

Probably be looking for a riflescope (academy has a Nikon for $100 off down to $119, but I bet there will be some other higher end scopes with big discounts elsewhere).

I really don't know what else to shop for this year, but that won't stop me from browsing.

I want a drone. Hopefully they have decent deals

Me too actually.

I have been watching a ton of YT videos, and I think the DJI Spark is for me with the range and features.  Sams seems to have the best deal right now, $399 with an extra battery.  They can be found for $349 if that isnt important.

That is what a few coworkers have. I have messed around with it on some work trips when bored and really like it.

Probably late to the game but just figured out I can login to my Best Buy account and get the Black Friday deals now online, at least the one I wanted. Just ordered a ring pro with that ring chime thing and a free echo dot for $180. Will pick it up in store on my way home from work. No word yet on if I will be able to procure tit picks after installation

Is the is Black Friday thread?  Seems slower than I’m used to.

Looking to stick a 50-55” tv in our rental house for under $250. Any worthwhile deals out there?  Could also use a single unit washer dryer.

sceptre 50" model at walmart for $199 (amazon for reviews)

or sceptre 55" 4k at walmart for $239 (amazon)

or hisense 55" 4k roku at walmart for $248 (in store only and they've been on sale since 6 pm)

i'd suggest that you get a roku set if you don't have cable run out there already.

I’ve been looking at that for my nephew who’s into trains and I just saw that it’s on Amazon as a deal of the day right now for $66.31.

146 pounds hanging on my wall on a big ass articulating wall mount.  Funny thing was going through 2 defective sets until landing on this one that is still jamming since 2009.  $7500 hot deal.

How does Hulu stop current subscribers from just resubscribing with a different email address and credit card?  $12/yr vs $96.  I guess the credit card address can be compared.
