  2. Yay, I got to respond to a poll. I'm a Republican that voted for Trump who wants removal. They asked me about and Cornyn and Abbott too. Told them Abbott's political posturing on not accepting refugees was a scare tactic and that I no longer support Cornyn due to carrying the President's water. Voting for MJ Hegar Also told them I'm voting Biden in the primary and general election.

  10. The entire premise of the Whitewater investigation never even pretended to be a defense of fair elections or our democratic institutions and devolved into a fishing expedition of even less relevant issues relating to the public interest. According to Volume 2 of the Mueller Report and Robert Mueller's own public testimony, Donald Trump, under oath and with the help of his lawyers, failed an open book take home test regarding a foreign authoritarian government's interference in our democratic elections. The "nearly equally partisan" Democrats declined even an attempt to impeach him on that. They declined to even investigate him for the same circumstances that ended John Edward's campaign and got him indicted. The president fucking a porn star and conspiring with the press to kill the story during an election campaign doesn't even get the sleepy Democratic hound dog off the porch. Corroborating sworn affidavits testifying Trump raped and threatened the life of a 13 year-old? Nope. Emoluments? Lol. Stop.

  11. As Sydney Carton’s day working finally ended, he was so excited to get home. He knew his baby was there waiting for him, and that after a commute back to the home he had built he would be able to see the one he loved so much. However, he had been so productive during the day he had a few minutes to himself to check in on his favorite hobby, Texas recruiting. Sydney had connections and was knowledgable, so he enjoyed being able to see who was next for his beloved Longhorns. As he was searching for the latest information on Alfred Collins, he noticed one of the recruiting writers he follows said something about his personal life. “Man, what a chump,” he wondered aloud. “Look at this guy complimenting his wife!” Sydney grabbed his tin of Skoal blueberry, ready to buzz on the ride home. But he still couldn’t kick the thought of Roach calling his wife hot as he spit into his La Croix can. Sure, it wasn’t that weird for someone to compliment their significant other, but something stuck out about it. He ignored it as he went home, thinking about how soon he could see his wonderful spouse. He walks in the door and receives a warm embrace. “How was work,” was the question. “Oh, fine,” Sydney responded, “but something outside of work caught my eye.” His spouse looked perplexed. “This guy who covers recruiting called his wife hot! Can you believe that! What in the hell?” Sydney and his spouse sat through a silent dinner. His significant other could tell he was struggling. Bedtime came, and finally, Sydney’s significant other could hold her tongue no longer. “Do you think I’m hot, Sydney?” He was flabbergasted. “Of course! Why do you ask?” Tears rolled down his sweetheart’s face. “I’m just lucky enough to have someone as great as you in my life.” Sydney was awestruck by the moment in front of him. He realized he was so lucky, but also realized it was time to get ready to sleep to be prepared for the next day. “I love you, Sydney,” his wife said Sydney responded. ”I love you too, CTJ.”

  15. It's not so much of betting on getting 2/3 of the Senate to vote for removal as it is 1) Getting as much Republican absurdity on the record 2) Letting the GOP know there is no light at the end of the tunnel. The leader of your cult knows no other way than to give the finger to the law. There is no "if we just get through this, we are home free!" No you're not. You're simply one more step down the wrong fork and it's not going to end.

  19. I don't give one fuck if somebody is a perceived transfer risk. They're all a transfer risk. Do you think a player could be a cancer? If so, I care about that. Shepherd can happily go fuck himself and wind up hanging out on his momma's front porch in North Forest sipping lean and eating cheetos for the next 40 years in obscurity. I say that not because he transferred, but because he proved himself to be an unworthy piece of shit while on campus. So fuck off. Is that what people think Umanlymannishman is as a comp? I don't. That's lazy thinking. I don't see a ton of similarities. Umanly doesn't seem to have a handler, he isn't constantly sending mixed signals, and he doesn't seem like a complete turd. Maybe he does have character issues, as referenced earlier, but his current behavior isn't an example of that. He looks like a guy trying to convince himself to actually come to Texas versus the opposite of that. Makes sense to me. Anyone flatly worrying about him as a take should take up a new hobby, like becoming a Brony or something, because maybe this whole recruiting thing isn't for you. Umanlymannishmahanistaman has a higher likelihood of being a productive player at a key position than flaming out.

  23. INTRODUCTION: In this experiment, the goal was to determine how many questions the Subject (my wife) would ask in a given day. HYPOTHESIS: It will be more than I imagine but no number will surprise. My responses will not have any impact on the subject. ENVIRONMENT: Tester will do nothing to influence the subject to ask more or less questions. Tester will answer/not answer in normal fashion. Experiment to be conducted on the day of leaving Nashville and returning to Home Base (4 hours travel time) and will start at 6am and end upon lights out, whenever that may be . Tester sets the O/U at 51.5 questions. Sixty Two. 62. She asked 62 fucking questions. (In a row?) Well, sort of. I'm not sure I said 62 words all day long. Plus, she slept for 2 hours on the car. And I had to take a 2 hour nap when we got home. Next time, I will count how many times I answer "I don't know". Any other suggestions for the next stage of this experiment?

  26. This is irresponsible bullshit. Princely is a good prospect and could be a meaningful contributor in year 3 or 4. For me, that's probably his ceiling. Off the field, he's being judged by his twitter interactions and decommitment, neither of which warrant being called "this years Javonne Shephard" for fucks sake. Is Princely a portal risk? Maybe. Is he a risk to drop a 0.0 and negative recruit prospects? I would ask you to show me that evidence, because I haven't seen it.

  27. There was period of 3-6 mins or so in the 2nd half when we made a run, worked the ball inside, and showed energy and movement on offense. It was when Williams, Kai/Hamm/Sims, Coleman and Ramey were on the floor. The team was actually playing recognizably decent offense during that stint and we jumped to 10 points ahead. We even full court pressed some and got at least two turnovers and a couple fast break baskets. For reasons unknown, Shaka then chose to pull Williams and the 2nd big and go 4 guards for the rest of the game and go with with AJ and Febres as the forwards. TCU had their way on the boards and inside to tie the game. AJ and Febres were pathetic on defense. Had it not been for two VERY long 3-pointers as the shot clock was expiring by Febres (which were prayers that were answered despite shitty, standing around offense) this game would've been a loss. The last play we ran (ending in a shot clock violation) was horrific, as was the fact that we didn't at least do offense/defense subbing at the end to get some better defenders than AJ and Febres in the game. I believe our best line-up is Coleman, Ramey, Williams, Hepa/Kai/Hamm, and Sims. AJ and Febres can bring a spark, but neither are guys you want defending when the game is one the line and they tend to stagnate the offense when they are on the court for more than a couple minutes at a time. Plugging AJ or Febres into the traditional PF spot on defense is laughable. Williams needs lots of minutes from here out to get acclimated. I was over the Febres as bell-cow experiment last year. Even when he hits 5 threes, he commonly allows at least that many points due to soft defense, fouls, and put-backs by the guy he's supposed to be boxing out. He's a 10-minute a game guy who you might allow 15-20 mins if he is playing really well.

  32. 1st-Team All-ACC OL Parker Braun and Cal RB Tre Watson both say hi. The difficulty is, standard transfers eat a roster spot for a year, which we hopefully can put to better use. Grad transfers are uniquely difficult at Texas, because UT's grad programs actually have standards. We either have to take kids from academically-inclined schools (like Georgia Tech or Berkeley), or kids with immaculate records at more average ones (for example Hand is looking at Rutgers' starting center, who was Academic First-Team All-Big-Ten his whole career). As for JUCOs, Herman has no problem taking them, he's taken a few every year. The problem is, the talented ones like Mitchell, Caleb Johnson, or Jacoby Jones, usually went JUCO for a reason beyond football. You have to price in some risk.
