Looks like it's happening. He immediately becomes the second highest ranked recruit of the 2021 class. See below, from Super K:9 points

I think it will be a vibranium based set of wings so they're indestructible and maybe the power absorption properties of the BP suit on his new uniform. There's no way Sam can take on super soldiers without better tech as we know he wouldn't take the serum if it still existed. I know some don't enjoy the writing but I like this show because it specifically dives into what the shield and Cap might mean to different Americans. That may be "woke" but I think Marvel has tried to branch out a bit and tell stories from a non-white perspective, something you really only got in the past in the comics with Black Panther stories. The Isaiah Bradley portion and the Truth comics are great because they twist something that happened in real life (Tuskegee experiments) and apply them to a world where super heroes and the desire to make more exist. The Cap movies outside of the First Avenger aren't rah rah America movies though even in that one he strives to not just be a tool for propaganda and to actually make a difference with his abilities. They show a dark side of American institutions (like Shield wanting WMDs) versus Cap who was incredibly principled. The show has done a really good job of showing through Sam and John Walker the divergent paths of PTSD. Sure there's some hamfisted moments in the writing but so do the comics they're based on. I think Disney+ should've run this show first because a lot of people are comparing it to WandaVision which is pretty unfair given each is going for two totally different audiences.9 points

Pausing j&j was fucking dumb. It... A) will prolong the pandemic, especially in rural america where getting two shots is a lot more difficult B ) adds fuel to the "vaccines aren't safe" crowd C) Will kill more people due to getting covid because they aren't vaccinated than they will because they developed blood clots7 points

Why the fuck are any of those people even bothering to get vaccinated then? People who think this should drag on forever until we have zero cases are insane and can go fuck themselves.6 points

PR is how you get the settlement number up and the threat of going to trial down. Dog vs Cat One dies in all movies, C&W songs, and books. The other is undefeated.6 points

I realize that the UT 9.95ers would have done the same, but it is hilarious to me that one of those former Verizon store assistant managers turned OU 247 recruiting analysts was sitting in line at Burger King getting dinner at 11:00 at night after dropping his kids off at his ex-wife’s house and sees a squad of cops surround and pull out an OU player at gunpoint. Then he confirms the story with the cop and decides to sit on out of “respect for the team” even though it’s inevitable it will be out in 12 hours. Just sitting in his car eating chicken fries while wearing a visor with Oakleys on top pondering the dilemma of breaking the story and pretending to be a big time connected reporter but then getting frozen out by his only source on the teams training staff. But then he’s proud of himself because he decides to be loyal to the school he never went to and the program/players that have no idea who he is.5 points

I see all gods children in my practice. With my patients, resistance to covid vaccine cuts across all political religious and ethnic lines. I’ve stopped trying to guess because it’s so random who is anti vax. And some that are all about their flu vaccine won’t get the Covid.5 points

The most interesting thing other than the Bijan run (which we will get into later) that happened this last week is that WE FINALLY SOLVED THE MYSTERY. We figured out who Steve Sarkisian looks like. Blammo, we can not put it to bed. I know it has been bothering Longhorn Fans all over the world ever since Sark was announced to be the new HFC at the Great University of Texas. Back to your regularly scheduled badassery. Check this run out. If this doesn't get the blood pumping to your special parts, then you don't like longhorn football and you can now close out the article, because what we are about to talk about is only for those willing to enter the Burnt Orange Cathedral that Bijan and Co. are building. Bijan Robinson is the truth, he cuts on turf like a tarpon darts through the shallows off the coast. He is truly in his element on the field and it's going to be something special to watch in the upcoming season. But wait, this grown ass man would like a word: RoJo should still starts - he isn't RB2 at this point, due to his incredible physicality and gift for creating yards where there are none to be had. There will be a true 2 headed monster coming out of the Texas Backfield this Fall and it's going to be glorious. I almost forgot in all the excitement to talk about SCHOOLER switching to safety. Yep, you heard that right - he is officially moving away from WR and moving to Safety for the '21 season. I mean check out these 2 mean ass dudes, BJ Foster and Kitan Crawford - these dudes look ready to shut down anything coming their way. With that we get into pure and rampant speculation because we have absolutely dick to go off of as far as film, or anything else. The 9.95ers got the opportunity for some media availability with Sark, Okafor and Gbenda. All completely worthless information given in all the interviews. Sark's summary could be - he's not bummed about what he sees and thinks that the team is responding well to his regime and the way they do things. Okafor's summary could be - I want Casey to starts, I like to play football, the NFL may be a thing for me now that I don't have a completely shit coach after having 4 OL coaches in his time here through 3 regimes. Gbenda's summary could be - You all know I'm not as good as some of the great linebackers, but I'm trying to be real good. We had a CTJ sighting, basically giving us all a glimpse into how we need to feel going into next season: and with that we have basically ended the week knowing absolutely nothing more than we knew last week. Things around the program and with the players definitely feel much different than past years. Maybe...just maybe we will get a glimpse of some real footage when All Access returns on the 23rd, right before the spring game on the 24th! I'll again leave you with my current mood. Reminds me of when I coached T-ball. Husband and wife were sitting near enough for my wife to hear and she told me about this conversation that night: Wife : I just don't feel like Junior is getting to play as much as the other kids. Husband : He plays second base and there are 9 kids on the team. Wife : I know he plays 2nd, But he doesn't bat as much Husband : There's 9 kids on the team. Wife : So. He doesn't get to bat as much. Husband : There are nine fucking kids on the team. Do you see anyone sitting in the god damn dugout? He bats freaking 5th. He gets plenty of at bats.. Jesus... Next week I pulled him out to be the 3rd base coach. Pretty sure he was grateful about that5 points

I can confirm that this is true according to my anonymous sources. The underlying reason is even more miraculous. Malcolm Epps had been diagnosed with narcolepsy by the previous staff. As everyone who has watched Epps play can attest, this has affected his aggression and blocking ability. The new staff has decided to take a more unconventional approach. They have synchronized Spring practices to coincide with Epps sleeping episodes (this is the actual reason for the delay in practices, not covid). This is where it gets interesting: the new staff found out that Epps also had violent nightmares while having a narcoleptic episode. Says one former anonymous player, "[Bleep] dude, when that mother[Bleeper] is asleep it's like that kung fu movie where Kareem Abdul Jabbar fights Bruce Lee". (said my anonymous source Juwan Mitchell, remember to delete sources name later) Says one anonymous coach, "Uh yea, we just have one of the players on offense walk him to his place on the line. When Bijan runs behind Epps when he starts to flail, it usually goes for a touchdown." Well, there you have it, this confirms what Kirk Johnson has been telling me during his what should have been stellar career. -- Chip Brown5 points

Seeing "Austin" up there is very cool. I know this is not a big 4 league in this country but it's still a little surreal. A lot of kids that grew up here including myself dreamed that we'd have SOMETHING like this someday.4 points

He didn’t need to be perfect that night. In a perfect world would Lil’ Homicide would be home in bed by 10 after doing his homework. What he needed to not do is be out at 3 am running around with a gun in a dark alley. And then instead of tossing the gun behind fence outside the view of the cop, drop it down on the ground where the cop could see it. This cop did nothing wrong. But go ahead and keep Monday morning quarterbacking from freeze frames on your computer.4 points

y’all ‘member when GR tried to convince everyone he was a physician early in the Covid thread? despite it being patently obvious he wasn’t a doctor, he steadfastly kept lying. cuz i ‘member... he’s just piece of shit with an inferiority complex...probably has a micropeen. he’s the rare guy that you laugh at humiliatingly while simultaneously pitying. he’s certainly not worth anyone’s anger.4 points
