It could be improved for sure. Unfortunately the NFL is likely handcuffed by the CBA and their desire for money above all else. Wrong. Having the right antibodies in sufficient amounts is most important. Wrong. Studies have already proven that antibodies in individuals that have had the vaccine are higher in number and more varied to provide better protection against different mutations than those naturally occurring due to an infection. Studies so far have shown that naturally infected bodies only produce a single antibody that the body finds effective, and no others. Vaccinated folks generate multiple antibodies. You're welcome to join a UT study on antibodies, if you're inclined to be helpful to the community. Wrong. Studies have proven over and over again that masks reduce the spread of the virus. The CDC, WHO, FDA, public health officials, immunologists, all agree. Only a few nut-jobs that make tons of money by hawking crap or getting Youtube revenue by bilking conspiracy theorists are still peddling this bullshit. Wrong. Holy shit, this might be the craziest shit you wrote in this steaming pile of de-wormed horse manure. Over 5 Billion doses of the vaccine have been administered worldwide. 5 Billion. Read that again. 5 Billion. Adverse events are generally limited to mild fever, body aches, and headache. Blood clots from the J&J vaccine occurred in 28 people out of 9 million. The adverse effects are so overblown. If you're referring to VAERS - OMG that hysteria is laughable. Pointing to VAERS as evidence of potential negative effects of vaccines (you do realize there are 3 vaccines, not just 1, right?), is akin to Aggy pointing at an internet poll as proof that they are the best football team in the NCAA. VAERS is the medical version of an online opinion poll. It is. However, it's also their prerogative to not play in the NFL. It's also their prerogative to be refused service indoors, where their personal choice starts to affect other people. Schools have long insisted on vaccines because they are safe, effective, and protect the public. This is no different. Wrong. God damn, I thought you had spewed some stupid shit above, but I severely misunderestimated your intelligence. Wrong. The 75% in Singapore was the percent of people testing positive. I'm too lazy to look up Israel. The hospitalization rate was way lower than that because the vaccine makes a huge impact in reducing the effects. Yes. Because antibodies wear off over time. And because self-centered assholes refused to help out the greater good by getting the vaccine, and are thus prolonging this shit even further. Please let us know what kind of "doctor" you are and where you practice, so that I can inform all of my friends and family to stay as far away as possible. You've got to be a troll, right? You can't with a straight face tell me that 1. You believe in mandates, when you've already declared medical decisions to be a personal choice. 2. You seriously recommend shoving a drug - that's main function is to battle parasites - up peoples' assholes. 3. That a drug untested for fighting this virus is potentially better than one studied, evaluated, and managed by the largest group of scientific experts in history. When sold for human consumption, it's generally safe. But, the morons - who have proven time and again that their only real commitment is to shun real science and experts at all costs - are willing to negatively impact themselves and society by going to feed stores to get quantities dosed for livestock and give it to themselves, causing liver damage and tons of emergency calls to posion control centers. All because they've dug in and entrenched themselves in a worldview that thinks that public health organizations, immunologists, scientific experts and doctors all have some giant agenda other than the public health - so they're willing to do anything and everything other than what the experts recommend. Wrong. There was 1 trial that was plagiarized and had falsified data, that had to be withdrawn. Here's an actual scientific study that shows ivermectin was ineffective against covid, and that "Patients who received ivermectin required invasive MVS earlier in their treatment". Ah yes. Here's the conspiracy theory part where you get to say "Big pharma is trying to keep the drug away from us to make more money with something else". Of course that's what's going on. Right. One doctor in Tokyo. One. And while he's influential, he's also not not suggesting that it's a for-sure cure. He suggested doing trials, and seeing if it's effective. Sure. Try it. But it's main purpose is to treat the effects of the virus, not to eradicate it from the body, or suppress it's transmission, or any of the other things that the vaccine does to help. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. The TLDR is that, like Beasley, you're a moron that doesn't understand science and is more interested in denying science and expertise to the detriment of possibly yourself and definitely society. Sorry for Cloak Rooming it up, but Jesus Christ, the amount of disinformation and asshattery in this post was ridiculous.37 points

In case y'all were wondering what kind of mega genius we're dealing with here, @alphahorn has himself a blog, where I found out that not only is he a super-doctor, but he's also a legendary investment banker too. Not too often you meet a Columbia MBA Grad/Doctor that has worked at Smith Barney, First Boston, Merck, Pfizer, and also took time to develop his own trading system in his spare time. In other news, I think my $50 is safe.19 points

Doc is off here if that is truly what he said to you. People "on the left" (which, btw, means anyone not fucking willfully ignorant) are pissed that DeSantis is actively trying to kill his population. If he pushed the need for vaccines (much less didn't actively work AGAINST THEM) he wouldn't have to push Regeneron. Also, the same 'people on the left' tend to listen to doctor recommended treatments, which is why (hippies aside) they tend to be vaccinated in higher numbers in the first fucking place. Glad your brother is going to make it. But 'people on the left' didn't politicize this thing.16 points

On a positive note: My friend the EMT from Atlanta went outside and walked to her mailbox for the first time since Memorial Day. She didn't have the option of getting vaccinated when she caught it last Sept through making runs. She has been in and out the hospital 6 times since then. But today was a good day, and I hope to hell she doesn't catch another bronchial episode, because I doubt she'd have a bed available. There wasn't any disability check either, though she's been eligible since June 1. And of course now she can be evicted. But we've been keeping her rent and car payment current, so there's that. Just so fucking irritating to watch these fuckers go on about their freedoms and not have any awareness what it is costing everyone else. And on top of that, the idea that some fucker can get a PPP loan and buy a Lambo long before she can get her much needed disability check. And before some dick says bootstraps, she was working double shifts in Apr/May that wore her down and made her susceptible to this latest round. Sorry, I got good news, but needed to vent. Still a long row to hoe on this one, but much better than 2 months ago.15 points

Stop it. You've seen dozens of studies by now showing the correlation, as clear as day, that the most obvious predictor of vaccination status is who you supported in the 2020 election. So at this point you're purposely choosing to downplay it and point fingers elsewhere. Blacks (13% of the population), after a slow start, currently have higher vaccination rates than Trump voters. The true, lifelong anti-vaxxers are a tiny segment of the population. The overwhelming majority of those passing on the vaccine today are Trump supporters. Those are the ones who have spent the past five years dabbling in conspiracy theories and believe miracle cures (you know, besides the vaccine) are being kept from them.15 points

Bagram is the new Ben Ghazi. No investigation of infamous Jan. 6. Endless investigations of Bagram. If the GOPs controlled the House, they'd do a retaliatory impeachment. You're all despicable fuckwads. Don't pretend like you give a fuck about anything other than the jersey you wear or hide beneath your overshirt. There should be an investigation of this withdrawal with the aim of informing future policy and strategy. That's not what you're after. You're living it up as an amateur operative with no moral compass and no real care for the country you falsely claim to care about. You are more dangerous to this country than any foreign enemy.14 points

@WinningIsHard is correct, Ashli Babbit shouldn’t have been killed. Which is to say, the former President and those around him shouldn’t have tried to raise an insurrection against the President elect. Ashli Babbit shouldn’t have allowed herself to fall under their criminal and treasonous influence. She shouldn’t have crossed police barricades and entered the capitol with a mob. She shouldn’t have been trying to use violence to break through a police barricaded door to get to members of congress to force them to end the lawful electoral process and peaceful transition of power. That she was killed happened because she and others made those awful choices well before Michael Byrd carried out his duty to defend the Republic. Fuck around. You’ll find out.12 points

I didn't say BTN, I said BTN+. Another slain strawman by WhatTheBuck. And accepting a lower share in order to be admitted is exactly what is meant by paying to join the conference. You are trying to simultaneously argue that the Big Ten is an egalitarian utopia where all are treated equally at all times but also it's not "paying for admission" when new members aren't actually treated equally but have to accept lower payment shares. You can't have it both ways no matter how much you want to. Nebraska got exactly what they wanted in the Big 12 when it came to revenue splits. The only way Nebraska would get more money than most of the conference would be by unequal revenues based on number of television appearances. If it were purely equal, they would have obviously gotten the same as everyone else. If it were unequal based on population, etc. then they obviously would have gotten less than some others. But if it were unequal based on appearances then Nebraska got more. Which is exactly why Nebraska and Texas A&M were the two schools who pushed hardest for that setup. You genuinely don't know what you're talking about when it comes to the history of the Big 12, which is fine. It's just the part where you act like you do makes you look silly.10 points

Hey y'all. Today I'm going to be talking with Joshua Moore on a new app called ibble. If you join the app we donate $1 towards a charity called Helping Hand and you can ask you questions to Joshua and have him answer the questions for you personally. So if you want to know how the new offense helps receivers like him, how many yards he thinks he'll have this year, or who the quarterback will be, you can ask him face-to-face. I know this is a hive of villainy and scum, but I would very much appreciate it if you checked it out here https://t.co/Aks7uSzmj9?amp=110 points

IT Humidor: By: Eric, Gerry, and Justin In this Humidor we’ll be talking player expectations for the season with a skew towards their upside. You don’t need IT to tell you confidence in the defense is quite high. Players themselves have given hints and so too has defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski. On paper it all makes sense: these players made good strides last year under Chris Ash; they’re talented; they’re experienced; they’re deep; and they’re all in their proper fit. That’s a recipe for success even before you factor for PK’s resume. Each comment is sourced. It’s not 100% verbatim because it would have been a two hour phone call. I asked them to use short phrases so we could get through it quicker. We’ll share thoughts on the true freshman on Saturday morning. Great Expectations LB DeMarvion Overshown: 100 tackles. Five sacks. Ball hawk in coverage. Lots of picks. Potential All American. All Conference performer. DB Chris Adimora: Quality depth but capable starter. Losing job plus a bothersome shoulder hasn’t helped. Can make plays. Solid at a minimum. Will play. CB Darion Dunn: Could be a capable starter. He’ll rotate. Hands for turnover could be better. Drops picks, but good coverage. Finished camp strong. CB D’Shawn Jamison: All conference punt returner, maybe more. Potential to be first team All Conference corner. Will get his share of picks. Had a consistent August. EDGE Ben Davis: Could be quality starter. Ability to make impact plays. Got better through camp and will continue to improve. CB Josh Thompson: Potential to be in All American conversation, especially if ball skills show up. Plays with physicality, strong in coverage. First team All Conference. Stay healthy and consistent, the talent is there. DB Anthony Cook: Will make impact plays. Can cover very well for the position. Quality starter. More physical than you think. Totally reinvigorated. LB Marcus Tillman: Depth. Just hasn’t been the same since his injury. DB Brenden Schooler: Quality starter. Potential to be more. Run support is solid, not afraid to play downhill. Can cover ground in coverage. Coming around on being in the right place at the right time. If he gets that right he’ll have a big year. EDGE Ovie Oghoufo: Quality player, can make impact plays. A little more consistent than Davis so far. Hard to keep blocked in the run game. CB Ishmael Ibraheem: Redshirt but upside down the road. Bright future ahead. Showed growth throughout camp. Will mix it up. Focused. CB Kitan Crawford: Could already be a quality starter. Big upside. Will rotate in and play well. The future at corner. CB Jahdae Barron: Potential to be impact player down the road. Can cover. Improved throughout camp. Getting more consistent. Could even start this year if needed. Similar to Thompson in play style but not as fast. DB Marques Caldwell: Depth. DB BJ Foster: Quality starter. Good downhill in run support, good range. DB Jerrin Thompson: Will rotate in behind Schooler. Excellent depth. Could be quality starter. LB Jaden Hullaby: Depth. LB Devin Richardson: Could be rotational player at Mike. Upside down the road. Would be ready to start at some point this season if needed. CB Jamier Johnson: Redshirt. Could become a player. EDGE Prince Dorbah: Ready to make impact plays in pass rush. Behind Thornton and Ovie at XOLB right now. Has to become more complete. LB David Gbenda: Ready to be quality starter but will be rotational player to start. Able to make impact plays. Fast. Big upside down the road. EDGE Jacoby Jones: Quality starter, can make impact plays. Plays run and pass well. Not super athletic but good, solid player. LB Ayodele Adeoye: Quality depth. LB Jaylan Ford: Rotational player. Capable starter if needed. Can make impact plays. Upside down the road. DB Tyler Owens: Potential to become impact player next year. Speed is still there. Safeties won’t rotate all that much but he should play some. Could be capable starter this year if called upon. DL Vernon Broughton: Rotational player. Can make impact plays. Getting better under Bo Davis. Good interior pass rusher. Big upside if he keeps developing. EDGE Ray Thornton: Quality starter. Rotational player. Could make impact plays. Probably won’t be a high sack player but disruptive behind the line of scrimmage. LB Luke Brockermeyer: Quality starter. Could make impact plays. Expect some picks. Potential to make All Conference noise. EDGE Jett Bush: Rotational player. Reliable depth. Versatile. Still playing fullback. More athletic than people think. Will play behind Jacoby Jones. Might get some pass rush looks. DL Sawyer Goram-Welch: Good, solid player. Potential to play this year. Needs to keep developing and let depth chart clear out. Can play at Texas. DL Myron Warren: Depth but could play some this year at 3-tech. DL T’Vondre Sweat: Has All Conference potential. Can do some good things as a pass rusher. Obviously big versus the run. Quality starter. Impact plays. Potential to start but Coburn ahead of him. DL Alfred Collins: Potential to be All American (not this year). Impact plays left and right. Rotational player but also impact player. Like Broughton, still learning to be consistent. DL Moro Ojomo: All Conference player. Good versus run and pass. Great fit in this defense at 3-tech. Coming out party for him. Very consistent. DL Keondre Coburn: Likely All Conference, maybe All American. Energy player; players feed off of him. Impact player. Play strength/power in lower body is rare. Depth helps him. ***** Thursday practice was about as short as this Thursday practice report: — Of course they’re holding meetings and such but they only spent about an hour of work on the field — Very little 1v1 other than two minute drill — They worked quite a bit versus scout teams who were simulating ULL’s “looks” — Heavy focus on being assignment sound versus ULL As we’ve noted multiple times, Saturday will be a mock game. They are simulating game day to the degree players will wear suits into the stadium. They’ll stay at a hotel on Friday night. Etc. ***** IT had a unique interaction recently with some people extremely dialed into the Texas high school head coaching ranks. The takeaway from that interaction is Steve Sarkisian has been much more aggressive in building relationships with high school coaches than his previous two predecessors. The source said Sarkisian is playing the long game and doing things the right way. The previous coaches would often ignore coaches and go straight to the recruit. That’s no way to create allies. He’s the best relationship builder since Mack Brown and he still hasn’t had the chance to really go out and see coaches in person. There is a common belief Sarkisian assembled a high quality staff that is built to last, they just need to demonstrate their coaching ability on Saturday and the rest will fall into place. ***** All signs still point towards this being the swan song for Texas and OU in the Big 12. We still hear it’s fluid, but IT believes that’s more about the details of how the exit transpires more so than whether it will after this season.10 points

Let's follow this logic. To start with, it's true. They were traitors. They won, and because they won they were fine and set up the country we currently inhabit. A country with a superior government structure to the one they rebelled against. So now we have more traitors. They were in the middle of an active insurrection against the government structure that those of us posting here like. If they win then that government changes, just like the government changed after the Revolutionary War. So that means that we definitely don't want them to win. We want them to lose. So that means that it's perfectly logical, rational, and even reasonable to be happy that this traitor died. When traitors die, it's less likely their rebellion succeeds. Perhaps there was a WinningIsHard somewhere in Portsmouth back in the day really upset that people were happy that the traitors were dying. That version of you saw his country lose a war, a rebellion win, and his government ousted in that location. Thank you for posting the above. It contains the reason that you're wrong, it's just that your analysis is not deep enough to understand that. You have just proven exactly why it's okay to be happy that Ashli Babbitt died.9 points

No. I am not for shooting people "who break the law." I am for shooting who present an imminent threat to others. Damage/deface the Capitol? Arrest and charge them. Breach the perimeter, beating cops to get through, shouting that you are actively hunting members of one of our three branches of government? Yeah....you should be shot. If you breach the Supreme Court, beating a cop and saying "lemme at that Alito SOB!", you should be shot. If you breach the White House, beating a cop and shouting "lemme at the president!", you should be shot. This isn't hard to understand. Clinton sucked for Lewinsky. Trump sucked for pussy grabbing. Neither should be shot for the related crimes. If either one of them stormed my Capitol to decapitate my government, they should be shot when they are doing so. But then, you're a moron, so why did I bother explaining an of that to you?9 points
