This is the dumbest opinion in sports. There's not a different set of rules at the end of a game.18 points

This is such an aggy take. If we handle our business, which we definitely do not, it matters zero what other schools do. Texas is the only school Texas needs to worry about and we are our own worst enemy. What starts here changes the world, remember?17 points

It's partly true, there's always lots of illegals and legals in El Paso and other border towns. There are times when there's more than a lot of them. That's when the people of those towns, I can only speak for El Paso, come out and help them. Usually the city provides the shelter, the people provide the food, and they're glad to do it. It's a big operation, but one they do it every time, then things settle down and go back to normal. I think those that watch news, one in particular, get blown away by a load of bullshit that make it look like an American town is no more and Mexico has invaded, that's it's chaos. I watch that news channel every time I visit my mom and it's amazing how far they go to make everything a worse case scenario on the border. Church groups have huge cookouts every day for them. People bring water by the truck load. Families bring toys and blankets and more food. Anyways, I don't think the guy should lose his job, he should be banned from watching that news channel though.16 points

90% of that TCU team has never been to a bowl. They may be upperclassmen but this same team was basically 5-7 last year. Sark could not go to TCU and do this. Period. People can make alll the excuses they want for Sark. He couldnβt have walked into TCU and done this.14 points

Pulling for TCU is nowhere close to pulling for Aggie. I donβt care what anyone says.14 points

If you go back and look at film, Whit was open so many times while the ball was being forced to Worthy. I think heβd be looked at a lot differently if we had a more experienced qb who read the field better.14 points

People used to become more conservative as they aged because they became more invested in the status quo. Boomers pulled up the economic ladder and torched the planet, so we millennials haven't become more invested in their status quo. It's that simple.13 points

Asylum seekers are not βillegals,β so fuck that dude. Covid restrictions, (a both sides issue,) have led to a build up of asylum seekers on the border. Last weekβs freeze caused El Pasoβs mayor to declare an emergency, as thousands crossed the border seeking shelter to survive. Seems like the US and Mexico could work together to do more for those stuck in limbo there. Maybe. Thatβs what I gleaned from my Twitter feed. OU sucks.11 points

I donβt get the criticism of Whitt. I agree heβs not lived up to 5 star and he doesnβt play as fast as youβd think but he gets open, has very good hands and moves the sticks. He doesnβt pull away from defenders but he fights for yards. He plays in a part of the fields where thereβs a lot of traffic. Heβs less likely to have huge gains. Heβs reliable, physical, high effort guy. Heβs a way better number 2 receiver than Worthy is a number 1 receiver or Cain is a number 3 (or whoever we consider the no 3).11 points

If you want a clear example of why it's not working for Republicans just look at all posts, then especially the ones from Flatty and Incredulity. They immediately devolve into name callling and "own the libs." They have nothing to say otherwise. End.11 points

Some of y'all are crazy. That is 100% targeting and game situation should absolutely not matter for that call. It is a safety situation and he could have paralyzed himself for a pointless hit when the guy was already going down.10 points

No. Texas losing is bad for Texas. Texas winning is good for Texas. Shouldnβt make a shit what anyone else does. This isnβt complicated.10 points

You get why that's my username, right? I wanted the most obvious, unimaginative moniker possible. I could have made it something generic or clever and most probably wouldn't even realize where I went to school. But I'm not embarrassed to be an Aggie...I'm embarrassed as shit of the Texags racist (no quotations necessary) boomers--and those like them--but I don't apologize for them or keep voting them into public office. Your mileage may vary. And, more importantly and funny only to me, every time I dunk on someone on here, I want them to know it was by a fucking aggy.10 points

For those that love to speculate, Worthy had a picture of him in a Texas jersey pinned on his Instagram page as of yesterday. Heβs deleted it and again removed all Texas content from his social media. He did this previously after the season ended when there was speculation he was transferring.10 points

So what point are we making with Dykes? The guy who had won more than 8 games twice in his 13 year career before this year? Because if the point is coaches can evolve, get better and be evaluated by better talent then I donβt think people they are making the point they think they are. For every Sonny Dykes this year, there are 20 other first year coaches who did absolutely nothing. Heβs the outlier this year, not the norm. We will see if he can sustain it. Half this board was fondling Dave Aranda and Sam Pittmanβs balls at this time last year.9 points

TCU just took the lead in the Fiesta Bowl, where, of course, Kari Lake would be governor of the election hadnβt been stolen from her.9 points

We need to do everything we can to keep Worthy, heβs a special talent and even with the drops and low effort heβs a top 20 WR nationally. That being said, I donβt think I have ever disliked a player more who isnβt an actual bad guy. I almost wish he was a shithead like Evan Stewart.9 points

Heβs only been healthy enough to play in 23 career games. Heβs had a first year starting QB in 18 of those and a backup in the other 5. But he still has 1000+ career yards and essentially the same ypc (0.2 less) for his career as LilJordan Humphrey, another athlete take. When heβs played, heβs played winning football the vast majority of the time.9 points

I think he showed 5 star talent and a freshmen mind. He was leading the Big 12 in big time throws at one pt. He looked shaky in game 1 vs ULM. Came out and lit up Bama. They happened to play a lot of man, so his reads were simple. Got hurt, lit up a terrible OU. Played solid vs ISU. OSU was a straight disaster. High winds and they threw some junk coverages at him and he wasnβt ready for it. Solid game vs KSU, one of better pass defenses in the Big 12. Struggled vs TCU. That was a game where the OL was dominated. He wasnβt ready to carry the load and looked like ass. Played solid vs Baylor, outside of 2 freshmen decisions. OL struggled in pass pro. Played well vs Washington with very little help. When college defense threw more sophisticated zones at him, he looked like a confused freshmen. He made throws that I havenβt seen Texas QBs capable of making and he made decisions that freshmen Elhinger would make. Just part of having a freshmen at Qb. Keep in mind Sark doesnβt run the simplest of systems for a QB, one of the reasons that Manning is coming9 points

Cook is going to play day 1. Heβs a better route runner than anyone we have on campus outside of maybe Worthy. He tracks the deep ball well and is going to be college ready from a physical standpoint. Like coddax was saying, Margin Hooks has his WRs ready. Also, Worthy scrubbed his Instagram of Texas stuff. He had a picture of him in a Texas jersey pinned as of yesterday at the top of his page and itβs since been deleted.9 points

Yeah, that's a really random drop of racist nonsense. And, for a guy who is not on the ground in El Paso, and is more than 1000 miles away in Raleigh, NC, to make such a remark pretty conclusively shows that he's plugged into Fox News nonstop.9 points
