Right.  I am sure he is lying because he has so much to gain by doing so.  Hahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa...

I guess you'll say that Texas AD Chris Del Conte is lying then too because he has so much to gain, er uh, actually a lot of credibility to lose if he does right?

Quote

On Monday, Texas athletics director Chris Del Conte responded to the accusations.

“The comment today about lack of air conditioning in our visiting locker room is the first we’ve heard of any issues in that area,” Del Conte said in a statement released by the school.

“We provide one of the best visitor setups available and are proud of the efforts we put forth in hosting our guests. Our facilities staff did not receive any complaints from either Louisiana Tech or LSU, and we’ve confirmed that our air conditioning in the visiting locker room is in good working order.”

The LSU alumni and fan base have long been known for largely being human trash. We got a good reminder over the past few days why they have that reputation.

The good thing is they won’t be invited back any time in the next few decades, at the earliest.

Too bad. I sense a potential nasty rivalry emerging.

Have LSU fans thought of the possibility that maybe coach O didn't know how to turn the A/C on and when he told someone no one understood what he was saying?

I mean, that has to be one of the possibilities, right?

Ed Orgeron’s program is building quite a record of making claims of mistreatment at the hands of other teams when playing away games.

Remember Kragthorpe getting “punched in the pacemaker” after last year’s aggy game?

”LSU may not be so innocent after all.

New video has surfaced of the postgame fight from Saturday night in College Station, Texas, which was originally believed to be set off by Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher’s nephew punching an LSU staff member in the pacemaker.

But the new footage, obtained by the Houston Chronicle, shows Cole Fisher just pushing LSU’s Steve Kragthorpe before getting punched himself by Tigers safety John Battle while tussling with Kevin Faulk, LSU’s director of player development.

According to the Chronicle, Kragthorpe later retracted his statement to police that he had been hit.”

For those that still don't get it.  It's not a split-system.  You can't just turn off the upstairs condenser and  still have AC downstairs like at your house.  You would have to disable the AHUs servicing the entire north zone, sabotage the chilled water pipes entering the stadium, or shutdown a portion of the 100k-ton chiller system spread across campus. Someone would notice.

Tried to cheat by cutting the A/C and still ended up losing AND crying in the stands. I love how UT fans think their team wasn't affected by the heat even though they saw first hand how Keontay Ingram's hands were too sweaty to catch a 5 yard pass #STTDB

That is just another example of the classlessness at UT.  It goes along with your linemen holding on just about every play.  Is "Cosmi" Italian for  the command form of "hold it"?

Jesus Christ. Yes slur my university with imaginary bullshit asshole. You call us classless? At least we are not dreaming out smears and conspiracy theories. You cannot just graciously accept a victory? You have to be liars and invent fantasies? You have the fucking nerve to concoct this garbage and then call us classless? NAME ONE EQUIVALENT THING OUR SCHOOL HAS EVER DONE TO YOURS. ONE FUCKING THING.

Go to hell you piece of shit. Get the hell off this board.

It uh....was a joke bud.

Sorry if it wasn't funny.

Your comment was convenient to respond to. Lots of LSU fans claiming CDC says the AC was in working order, but that Texas had it turned off.  According to JBJ, the system doesn't work that way. Of course they will believe what they want to. Because obviously the coach that has his players faking cramps is so much more credible than CDC.

So are there still airheads that want us to join the dirty SEC?

Of course OU is just as bad, WV has a long history of some of the worst fan behavior at home, Miami is Sleaze U, and Ohio State is a total cesspool, but no other conference is such a dirtbag crapshow from top to bottom as the SEC.

Even if the AC wasn't working for some reason Orgeron really crossed the line there. I am supposed to believe they had trouble with the AC and just didn't mention it to anybody? They kept it a secret for some reason and then just decided to launch an attack on the integrity of our university for some reason? He had to go public instead of talking to somebody from UT about it?

That is inexcusable. What a disgusting human being. LSU should be ashamed of this stunt, because that is all it is a stunt designed to destroy our reputation because it seems just winning a game is not sufficient. Have any officials at UT ever smeared LSU in this way? No, of course not.

Oh but we are "classless".

Crap back in the day playing high school ball, no A/C , a weak stream of warm water from the fountain and more often or not the toilets all had upper deckers left in them before we got there. We somehow still managed.

+1 for upper deckers.

Playing both ways. And don’t forget the salt tablets! A/C, you got that in your car on the way home after leaving the field house....

Kids these days...

Take the loss this bad?

Again, because reading is hard:

No one thinks that fake cramps affected the score or result of the game. These are not the same issue.

We lost because we got beat on the field.

While playing the game, LSU pulled some cheap ass shit that didn’t help them win at all, BUT was still cheap ass shit.

Is this really that hard to grasp?

Take the win PUSSY!!!!!

It's fucking comical to hear complaints about where LSU seats were.    You're the god damned visitors.  You're not supposed to have good seats. We damn sure won't get prime seats on the road and, justifiably so, won't next year in Baton Rouge.   It's part of the deal - you get seats when you go to a visiting stadium.  That's it.  They're not going to be good ones.
Holy shit.
Actually the usual visitors seats at death valley are pretty good, down low in the south end zone/corner. Will be interesting to see if they put texas fans up high.

I was honestly surprised more of you weren’t pissed over the faked injury shit.  Classic horseshit SEC douchebaggery.
Fucking amazing they’re (LSU players/coaches) not being called out in the media.  Fuck em all.

I was pissed and at the game. Had some swamp trash flicking me off for calling them sec sissies. Had to restrain myself because 43 and arrested for choking out some wannabe coonass isn’t a good look.

Fuck LSU.

We didn't get pissed until they lied with extremely poor acumen trying to create a wag-the-dog false-flag fake news soundbite.

All they had to do was have 2, maybe 3 offensive players drop, say, just after a touchdown.  They would have had plausible deniability.

They're too stupid to be professional bitchasses.

Amateurs.

When you make an accusation like that you'd better damn well be able to back it up.

They don't need to. A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.

Their little smear campaign is out there. I wish we could cancel the game next season, I want nothing more to do with that institution after they let Coach Orgeron spread that filth.

Funny to think a coach would call LaTech and get information that the Texas visiting locker room had no AC, and then not bring it up to Texas before hand. He seemed really concerned about it only after his vaunted SEC defense had cramps after every single first down in the second half. What a stupid thing to lie about.

Can you imagine how unlikely it is that this is true? Imagine if we intentionally did that and one player or trainer or coach or whomever got heat stroke and died. We would be sued for hundreds of millions. The University of Texas is way to interested in not going broke to do something that stupid and for what? To maybe get a small advantage in a football game? Please.

So, according to coach O, they brought an airboat fan into the locker room or some shit? So they had air conditioning then. So why the fucking cramps? And why the fuck is no one calling out their conditioning staff? LSU just teed up a pretty simple negative recruiting angle, for the record. Thanks, pussies!

Football is a rough and brutal sport. If half the players on a team are struggling stay on their feet play after play, the refs need to step in and call it.  Just like in boxing...  If their coach isn't going to do it, someone  needs to step in and protect these poor kids.

It's a good thing Texas shared it's water during the pregame warmup. Some of those poor LSU pussies might have died during the game.

The university is a state entity and would reasonably be afforded sovereign immunity protection from civil money suits.

Think back on how A&M has been able to avoid civil money suits for a list of actionable behaviors, including what essentially was 12 count of negligent homicide back in 1999. Even today A&M is asserting sovereign immunity protection for their blatant theft of a writer’s intellectual property connected with a book written about the school’s 12th Man fairy tale.

CDC wasn’t wanting to avoid litigation connected with the needless death of a student athlete. He didn’t intentionally shut off LSU’s locker room ac because he would have never thought to have done so.  His mind doesn’t work that way. He’s a decent person.

Orgeron’s claim isn’t true. My guess is that both parties just let this story go away, but I wish Fenves would initiate a very public investigation into this and make the results public.

If a lack of AC was significant enough to cause mass cramping among LSU defenders, and Orgeron knew in advance of the lack of AC, wasn't he intentionally endangering his players?

Ed is a liar. Says he was told by La Tech there was no A/C in the locker room, yet he never once places a call to Texas to ask about the issue. Instead he rents fans.
Seems legit.....
Ed is a liar. Fat drunk and stupid is no way to go through life.

Would love for somebody to ask LaTech about this OTR.

Really? So CDC could have taken action that could have resulted in the death of employees or students of another state university and that wouldn't have been a major scandal? Good point about the soveriegn immunity for the University but I have a feeling the fall out would be devastating, not something any AD would willingly want to risk even if they were a immoral win at all costs type.

Anyway he may be a "decent person" but his professional reputation is being destroyed in the media all over the United States thanks to Ed Orgeron.

And what evidence do you see that the party who created and maliciously spread this story just let it "go away"?
