What exactly does that have to do with the issue? It’s fine because there are worse things out there Sure, they can see worse lots of places if they look for it. The whole thing is ridiculous, not funny, disrespectful to the players and the fans, etc. I’m also not one of those fans that yells at players, cusses the people around me or the players, or acts like a general asshole in public venues or private venues for that matter. Sports fans have taken on a weird sense of entitlement to do what they want. Even with that, dildos are a bit of a bridge too far in my opinion.

I do none of those things either, nor do I choose to get all up in arms about what somebody says on an internet message board. I never said I thought the actions were funny or the behavior was acceptable. Maybe someone should throw a rubber dick your way.

Uh yeah, your 11 year old shouldn’t be browsing Xitter or Barstool

It's easier than doing actual parenting.

So I shouldn’t go to games and ask the players to sign my big green dildo?

At least be a gentleman and dislodge it first.

Bought an nWo shirt there.
wolfpac is back!

Went there a year or so ago for the first time in 20+ years in our local mall to kill time. It’s totally different (for the worse) than what us 90s kids went there for. Felt dirty walking out of there.

Personally I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't want to set unrealistic expectations for one of my future wives.

Please leave Paige Bueckers alone, she already had one stalker arrested. Unless you posted bail and are back for more

Lot going on here with the green dildo controversy.

  • Throwing objects on the court is boorish, but ultimately fairly harmless if the object isn't likely to injury anybody, it might even be considered funny
  • That the object is a green dildo or any kind of dildo/toy raises the stakes quite a bit; it may well raise some explanatory issues with impressionable children that aren't implicated by tortilla, batter, or water bottle tossing
  • That the event is a women's sports event further complicates it because there are some interesting "politics" going on with it, including gender equality, race, etc.
  • There's a nasty implication with a penetrative sex toy at a women's sporting event that just isn't present with most object-tossing events; that makes the explanatory issues even more fraught

I can't wait for the ESPN 30 for 30 on this

Looks like her first year salary was 42k and her final year salary was 235k in the wnba. Apparently she has also played overseas and gotten a larger salary.

I don’t know what janitors earned in 2004 or since, in the places she’s played.  It seems that her upward mobility salary wise was much greater than that of a janitor.

I don't watch near as much as I should, mostly because of the TV distribution, but watched most of the Liberty and Aces last night.  Forgot how much of a beast A'ja Wilson is.

So fun to watch

She shot 3/14 and cost me a prizepicks entry but yes she's fun to watch. She was really good a couple games ago against Seattle.

She's a rebounding beast.  Her offensive rebounding in the 4th put the game away for LV

Its interesting how the league is kind of strong arming a selling team.      The prospective owner being a present NBA owner makes it even wilder

I read she didn’t even present Boston’s offer to the board of governors?

There is now a 2nd offer from a group based in CT that wants to move the team to Hartford at least part of the season.    Now the league is reportedly trying to shake them down for a "relocation fee" too.

Fertita didnt even offer the full $250M that the other expansion groups did and they are still trying to force the team to HOU

Waste of money.
