I do not really care where the first game with aggy is played, but now I'm in the "I want it to be in Austin simply so I can witness the complete Texags meltdown that will follow" camp.

I agree, sharting makes a noise.

And whooping, as well as the sound of bodies being crushed when the upper deck of the world's largest Kroger collapses. .

They keep saying this over and over. Some believe that Texas fans may even be attacked.

I now see that the Aggies think all of the other schools in the SEC are like A&M and actually like A&M. They are certain the curtain will be pulled back on tu and their brothers in the SEC will, obviously, submit applications to join A&M's insane jihad against the University of Texas.

I can't recall a single game on the road where Longhorn fans didn't get along just fine with everyone. Arkansas hates us and act like it, but it's not the profound belief that we are evil that drives them. They're just rabid fans with just about nothing but the Razorbacks bringing value to their lives.

I'm sure all the SEC fans coming to Austin will hate it for the crime-ridden woke place that Aggies believe it to be.

The Aggies, for whomever listens to them about us, are setting us up great. You'll have one of those scenes where an idiot has been complaining (endlessly, it's all he ever brings up) about his neighbor to his friends. The friends are over for a disgusting BBQ, and the hated neighbor shows up with a six pack and cole slaw.

The idiot points at his neighbor and exhorts the gathering of friends, "SEEE?!?"

The friends look at each other. "See what?" "Hey man, that slaw looks pretty good, I'm Hunter and this here is Bob."

Idiot watches his world end yet again.

Read the SEC boards - they are already sick of the ags and their moonbat crazy fans.  This post is weapons-grade ironic and devoid of a single ounce of self-reflection.

I’ll say this - I never really wanted Texas to go to the SEC, mostly because I have more respect for B1G and Pac schools and would have selfishly preferred those (as institutions and travel destinations, not as football programs; I also understand that that has nothing to do with it and acknowledge that Texas did the objectively right thing).

But goddamn, I gotta say, their collective, ongoing tantrum about our arrival, their childish worldview, and their desperation brings me a lot of joy and daily entertainment and has made me more enthusiastic about the sec.

I mean…did they really, truly, ever believe that there was a world in which the motherfucking University of Texas doesn’t get to join any goddamn conference it wants? Do they really see conference alignment as some sort of brotherhood or best-friends club, and not all it really is - a business arrangement? Christ, grow up.

Actually, don’t - it’s better this way.

I don't understand why they are blaming us for the scheduling issues and not adding an extra game. It is their other schools that have a bunch of patsy opponents locked in for years that would have to cancel and pay termination fees. What does that have to do with us?

881 days and counting since aggy's last bowl game.

Or to put it in terms that aggy can understand... If you started at A&M in the spring of 2021 and took 15 hours each spring/fall semester, you would be classified as a senior and already have your aggy ring before possibly being able to attend your first bowl game as a student.

Not sure I understand the reference here.  Slaw, potato salad, and pinto beans are a staple side for bbq.  If I am cooking ribs/brisket, I would appreciate guests bringing them.

aggy is so delusional in every aspect, as well as being irrelevant on a National scale. You can’t make this shit up, as if Fresno State is “chest bumping” USC.

I mean it’s tough to argue with much of it, other than the liberal area around Austin is too large and they didnt call the panhandle area Oklahoma.

Yep. I thought about including that and had actually written them in. I deleted it because my sense is that those fans are that way to everyone. Sounds like it was terrible and even frightening for some.

I think one of things about Texas fans that is likely not unique to us is that we are pretty realistic about how good our team is from year to year. It's a remnant of what was once a distinguishing trait of most Texans. This leads to fun discussions with other fans.

I don't see Ole Miss fans or Mississippi State fans discussing cultural differences when the Longhorns come to town. They'll be fired up to beat Texas. They'll also mingle at the tailgates, offers beer or cocktails, and make nice like the Aggies think they do because of all the fan letters that they've written to themselves over the years.

"My father was having a massive heart attack, and two Aggies offered to provide transplant organs on the spot. A veterinary student, so nice and polite, was prepping to perform the transplant while the two young men did an arm wrestle to see who would have the honor of donating his heart.

"Turned out, it wasn't a heart attack but a gas pain. A huge fart cleared that up. The nice young men then escorted us to the stadium and explained all your wonderful traditions. Our children will surely be attending! Gig 'em! That's what I think you wonderful guys say."

Auburn and MissSU are the closest. Cow colleges with low admissions requirements, little brother in their state. But fans from both of those schools don’t have the idiotic turditions of aggy. Except for maybe the MissSU cowbells. That crap is absurd.

What they mean by similar culture is racism or some type of bigotry.  I don’t know why that gets looked over so hard.  Everytime it’s written, that’s the context. It’s pretty simple.  If you’d like recent examples, look for the recent UT posts with Bevo mascot in the pride shirt, and the subsequent posts on their boards.

I’m pretty far from that guy who see racism/bigotry in everything, or much, but that’s been what “similar culture” means on txaggy and rant boards since it leaked they were joining.  It gets even funnier when they sometimes realize how diverse some of their “culture fit” buddies are.   Also funny, I see it 100x more from ag posters than any other SEC posters.

fattyflattie's right.

MSU and Auburn don't claim a place among the military academies, they don't have indoctrination camps, and they likely manage to say the actual name of their rivals from time to time.

That leaves the kind of conservatism Aggies think they share with anyone else saying that they are conservative. The wink-wink nod-nod Notthatthere'sanythingwrongwiththat attitude towards homosexuals, people of color, and anyone who doesn't align with Aggies (Texags) of like mind.

Culture does not equal cult.

Auburn's most famous alum is the wealthiest openly gay man on earth, so there's that

Goddamn these dipshits.

1) there’s no answer to who we hate the most. I’ll speak for myself. I hate everybody not named Texas. I don’t give a flying shit if everyone in the new conference hates us; fuck them. Texas is poison, Texas will piss everyone off, blah blah blah? Tough shit. That’s what the money is for.

2) the ou game is the most important one to be preserved. Not because we as a monolithic entity hate them the most, because it’s historically been the best and most meaningful game. I don’t think most of us hate the institution that is the university of Oklahoma (their athletic programs, sure), but I fucking loathe everything about Baylor; that doesn’t mean I give a single fuck about ever playing them again. It actually means I’d prefer not to ever associate with that actual cesspool.

3) they talk about the last decade as though it has been some sort of ascent for their program and has made Texas jealous…what the ever living holy fuck are they talking about? They haven’t done a goddamned thing. It was a golden opportunity for them to do just that - establish themselves as something more than a decent football program, because Texas has been shitty and they had a recruiting advantage. And they’ve done fuck-all with it. They’re exactly the same as they ever were. They’ve pissed it away. Texas will eventually get its shit together, but we gave them a decade-plus to pull ahead and they haven’t. No matter how much they keep repeating it. They haven’t.

And what always gets me is their collective victim complex. Christ what a bunch of titty-babies.
