Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins

Featured Replies

Or, they could have a package of Zone Reads, true RPO’s and some deep balls. WildArch.

So basically, the exact same plays we run with Quinn but add a Zone Read?

They will absolutely be trying to hurt Quinn. Especially Turner. Even with  fully healthy Quinn, Arch should be ready because of this.

Owens too.

That guy’s not hurt. He’s drunk.

Am I crazy or are his ankles not even taped any extra?

Not calling for Ewers to sit, but I can't wait until the Manning era.  That ball just comes out of his hand differently.  The difference in velocity is obvious

Bro he's clearly favoring his left ankle...

I think he gives it a go but Arch better be ready. You know aggy will happily take an ejection to try and hurt QE.

Left

If I’m dissecting T-shirt practice footage he’s gingerly stepping with his feet. I think with a slightly hobbled Quinn we can still win, but this is one for the books boys. If Quinn starts and wins at Aggy we gotta stop with the handwringing and criticism and just dance with the one we brought. Conversely, if Quinn gets reinjured and Arch leads us to victory, I don’t think we can look back for the playoff run. I can’t remember a more important start for a QB at UT ever.

I agree with you but you know damn well that Quinn could lead us to a 40 point blowout win and you’d have knuckleheads typing out dissertations in this thread on why Arch would’ve won by 50

That's aggy level of overinflation of this game.  It's a big game but c'mon..... Vince and Colt started  National Championship games (and that's just two in the last 20 years...there are more), so unless you are a teenager I'm not sure how you can't remember a more important start.

Hell Quinn himself started a CFP semifinal just LAST year.

Definitely not a teenager. Was at UT for both of those games. I’m saying Quinn has had Arch breathing down his neck with a fan base that’s applying otherworldly pressure while he’s on track to lead us to 2 CFP births back to back. Once VY and Colt took over they didn’t feel threatened by their back up. Having that much talent around you raises pressure to perform that much more. Quinn knows this is the game where he can prove he’s the man to our fan base, the country and pro scouts. “Backup, I don’t need any backup.”

Yes Sir - if somehow Arch leads us to victory against aggy, you roll with him vs Georgia and beyond.

I hope so, I like him. Just win, baby!

I don’t give a flying fuck who th qb is as long as they kick the shit out of aggy

Fuck the bullshit. Go kick some aggy ass and leave a legend.

1) Start QE, but sub Anthony Hill at RB

2) Run Hill 12 straight times

3) After we’re up 21-0, put in Arch for Quinn

4) Arch throws for 285+ yds+, we win big

5) aggy crawls back in its hole

6) QE leads Texas to the NC

Run, then run, and run some more

We might actually have an effective playaction in this game

Left tackle seems to be holding up well for the time being too.

Where the fuck did that come from? Need more of that

That was Quinn's best deep pass in 2 years

2 years?  You sure about that?

Best one since the pass that hit Moore in the face mask against Florida would be more accurate.
