Sark played Alan Jackson at practice to loosen Arch up, a little tip he picked up from Mack.

Let’s throw it back to ‘05 and have our guys listen to Mike Jones

If bumping his gums is what gets him to play like that then maybe we should let him. We've always been the empire anyway, maybe it's time to embrace the role, right? Meet the new Arch Manning yall!!

Did he get flagged for that flex? Social media keeps talking about a taunting penalty.

No, he didn't get flagged. After the "incident," one of the refs came up to him, talked to him for a total of maybe 10 seconds, and Arch went to the sideline to celebrate the score with the team. That's all that happened.

Everything else is media morons manufacturing a "scandal" while an army of online followers (and Texas haters) generate a false narrative on the socials. So then others pick it up, spread the lies, and it becomes an "a lot of people are saying" thing and becomes gospel in the public imagination.

A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on. This is especially true in today's world.

Dude this is a fucking message board full of degenerates and megalomaniacs. I'll post whatever I want on here as should everyone else. I don't need life-preservers or moderation for my takes and I'm not going to hide from any board when I'm wrong. If anything I happily admit when I'm wrong.

Some of us are enjoying watching a QB play that doesn't take 5 sacks a game and turn the ball over twice by halftime.

This isn't a shtick - this isn't sunshine pumping. I'll say it again - I call it like I see it. This QB fucks and this team does too and they are going to be an absolute problem for everyone left on the schedule.

Maybe I'm wrong - if so - page me when I am. This "careful, buddy - you don't want to say stuff you might regret!" shit is a joke. This is text on a screen. There aren't any stakes here. Who gives a shit. We're all just messing around.

Ughhh sigh. You don't see it do you? Notice the usual hardcore x and o guys are pretty quiet? There is a reason for that. Arch beat the yips, and everyone was happy as hell to see it. However, we also see his processing speed is still incredibly slow. He is holding onto the ball forever. I was yelling at the tv, "Let it go 16!". He still missed a bunch of easy reads, and he needs to get out of bounds when he runs. We are all still nervously waiting to see how that shakes out vs good competition. You CAN say what you want to. I am a big believer in karma and the football gods.

I mean if this was Baker Mayfield over a Texas player we would be in an uproar…. So context is king.  Sure it was a bit much but if it’s him getting his head right and the yips gone I don’t give a shit, if he got flagged or not and possibly should have.  My worry is the first SEC game vs Florida he regresses to first few games headspace with pressure.

@Thatguy

in the first two sentences of the post you replied to, that persona used the word "I" 6 times

you are interacting with someone that has a severe personality disorder

please don't quote that persona so those of us who have him on ignore are not subjected to his madness

funny you think a texas media member won't ask about it next week

Instead of the hard hitting questions like “are you happy with what Lorreal has planned for you to wear off the bus for the SEC opener?”

i would certainly hope not.

We all need a little guidance sometimes my friend and I appreciate you for it. Carry on.

It was lame.  He should've been flagged for it.  Now it reinforces the idea that Texas, and specifically Arch, gets special treatment when a ref will rip his ass for something but won't actually penalize us for it.  But I moved on from it 10 seconds later.  Who cares.

The ref had a direct word with Arch afterward. I think he understood the situation fine.

Idk but id be perfectly happy doing a Devil’s Triangle with Sark and Lorreal if that’s what it means for a national championship.  Taking one for the team, literally….

The looks that Manning got in this game weren't really any different than the previous 2 games. Open receivers all over the place. He just was able to actually throw a football consistently well for the first time this season.

I busted out laughing at this when they showed it during the game. I fist bumped my BiL and said "Arch is on fire!" If you watch the entire clip you can tell he was just getting hammered with adrenaline. The dude was overcome with fuck lion energy at the moment.
