OU played their best game of the season in Dallas and prepared for that game for 364 days. Texas came into this season trying to win the B12 and make the CFP. OU came into this season trying to beat Texas. The goofy pic with BV wearing the Texas fears OU shirt should have clued everyone in that this is still an undisciplined OU team that has issues preparing and showing up week to week. And they still needed Texas to have an off day and turn the ball over 3 times to win by a score. Saying "why didn't Texas do x, y, z two weeks ago" completely ignores the context of that rivalry game. Good teams lose all the time - especially in rivalry games.

OU dicking around against UCF says a lot more about OU than it does Texas. Any objective observer who isn’t still upset about the RRS would tell you the same thing. I saw multiple national talking heads say that they still thought Texas was a better team after that game.

I'm confident that Texas comes out and kicks UH's ass today - just like I was fairly confident that OU was going to dick around and either lose or make a couple of games close against bad teams down the stretch. It's their douchebag HC's MO.

I hope OU loses all their games the rest of the season. They were yet another team that played their best game against us and we failed to match their intensity. They are not an elite team.

That can’t happen or certain people on this board will be embarrassed and say we all should be embarrassed we lost 2 weeks ago

The QE pick on play 2 was monumental. Unforced. If he doesn’t majorly screw that play up, we may get a very different game.

Sark needs to get creative on every first series. Give the D what they didn’t expect. He’s play calling early to not fold in half 2.

Confuse the opponent, drain their confidence. Then let our talent and depth win out.

Are you allowed to leave the house by yourself or do you have to have a service worker with you?

Everyone with an ounce of brain knows that's a rivalry game where anything can happen. How we finish the year will determine our fate at the end of the year, not how OU plays the rest of the season.

Sark is simply trying to get QE in flow. That's why our opening script is short throws.

I am starting to think that the Venables spent the first 5 weeks of the season stealing our signals and didn't think they needed to do it for UCF

It's funny you mention this, but UCF has used a few sugar huddles in this game to try to confuse the blOU defense

I think the Michigan news and the ties about Venabales at Clemson is finally getting some teams to pay attention to this...

Got no problem if if fucks over OU, but it also pisses me off that we didnt take those rumors seriously

Texas is 11-18 in that game since the tie in 95.

Let’s stop pretending it’s always “anything can happen” in that game. A few of the times, maaaybe.

And yet everyone loses their collective shit when we lose. You’d think we’d be used to it by now. Which is a whole other conversation to have

I would say that and quite a bit more. They scouted our every tendency, not just signal calls. The date was circled and preparation commenced in the offseason and continued until gameday. That and of course, they came into the game properly motivated playing with intensity from the first whistle. It was the very definition of getting someone's best shot.

Having said that, we were still "that" close to winning the game despite substantial Rig 12 fuckery, 3 turnovers and playing with our 3rd string center (which absolutely affected guard play). Remove any one of those factors and we win. That still doesn't excuse the "prevent defense" dumbshittery on the last drive, 2 of the 3 turnovers nor a lack of intensity and focus coming into the game.

I’ll say again, anyone that uses lulz or lol at the end of sentences because they’re too afraid to be accountable, needs therapy.

Wut. The sooner fans on this site told us that Oklahoma didn’t play a perfect game against us, it’s funny because it was bullshit. Hence the lulz. It’s laughable that they only play their perfect game against us, much like they do the horns down when they aren’t playing us hence the big LOL. You’re an adult on a message board on a Saturday obsessing over teenagers…everybody in here needs therapy bud. You keep being the bastion for mental health tho.
