Yeah, I know it is Daily Mail, but the amount is staggering.

The staggering extent of Elon Musk's land grab in Southern state revealed

However, it was not clear until now the staggering extent to which the richest man in the world has expanded in the Lone Star State.

Musk's companies own more than 500 properties covering 6,000 acres in Texas. His expansive network of factories, tunnels, and launch pads spreads from the top to the bottom.

Houston Chronicle did a similar story a few weeks ago that has more info by the looks of it. Reader view bypasses the paywall if your on an apple device.

Ok.  Does it get more "bullshit bubble" than "chip manufacturer invests in consumer of its chips so that consumer can buy its chips?"  It's a fucking loop.  It's not real.

Nvidia has been doing this for years.  Go look into Coreweave.

Look that just the kind of stupid red tape that stands in the way of progress. He’s actually doing us all a favor by highlighting the issue. Shouldn’t really even have the slap on the wrist.

when my daughter was little, she liked to play "Free Street." I would pretend to shop, and when I asked how much whatever I was buying cost, she would say somethingl along the lines of 'Daddy, everything is free on Free Street." And I would have to pretend to be amazed by such a thing. Then everytime we played, Free Street would get even crazier, and if I bought one car for free, I would get a second car for free also. Then it would escalate all the way up to I get a million dollars back in change.

IIRC, she was about four years old at the time.

The fact that he just ducked in to make that thread and has never come back is some of the most embarrassingly childish behavior I've ever seen on the internet. He's the perfect Republican.

I think he's really old, so he might just be dead. Or have a new handle.

It's too bad DOGE wasn't able to protect us from the waste, fraud, and abuse of doing a $20,000,000,000 currency swap with Argentina. Right after their farmers ate our farmers lunch, no less.

I mean, lets be fair. Their farmers didn't eat our farmers's lunch. Our policies ate our farmers's lunches.

That’s what those farmers get for growing some liberal sissy crop like soybeans anyway.

Grow a manly crop like potatoes and this doesn’t happen.

Don’t worry- Elon has a plan that isn’t at all self-dealing or violative of a million fiduciary duties

AI deals with NVIDIA.  This shit.  It's all just a fucking shell game, with the only question being the same question it always is: who's gonna be stuck with the empty shells, while the insiders who rig the game walk away with the shell hiding the ball and get the prize?

When the book is written on this era, it will have a title like "The Scam Economy" or some shit like that.

It’ll be called “Rigged Economy: where billionaires have no rules and regular people get fucked” or alternatively “Before the Guillotines” jkjkjk

But it's more than that.  It's vaporware writ large.  It's magical thinking, sales numbers boosted by Elon buying his own cars, NVIDIA setting up vehicles to buy its own chips, etc.  It's fucking fake.
