The fact that you even mentioned this makes me ragey. It’s hard enough to work with only two monitors when I have excel, several enterprise software browser windows open, jira/servicenow open, and teams open. Some dipshit like rudy being in charge of cyber again could superfuck the entire working world. Thanks for the nightmare fuel.

X Platinum edition. $9.95/Mo if you pay the full year upfront, $12.95 if you go month to month.

Oh....that's the price for the first couple of years.  Then, once you're locked in, and all possible competition is vanquished, the full enshittification of raising both prices to $19.95 and $25.95 respectively, falls into place.

FAFO indeed.
Fin.

Fuck him.  I hope he loses it all and dies of despair.

They have declared war on all of us.  And as their God Elon tells us, empathy is evil.  So, none of you fucking Trumpers gets to say "oh Brisket, where is your empathy, where is your humanity?"  You fuckers took it out back and shot my empathy, and then raped its corpse, laughing the whole time.  Empathy is for those who deserve it.

As is suffering and torment.  He chose....poorly.

Yeah, choosing to go full MAGA when you own restaurants in DC is a choice.  Not a smart one, but a choice nonetheless...

Even if he’s not in DC this guy is a real dumbass. Guess what, if you’re in the Michelin star restaurant and artisan bakery business, your clientele and MAGA have little overlap.  Anyway, FAFO  and I hope he has to go sling MAGA dogs to boomers somewhere.

Is Eric Weinstein the dumbest "academic" in the country? Has to be in the running. He thinks Trump is smart?

He must be under the impression that being a ruthless, heartless, soulless, greedy ghoul is the same as smart

Lots and lots of people are going to suffer. It’s fucking sad

But if they don't bleed, they won't learn.  And when Dems continuously save them,  they continue to jump into the deep end.  You can't keep the damn lemmings off the cliff.  This time though, they fired the lifeguards and park service, so there's no saving them from themselves.  Maybe this time they'll finally fly.

So in the end, we can safely assume that none of these FAFO idiots are gonna switch their vote. We can only hope that they are just jaded enough to stay home next time. Fucking sad, but that's where it's at.

Shit, who do you think is gonna go in those new prison camps once they deport everyone with a hispanic last name?  XPrisonCorp gotta make its cash somewhere.  Once we get rid of Obergefell and Lawrence v. Texas, we can go back to the way God ordained it: full criminalization of being gay, trans, or any other icky sexual/gender orientation thing MAGA hates.

Don't think it's coming?  Dudes.  There are LITERALLY bills being introduced in multiple state legislatures, including ours, to do EXACTLY THAT.  I don't have to make any of this up -- it's actually happening.

I think gay marriage may very well be overturned, because it is a judicial precedent, but I don't think "rounding up the gays into prisons" is going to happen.  Feel free to link any bills saying that.

That’s adorable.

From Chron: Oliverson's proposal faces an uphill climb to become law. As the 3,817th bill filed during the 2025 legislative session, the bill is a low priority in the chamber. It also has no co-sponsors and has not yet been scheduled for a committee hearing. Callie Butcher, founder of Butcher Legal Group, a Dallas law firm that advocates for and serves the LGBTQ community, said that while Oliverson's bill faces slim odds of passing, it's in line with other bills that would restrict transgender people's freedom of expression.

Texas is now entirely unliveable.

Curiously, or not, that just says the bill is procedurally unlikely.  It doesn't say a goddamn thing about how fucking crazy it is or how crazy the lege is.

It was introduced by a Jersey Village anesthesiologist, not some small-population west or east Texas crank.

Minimizing outrage over the fact that a bill outlawing a population’s very existence has been filed by saying, “It’s okay, this probably won’t pass,” speaks volumes.

And not "it won't pass because it's fucking crazy," but "it won't pass because they won't get to it this session."

I feel like your "this bill has zero chance of passage" has been said here before. Probably by you.

I guess feel free to point out an example via quote.

We can go around the whole country tagging bills in state houses that are absolutely batshit.

All around the country? Can we? Seems like Texas is leading the charge on "batshit bills" these days.

Because leaving a state where you're anchored by career, kids, etc. is the same as leaving one forum on an anonymous internet site.  Jesus, man, keep doubling down on your heartlessness.

Sorry Caleb.  Not really, though.  You chose....poorly

Caleb Ragland, a soybean farmer in Magnolia, Ky., voted for President Donald Trump in 2016, 2020 and 2024. Now, however, he has to navigate a tariff minefield at a time when the sector is already facing major headwinds.

Ragland works with his wife and three sons and has deep roots in the community. His family has been farming on the land for more than two centuries. But in recent years, he has seen a double-digit percentage decline in crop prices while production costs rise, with soybean futures having gone down more than 40% over the past three years along with corn futures.

As pressures mount in the industry as a result of tariffs imposed by the second Trump administration — as well as retaliatory levies from other countries — he’s worried about the longevity of his business.

“My sons potentially could be the 10th generation if they’re able to farm,” Ragland, who is also the president of the American Soybean Association, told CNBC. “And when you have policies that are completely out of our control – that they manipulate our prices 20%, 30%, and on the flip side, our costs go up – we won’t be able to stay in business.”

“We’re already at the point that we’re unprofitable,” Ragland said. “Why on earth are we trying to add insult to injury for the ag sector by basically adding a tax?”

Ragland pointed out that he “appreciates the president’s ability to negotiate” and wants Trump to be successful for the sake of the country. However, he emphasized that those in the industry, especially soybean producers, don’t have any “elasticity in our ability to weather a trade war that takes away from our bottom line.”

“Folks are upset,” Ragland said about sentiment from other farmers, stressing that they all need relief through deals that reduce barriers to trade and a new five-year comprehensive farm bill – legislation that provides producers with key commodity support programs, among others. “You’re talking about people’s livelihoods,” he remarked.

Yes, troph used hyperbole when she said Texas has become "unlivable."  I saw her recently, and can confirm that she's in fact quite alive, and not by means of a ventilator or other medical assistance.  She used the term to express her feelings toward an elected official -- hardly a lone ranger unless you're completely obtuse -- introducing a bill to criminalize her very existence.  Rather than a "gosh, that really sucks," or just fucking letting it go, you use it to express heartlessness toward her legitimate feelings, like you're taking amusement at her reaction to a political environment that directs hatred toward her and others like her.  What the fuck?

That was GenXer, not troph.  But good talk.
