Impressive, pops in the conference that is 0-7 in postseason games against other P4 conferences this season if you exclude us.

Regular season was much better...

FWIW - Gerry/Bobby talked this afternoon that this LB was Muschamp’s top choice. It was posted earlier that this kid broke his arm in-game and finished out the game. What wasn’t said was that it happened in the first half - he came off the field to get it wrapped up and finished the first half. At halftime they threw some extra padding on him and he went out and played the entire second half. This was against Ohio St.

Given all the special teams and TE commits, does that mean Banks has got his shit together better than certain others on the coaching staff?

not sure what the other options were in the portal for K and P. The K seems a bit like a "settle". LS should be easy to scout.

it is crazy we punted 59 times and the FSU guy from a 5-7 team punted only 27.

Did any of us seriously think A&M was going to let Coleman go to Texas? They will take out another mortgage on Kyle Field for an off-season ‘W’ over big brother.

How’d you feel playing next to a guy getting paid 10-20 times more than you are being paid? Think about it.

So once the fresh visit high wears off and he goes home and realizes Marcel Reed is balls, we’re good.

LOL, they were "pleased". Dumb aggy doesn't realize that negotiating 101 is to keep all bidders at the table for as long as possible if you are trying to maximize the price paid. They should have Nico Harrison come down and GM their football program.

He's probably going to run through the white board before Boom even writes anything.

who are we pursuing on OL besides the Michigan dudes (who are now talking things over with the new staff)? OL worries me more than WR and RB.

I would love him to come to Texas. The guy broke his arm in the 1Q of the OSU game and played the whole game. Just a bad add

Not super wound up about losing out on Coleman, I guess. His drops issues aren't going to disappear, and I'm willing to bet he'll drop a critical pass from Reed at least once next season.

That being said, can anyone sincerely tell me one facet of his job Chris Jackson is doing well at this point? If our offer was roughly equal with A&M's as CTJ stated, it's yet another data point against Jackson and his two-year extension that he couldn't sell Coleman on our offense vs. A&M's.

Per the Noles site:

FSU's 28 punts on the season were fewest in program history...FSU did not punt in three games, the most for any team nationally over the past 20 seasons

Has anyone heard about this lb were recruiting that played with a broken arm. Finished the game and everything. Good add?

I want a linebacker who doesn’t break his own arm, but one who breaks arms on the other team.

So as usual one of the possible logical deductions from A&M excitement is that they misread things?

For Christ's sake he is basically saying in that post that Coleman wasn't planning to visit Lubbock before he went to College Station but now he is. And that means they locked him up? Just as likely to mean that he's thinking "shit, I need to find a second place I might actually want to go for leverage with Texas."

Again, I don't know shit about fuck but you get it for free.

From the linked article:
At the same time, the Red Raiders can now use transfer quarterback Brendan Sorsby as a selling point, while playing with Aggie QB Marcel Reed and star wide receiver Mario Craver will be equally enticing. I don't see USC as a legitimate threat, and Texas will still be in the running regardless.

Not one mention of Manning; smh; after all, it is "aggieswire"

Disentangle Sorsby know that aggy loses most of their OL, meaning Reed will be under more pressure and making it harder for him to complete passes….but, if there’s plenty of $$$, he may not care, but he will need a good year for an upcoming draft.

That euphoria sure changed in a hurry. Frankly, I don't think anyone should feel good about him visiting Tech. Their billionaire makes it not that different from visiting Oregon. They are going to overpay for him because they have to. They have a willing bag wielder.

If he's not going to come here, I would much rather he spend the season smelling cowshit and ducking dust storms in Lubbock.

Did Coleman really leave his visit early and not meet with the coaching staff? Or just Aggy making shit up. I don’t remember seeing that.

I heard that earlier but it seemed like message board gossip.

Rutgers transfer WR Ian Strong has signed with Cal,

Probably for academics.

Bobby and Gerry seem to be pumping the brakes a bit on the Raleek Brown predictions.

Gerry has said several times now that Brown is carrying a huge price tag. Said he’s heard it’s between $1-$1.5 million.

Bobby/Gerry spent 20 minutes this afternoon explaining that Texas was ‘all in’ but that Texas wasn’t just going to pay whatever it took to get a deal done.

all-in

At some point with transfers it's not worth believing anything is decided until they're enrolled and listed on the roster.

And that will only work 90% of the time.

Was he the QB’s roommate?

I still think we land Coleman. Nothing is final until the portal actually closes.

lol are we trying to snag a "good deal" again?

I watched a lot of Vandy this year. His speed pops on the field even in SEC games.

Nice. We need OL more than Coleman

So does aggy.

That is the most Aggie insider we are winning Aggie update of all time.

Sounds like Coleman to Tech. Not surprising when we all knew he was going to the highest bidder.

Love the vandy kid as a plan b.

If we land the Wisconsin lb and the two Michigan lineman I will not be sweating the wr miss if it happens. There is still a lot of depth at wr and rb.

I dont understand why everyone is acting like we are out of it. We have a great pitch for him. He's in the due diligence/seeking higher offers stage.

Alliegro is like a dude who went to Wisconsin and then realized Jim Leonhard wasn't coaching there anymore. He went in thinking he was going to play on a top 10 defense every year and found out the new coach was an air raid pussy in dairy land.

I laughed.

If Texas balks at $1M for Raleek Brown, they’ve been misjudging this cycle’s market for the better part of a year. JFC if so.
