I know I know, late to the party… but aggy can get an auto bid to regionals if they win a tournament that the top 5/6 dont really care to play…11 conference wins aggy???   seems like an odd format.

No different from any other conference tournament in any sport with auto-bids to the NCAAs.

Of they win 5 games in a row over better teams, the last 4 at a disadvantage for rest and pitching.

Old Miss 3-1 over Gators….it is what it is.

Yeah... couldn't watch any of it because the game didn't start until like 10:30.

Looks like we made several fielding errors last night.

This is kind of like saying Texas should be discounted champions because of schedule and home games.

If you can rattle off 5 straight SEC wins in 5 days, you should be in the post season.

They won't though.

Damn they beat a shitty Mississippi State team and suddenly Surly has crowned them champs.

Doering and the chick who went to SCar (name is escaping me for a second) were doing it on SEC This Morning as well. Mississippi did it that one time, and some idiot after the game claimed that he loved Earley more than life its own self, so now ATM walks through the SEC tournament and then rips through to the CWS and a national title.

It’s only been 12+ years for the SEC honks with ATM. I guess at some point down the line these idiots will take a minute and realize that they’re playing Charlie Brown to ATM’s Lucy with the football.

My favorite was last night during the Ole Miss - Florida game when the dude doing PBP was talking about the aggies and referred to them as "the surging aggies"?

Really? Based on their one win?

Or maybe he was also impressed by them taking one of three in Athens last weekend.

I love how this is lining up if we win and everything falls into place. We would get to beat two of the top conference teams we didn't play during the season (Tennessee and Vanderbilt) and if we make it through, potentially revenge on Arkansas in the title game. I know its just a warmup for ncaa's and doesn't really matter, but man it would be fun to win it to put an exclamation mark on the SEC season and leave nobody any room to talk.

aggy and auburn start at 11:00am

The way it seems to rain so much at this Hoover hole this time of year, they should start games at the crack of dawn.

Yeah. I like that. Test our depth a bit. I am confident we can win with these guys.

I’m as confident a Texas bball fan as any and I feel this is a throwaway game for schloss to get experience for some guys and lose. Go get some rest and avoid injury. Hope to be wrong as I think we can win if the offense can score some runs.

“we’re gonna play until somebody tells us we can no longer play”

What a leader, so inspirational

The SEC honks talk up aggy because they don't fear them.  They don't respect them and they don't really care about the bumpkins from College Station.  They absolutely FEAR Texas though.  Probably more than they should because they've crafted a grand conspiratorial narrative that Texas is going to just lay waste to the college athletics landscape and nobody will have a chance to compete.  It's laughable, but I do love to listen to them piss their pants daily on the Paul Finebaum daily slop show brought to you by retarded gas bags.

Yeah well we were in the same mode against OU and we still won on Saturday.

Besides most of the other teams have the same mentality. And we have two weeks really between the end of the regular season the the Regionals. Unless you are injured or something I am not sure who needs to lay on the couch for that long. How much rest do we need? Is one or two baseball games really that exhausting for baseball players?

I heard it.

What he meant was, "Kaeden Kent plays in the SEC, which makes his dad the greatest offensive second baseman to ever play."

It’s certainly a 6yo mindset.

“I’ll keep playing outside until my parents call me in to stop.”

Wouldn't it be amazing if Texas and aggy both made it to the final and Texas sent them home and ruined their AQ chance? That would be the ultimate analogy to the above mindset.

Also important to make opponents to try to kill themselves trying to find video, even high school video, of pitchers that haven't pitched much this season.

Welp. Yep, his career at A&M is over. Not that it’s that much earlier than it would have been.

Another Lesson: Wear a Jeff Bagwell mega-padded-glove on your lead batting hand to avoid season-ending/long-recovery broken-hand injuries.

It only took twice for it to happen for Jeff to finally change and put on the damn mega-padded-glove since pitchers tried to bust him inside with pitches all the time. Or was it 3 times?

Point taken....but in this case, Lord Tubbington's was on the back paw.
