This is such bullshit.

MSU yes, we faced the backup.

Oklahoma, nope they had moved on from Arnold.

Georgia - nope

Vanderbilt - nope

Florida - yes

Arkansas - nope

Kentucky - yes after the starter got benched that is a coaching decision just like OU.

aggy - nope you had moved on from Weigman several games before

Georgia - not really since we knocked their starter out of the game.

Florida - maybe

OU - likely

So, it's more like 4 times in our 11 SEC games.

Yeah, but Looch wrote "something like seven" and in an Aggie version of math four is basically the same thing as seven.

That's the worst news possible.  He'll play against Texas with a club-hand and complete 28 of 31 for 500 yards and 7 TDs.

nope, it means the backup will run for 100 and throw for 400.

It's almost October, aggy is undefeated and in the top 10 for a moment, and Looch can't stop making excuses for how many games Texas is about to win.

They all know what is coming.

Tin foil hat on....  the news about Mateer and Lagway is just noise to throw preparation off. In reality they are just holding them back to energize them for game-day against us. 😉

I will be absolutely fucking flabbergasted if this team manages to go 10-2. The interior of the offensive line is a tire fire of mediocrity. Our skill position players are comprised of JAGs as far as the eye can see. Our quarterback appears to be a head case who needs to play one of the worst teams in FBS to "get right". Our offensive coordinator has a fucking seizure every time the offense moves inside of the 20 yard line. And we balance all of that with being one of the most penalized teams in the country.

We have an elite defense and an elite punter. Unless Sark decides to start managing games like we're the 2001 Ravens, we aren't sniffing the playoffs.

Well, I've seen mediocre offensive line interiors play for national championships at Texas, so I don't think it's the limitation you do. I do not believe the skill position players are JAGs. I believe the panacea for head cases is getting little wins to build confidence. I do not know whether it happens with Manning. I just know it can. There's not a magic wand where Sam Houston State is some kind of cure all pill, but there is a reality where performing well week after week cures him of the yips. That's not some kind of delusion on my part. That's how it works.

Texas has had issues inside the red zone the last two years and yet Texas still made the playoffs. Again, I don't see it as the limitation you do.

I look at our schedule and it looks very manageable to me. Like the saying goes, I don't have to outrun the bear, I just have to outrun the guy next to me. And the guy next to me - as in our future opponents - do not scare me all that much other than Georgia, and they have their own issues as well. Plus that's so far down the road let's see what each team is doing heading into that week.

The offense is not a rolling ball of butcher knives, admittedly. But the defense is. And I believe the offense has a lot more potential upside than you do, with a long runway to get there, thanks to the defense and the opponents.

Sweet OU will be playing a backup QB. We always shut backup QBs down

I get the reference but for specifically OU...

2009: Landry Jones comes in. OU gets 13

2021: Caleb Williams comes in. OU wins with 55.

222: Davis Beville plays. OU gets shutout.

2024: Hawkins plays. OU gets 3.

Pretty decent for our defense. This year feels eerily similar to 2009 with the ratio of how good our team is compared to how much whining about our team our fans are doing. Plus some of the offensive struggles.

MSU would have needed more help than their starter > backup delta to win that one.

Tim Tebow wouldn't have done shit last year for UF - they got fucking smoked.

Also both Texas playoff teams featured multiple wins by our own backup QBs.
