Is there like a FB Marketplace or something I'm not aware of?

Hey man, I'm just quoting another poster. If that guy is aware of one, I would also like to know.

Not coaching, but definitely related

In late 2022 LSU extended Scott Woodward's contract as athletic director for the University.

Under that contract, Woodward currently makes approximately $1.85 million per year and is under contract through April 2029.

With approximately 3.5 years to go, LSU would owe Woodward nearly $6.8 million if they were to fire him in the next month. Based on the Governor's public statements today that Scott Woodward will not select the next football coach; it brings into question whether Woodward will remain employed by the University much longer. LSU is expected to select a new President of the University as early as next week.

Supposedly he wants the Tech job.

Makes sense. He did everything he could to stop the 2020 season when OU had to replace Hurts with freshman Rattler (they still won the Big 12 anyway--thanks Herman). Then he was scared of the SEC. Now he's scared of ND. Seems like he only wants to coach if he feels he has an inherent advantage over the competition, which Tech can provide. But he'll never win anything. He's a soft bitch and all of his teams reflect that.

So according to this guy and his industry sources,  TCU and Baylor are considered to be good jobs along with Texas? Huh,  as a proud, but honest TCU alum, I might have to question than that and wonder if our Florida reporter has been drinking Snake Juice with any Louisiana elected officials.

You mean like Sark was going to do?

Elko with Knowles (if he stayed) at PSU would be scary

There are rumors that Knowles is looking to go back to Oklahoma State. His new, much younger wife is an OK native and wants to get back home.

Now look up the ou quarterbacks that sark beat

I don’t give a fuck who ou has on their team. It could be the 85 bears or the little giants and I expect Texas to go belt to ass every time all the time. Fuck those guys.

This would not be the first time a governor of Louisiana insisted that he call the plays on Saturday for the Tigers.

SIAP. The gift that keeps on giving.

Trying to tell these folks what a badass sark is. Do yourself a favor and don’t look up his and Charlie’s winning percentage though.  Sark needs to marinate at a good school

I don’t think you’re smarter than me

Whats the latest with Traylor? Is he gonna make the jump during this round?

Probably - guess it depends on the Texas school dominoes

Baylor could open up
TCU could open up
SMU could open up if Lashlee jumps to a bigger job

Texas isn't going to, unless Sark leaves for the NFL, and he's not getting the job here
Tech isn't going to open up, unless Joey gets a new job somewhere in the tier above Tech
Houston isn't going to open up

aggy could open up if Elko jumps to Penn State

aggy would think it's above Jeff Traylor coming off a meh season at UTSA.

Baylor, not so much.

Oh I agree.  But I think Traylor has always seen himself as someone who was destined for one of the big 3 in Texas - if aggy opens up, he will try for it, but unlikely to get it.  Baylor or TCU is a good bet for him.

are you thinking TCU opens up because Dykes retires or moves up somewhere ?

He gonna keep PK?  Cause even if his offense is lights out his defenses are pretty awful till this year I believe.

Why is everyone so high on him? I like what he's doing in North Texas but doesn't have a lot before that.

The new hot G5 guy.  Eric Morris is the new Jeff Traylor who was the new Tom Herman who was the Charlie Strong

Texas is not hiring a G5 coach if Sark left. Sark isn't leaving and he's not getting fired, so it's moot.

I didn’t look at the third year thing but there’s still no evidence he can sustain success. Also three years to turn around Nebraska? Man they really are now permanently among the class of mid programs.
