When do we start naming refs and can we leave reviews on their social media?

I just watched the game and have read zero commentary other than the last few posts. It seemed obvious by the end of the game that the refs were crooked. That two point conversion attempt was just bizarre, as there was no replay that showed the ball reaching the goal line. In fact, the closest the ball got was short of the pylon.

What's the fucking replay for if not to help a judgement call on a really close play. Total fuck job on that

The offset camera did not pick up the one frayed lace of the ball crossing 1mm into the plane of the end zone. This is basic football and you should be ashamed for not knowing this.

Secondary running around covering grass, staring at the QB, with no clue on the location of the receivers. Just beyond stupid.

That is what an Akina-coached zone has always looked like.

I have absolutely no belief in Sark. Just repeatedly does the stupidest shit to make games close when they shouldn’t be.

Then he mentions it to the sideline reporter where it sure sounds like he's throwing the players under the bus. The team is a reflection of their coach.

This shit happens way too often for it to NOT be on Sark because it never gets fixed.

K

I will give him all the credit in the world for turning around the program since Herman, but what has he shown us to inspire confidence in his in-game decision making? It has been consistently poor when it matters most.

But hey, at least your Mustangs are about to help out our playoff chances.

Was just about to post the same. They stare at the QB while leaving the guys they are supposed to be covering wide open. This is Akina special.

We also started playing “clock offense” with the big lead in the second half. They need to play like they are behind regardless of score.

Exactly. Sark needs to learn not to fucking turtle anymore.

Kade Phillips and Xavier Filsaime played alot of football today really for the first time. They got worked but freshman dbs who've never played usually get worked before they get better. Like Taafe, who we will be glad to have back. And Im glad we still won even though the 3 freshman dbs took some licks

I mean- you are probably wrong. We’d have 3 quality wins and no bad losses. Might want the one loss the be to Georgia. It’s probably 2 out of 3 we get in at 9-3.

No bad losses?  Florida?

So much this. Prevent defense prevents winning and running clock offense does as well.

Bye week will be huge. Need Taaffe back

If Taaffe isnt back that Georgia hillbilly QB is going to throw for 400 on us.

Who would have thought 2 years ago that sentence could ever be seriously said.

Our safeties are trash. Filsame is horrible. Derek Williams is a shell of his freshman self.

And nothing will happen, there will be no consequences, and that ref crew will continue to steal money from the SEC all season long.  Infuriating.

the 2015 texas osu referee graudated to the nfl and is now a ref there after holding lower positions since in the nfl snce 2016. its like he made his bones in that game and got the hell out of dodge. and wikipedia doesnt have his name. Alan Ack.

The bust today were nothing to do with alignment.

The end of first half TD was literally because of alignment.

This. With a dangerous O/QB and our soft DBs need as many points as possible.

This team is a little jaggy and Taaffe being out has really hurt the D. All that falls on Sark, too, but I'll give him credit for sifting through the shit and keeping the wheels on this season.

Vandy is good. That's a good win.

Have to see the rest of the field, but it's very possible 3-loss would be in the playoffs.  You are essentially punishing the non-conf OSU-Texas game if not.

I agree with everything you said. I also have no faith in his ability not to create a close game when it shouldn’t be. Texas was up 34-10 in the 4th quarter, Sark turtles for absolutely no reason, and we saw what happened.

What is the side judge’s responsibility on that play?  Yeah it probably crossed the plane?  He couldn’t have definitely seen it cross because it didn’t.
