Moore if goes to NFL now is maybe late Day 3 or more likely UFA... He better wise up and find another college gig for 2026.    Btw I also previously heard the same 2025 NIL crap Moore pulled as mentioned above by @someguy

(Moore threatened to transfer near the end of the portal window last year and leveraged a pay bump)

I'm glad Texas didn't elect to have Moore return for 2026 -- really hope we find a much more explosive WR to replace him.

Well I'm late on this, but Moore made the right choice and went the portal route instead of NFL Draft...

No it means they're bringing in a better running back.  Wisner wants to be the main guy which is best for him.  It's best for Texas to upgrade at rb.  It's a business decision for both sides.

Yup. He sees Baugh at the door.

Jesus Christ our fans sometimes. Losing Wisner is not even close to a disaster. Everyone get a fucking hold of themselves.

The fact that a RB with 3 seasons under his belt is hitting the portal and not the draft, is a clear sign that it is not a disaster. Good player and I would love to have him back, but this is not a disaster.

Not a disaster, but hard to let him go after what he’s done for the team and how he’s fucked up our rivals.

However, if it means we’re bringing in Baugh and/or another IZ capable back, then it’s 100% what’s best for the team. Sark needs to be able to run his preferred offense if we want to compete with the OSUs and Georgias of CFB.

It’s is when you consider we also have 3 other RBs leaving. I’m not sure we have any positive rushing yards returning for ‘26.

I hope he gets a chance and blows the doors off at another school. He’s fucking OWNED AGGY and Gooners the past 2 seasons.

His agent wanted 1M for next year, per Bobby Burton. That’s absolutely fucking laughable to me.

Woooooof. That’s WWWAAAYYY too much

Jesus christ guys. He was a fringe nfl draft pick after this year. Sure, dude had his ceiling but he was a fucking baller considering his limitations. Also, there isnt anyone on the CURRENT roster/RB room that is even close to as good as he is/was

Not sure why you wouldnt just pay a mil for one more year, instead of putting all our eggs in the Baugh/true freshman Cooper basket

Also, Sark really fucked up by hiring Scott instead of Drayton. He REALLY REALLY mismanaged the past 12 months, holy fuck

Are those are only two choices?

Any idea what we will pay to get the top guy out of the portal? Probably 2x that.

i just checked in on this on Coffee and Football. Bobby does not sound happy about the way Wisner handled this. Did not even call the staff.

Any updates at all on Baugh?

Next year better be Jadan Baugh starting and being backed up by Derrek Cooper, or this will be a hot mess of a RB room.

I’ll have fond memories of him, especially the ou and aggie games. But it is a bit surprising that he didn’t tell the staff himself. Wonder if he got some poor counsel from his agent or family.

Let's be honest. The RB room has been a hot mess for 2 years.

this is good for the long term health of the program.  It is good to establish that the team won't overpay for non-premium talent for nostalgia reasons.

Maybe.

maybe we get a dude who can also run for yardage against teams that aren’t OU or Aggy.

This too.

i wish he would have been realistic in his income ask…. Instead he asked for the moon.

i seriously doubt he gets anywhere near that amount in the portal.

Simon is coming back. Baxter and Clark are broken, they needed to get replaced in any CFB era.

That doesn’t sound like “they have a better rb lined up”. That sounds like a mercenary move and now sark has to go find a good or at least decent rb to replace Wisner and find a stud to carry the offense. This will be fine. Muschamp will fix it.

Simon has a chance to be a really good player.

Baxter-who knows what his future holds. 5* body and measurables, but 2* production. Still recovering from injury.

Clark-who knows. Still recovering from injury.
