2026 CFP Quarterfinals Rose Bowl - #1 Indiana vs. #9 Alabama

Featured Replies

It still amazes me that Cignetti toiled away at small schools for decades and as soon as he gets a P4 job in his early 60’s, he’s easily a top 3 coach in college football. The guy is like Roy Hobbs

I celebrate their whole catalog.

I mean I absolutely love Queen, but this is a Bama vs Indiana broadcast after all.

DeBoer was a can’t miss too - he’s not a one QB wonder coach, he’s done nothing but win everywhere he’s been. How he’s fucking up Bama is beyond me.

I ain’t ever heard of him until the night penix lite us up with odunze and the other dude

Won't matter. Rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Deboer just doesn't realize it yet.

At least he is doing something. McGuire just sat there for three plus quarters doing nothing and letting a perfectly good defense play the whole game before they finally collapsed then he trotted out a new QB for a few plays well too late.

Trenches. Saban could get anyone he wanted in the trenches. Deboer doesn't have anywhere near that level of juice.

Queen as sung at a highschool senior's talent show isnt excellent musoc

Think this showing means Simpson is coming back. Dante Moore probably going pro.

He might actually get fired. They'll figure it out later.

I wonder how many offers Cig has had this past year. Nothing seems to move the needle. I think he knows Indiana can go on a run with Cuban’s money with all the new HC changes in the Big 10 and the fact Day is a dolt.

Outstanding comment!

Cignetti owes Indiana $15million if he leaves for another job. Seems doable

If he can win Titles there… why leave? The earth is flat now.

Simpson getting colt McCoyed is beautiful karma

totally different situation but probably just a good excuse to put in the backup.

There's no way if Bama is serious about winning, start this dork next year.

The reports of the SEC’s demise have been greatly exaggerated

Couple of hot takes from page 2.

I disagree about losing Simpson. The comparison isn't there for me. We lost Colt on the first drive and if memory serves Colt was 2-2, and on his way to leading the team to the first of many TDs. Until Alabama loses an All-American QB on the first drive of a national Championship game, Karma has not spoken.

It’s almost like he was on the committee. Putting in ND that first week over Miami was peak incompetence. Then realizing their mistake and correctly putting in Miami over them and watching Notre Dame melt down like the wicket which was even better. But the best is teams saying nah we don’t want to give you a notch on your schedule eat shit. Such a great sequence of events we would not have but for a stupid committee

please let this be a proper bookend to the dynasty so we can watch Bama toil around bowl eligibility for a decade

Bama is never afraid to make a QB switch. That should be a lesson for everyone. And if you’re gonna do it do it at the half.

I mean, Surly could raise a few thousand.

Your move, Regents.

I think it’s more NIL the portal and Texas tbh. Saban saw the writing on the wall.

He tucked his tail and ran once he saw he couldn't just hoard all the talent by paying them all under the table and stacking the deck against everyone. He's like an old man yelling at the clouds when he speaks on today's game when Bama built their program by being doing this same shit but under the table.

This Austin Mack kid is pretty good. I remember he followed Deboer from Washington as a recruit. He looks significantly better than Simpson.

The fractured rib probably helped make the change...

I'm already bored.

It turns out that BamaJelly fans' first instinct to get rid of DaBore was correct when they tanked against the FL-school-for-girls in Tallahassee, because unless they clone Penix and his WRs that caught everything thrown their way, BamaJelly ain't gonna be back to the CFP next year even if they expand it to 16.

I'm all for SEC opponents being Stoopit and wasting years & money, though. By all means, keep DaBore! Lulz.

Ty Simpson filling in his portal paperwork on the sideline right now

doesn't mean he'd be back at Bama, though that is the likely outcome. have to separate NFL talk from College talk. your 3 QBs on draft boards were Mendoza, Moore and Simpson. talk was Moore was leaning towards coming back but I think when you are almost certainly going to be at worst the #2 QB picked, you have to think about leaving.

He doesn't. He just looks different they've already settled in and adjusted to him it seems. Dude has some wheels though.

I mean it happened against Georgia in the SEC champ game. They also got dominated to start this season against Florida St. Bama fans should get used to this now. That mystique is gone.

You're not wrong.
