New Jersey Wedding Goes... Exactly the Way You Think

Before there was Floda’ there was New Jersey.

Obligatory Sorry for Partying

A little more fluff detail here.

A New Jersey man has been charged with sexually assaulting a teenage waitress and then starting a fight at his own wedding reception.

Matthew Aimers, 31, of Willingboro, was arrested on suspicion of a string of offenses, including indecent assault, indecent exposure, imprisonment of a minor, simple assault and resisting arrest following incidents at the reception held at the Northampton Valley Country Club in Pennsylvania in November 2018.

According to an affidavit, seen by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Aimer allegedly asked a teenager who was waitressing the event whether she would like to "go outside and make out."

The waitress told police Aimers also propositioned her by suggesting that they could do "whatever you want," reports the New York Post.

When she rejected his advances, Aimers is accused of following the girl into the women's bathroom, where he sexually assaulted her and exposed himself.

According to prosecutors, Aimers also offered the waitress $100 as part of another preposition before she was able to flee the bathroom.

The reception then continued as normal until police were later called to reports of a fight at the club. When officers arrived, they found Aimers "pushing and punching people." The fight is reported to have broken out after Aimers became aggressive towards a club employee who told the groom that he couldn't bring alcohol outside the venue.

Aimers is then accused of ignoring police and getting a parked shuttle bus, prompting one officer to board with his Taser drawn. Aimers then insulted the officer and attempting to goad him into a fight, according to the affidavit.

He was then arrested following another brief struggle with police when he got off the bus.

Aimers was eventually charged with indecent assault, indecent exposure, imprisonment of a minor, harassment, simple assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a fight with police.

He was released from jail after posting 10 percent of a $350,000 bail, court records reveal. He is due to next appear in court on February 21 to face the charges.

Aimers' attorney Louis Busico said his client "absolutely denies all charges."

"He maintains his innocence, and he looks forward to clearing his name when this is all concluded," Busico told the Philadelphia Inquirer.

CSB time: about a year and a half ago, I went to a wedding in nj, male cousin of the current gf (no pics). The party was nice and all but about half way through, the father of the groom got pissed at something the reception hall did and was yelling at everyone and nearly started a fight on the stairs right outside the ballroom in the main foyer area. Something about not being allowed to bring in outside liquor. So he left pissed off and never came back to his own son's wedding. Then the groom got involved in a different shouting match and he was also screaming at some random shit. He almost got kicked out. There were at least 2 other shouting matches with the reception hall staff but forgot who was involved.

And a few months ago, found out the bride was actually secretly a lesbian and is now living with her gf. NJ weddings are nuts.

Yes, please, no pics of male cousin.  However, gf pics are always encouraged here on the Surl.

I wasn't at a jersey dinner once and these thots were arguing about something something being arrested and a name change.  One thot told the other thot to "pay attention" and then second thought flipped the table and bucked up to fight.  Biatches be crazy in Joyzy.

Wonder what that preposition was. My money's on 'into.'

I assumed the phrase was “I’ll give you $100 for,” but considering the progression from “let’s make out in the parking lot” to where the night ended, you’re probably right. I’m going to stick this $100 into...

i also attended a NJ wedding once. it was the biggest, most elaborate and without a doubt the most expensive wedding we've ever attended.

15 bridesmaids/attendants, pre-reception 'reception' with black tie waiters, fancy country club location, open bar, lobster and filet mignon for probably 250 people.

bride's dad was a cop. mom didn't work. groom's single mom was a teacher.

we came away 100% convinced there was 'funny money' funding it. but, no fights, and it was a helluva good time!
