North Carolina vs South Carolina should be interesting.....

And of course the North Dame hype machine gets in gear with what should be an easy win against Louisville.   Sports media will make it out to be a big deal.

Houston Baptist vs UTEP--- Yawn

Texas State vs aggy-   I wish Texas State could give them a game.

Alabama vs Duke-   This might be closer one than most think.   Of course the SEC refs will come in for the win for Bama, but Duke just may give them hell for a good chunk of the game.

How Did you manage to find a photograph of the only for unattractive girls at Texas State?

fWIW- 95% chance that our Louisiana Tech game will be at 7:00 PM on the Longhorn network .

That is so small-time for programs that think so highly of themselves.

I'm all for more CFB, but there is something about the 0 week games that never feel right. The season should always start the Thursday before Labor Day.

I hear you but I am so starved for football by August that I will watch anything at any time and not have a second thought about it.

Almost all times have been released

http://www.lsufootball.net/tvschedule.htm

Here's my tentative plan

Week 0

Saturday August 24

Villanova @ Colgate 11AM CBSSN (don't care still watching)

Florida (-7.5) vs Miami 6:00 ESPN

Arizona @ Hawaii (-11.5) 9:30 CBSSN

Week1

Thursday August 29

UCLA @ Cincinnati (-3.5) 6:00 ESPN (until start of GaTech/Clemson)

Georgia Tech @ Clemson (-34) 7:00 ACCNetwork

Utah (-6) @ BYU 9:15 ESPN (fun night cap)

Friday August 30

Wisconsin (-11) @ South Florida 6:00 ESPN

Colorado State vs Colorado (-11) 9:10 ESPN or Oklahoma State (-16.5) @ Oregon State 9:30 FS1 (probably stick with the battle of the osu's unless it gets too out of hand and Rocky Mountain is close game)

Saturday August 31

11AM Flip around but focus in on Indiana State @ KU (FSN) to see what's going on the first game in Lawrence.

South Carolina (-7.5) vs North Carolina 2:30 (ESPN) is must watch tv

SFA@ Baylor 6:00 (ESPN+) I'm sure I'll watch BU even though I won't spend a dime attending until major reforms happen (so never)

Fresno State @ USC (-12.5) 9:30 (ESPN)

Sunday September 1

Houston @ Oklahoma (-25.5) 6:30 ABC

Monday September 2

Notre Dame(-19.5) @ Louisville 7:00 ESPN

Only 73 days and counting...so many great games and not enough time slots. I wish we had 2 or 3 more FBS matchups on Sunday to spread out the awesomeness a bit.

Auburn and Oregon in Dallas..what in the actual fuck..

Maybe we should schedule a game with Meatchicken at the LA colloseum, or vs tOSU in Atlanta..

You must be new to how college football works now. This is normal. LSU and Oregon played at Jerry World to open the 2011 season. So many lame ass neutral site games are watering down the game. What makes college football great is the unique stadiums and the atmosphere. You lose all of that when you put them in these sterile professional stadiums. Especially Jerry World. Watching football is terrible there.

Also, Your typical SEC team not traveling out of the south to play a road game.

I was interested and took a look at all future games outside of the region (I didn't count games in Texas or Oklahoma):

-Alabama: @ West Virginia in 2026, @ Notre Dame in 2028

-Arkansas: @ Notre Dame 2020, @ BYU 2022,

-Auburn:  @ Penn State in 2021, @ Cal in 2023, @ UCLA 2027

-Florida: @ Colorado in 2029

-Georgia: @ UCLA in 2025

-Kentucky: None scheduled

-LSU: @ UCLA in 2021, @ Arizona State in 2030

-Ole Miss: None scheduled

-Mississippi State: @ Arizona in 2022, @ Arizona State in 2024, @ Minnestoa in 2026

-Missouri: @ Wyoming in 2019, @ BYU in 2020, @ Boston College in 2021, @ Kasnas State in 2022, @ UMass in 2024, @ Colorado in 2025, @ Illinois in 2026 and 2028, @ San Diego State in 2027 and 2032

-South Carolina: None scheduled

-Texas A&M :@ Colorado in 2021, @ Notre Dame in 2025,  @ Arizona State in 2027

-Tennessee: @ Pitt in 2022, @ BYU in 2023, @ Nebraska in 2026

-Vanderbilt: @ Purdue in 2019, @ Kasnas State in 2020, @ Colorado State in 2021, @ Hawaii in 2022, @ UNLV in 2023, @ Stanford in 2024, @ Colorado State in 2026, @ Stanford in 2027

Some improvement for sure, but let's not forget the schools currently get 4 noncon games every year.

It would be nice if the army navy game bounced around the country in huge venues. I would catch that in a second if in Dallas or Houston.

My wtf isn't about the neutral site, NFL stadium game,.that's old hat. What I don't like is two teams from states that don't even border Texas coming into our backyard for recruiting purposes, no other reason. What about arrowhead stadium? That swanky new viking ship in Minny? Both are roughly halfway between both Schools..
