  1. I cannot take a person seriously once they accuse anyone else of having TDS. If you bring up TDS for any reason other than to mock its very existence and those who consider it a real problem, I lose all respect for you. Derangement implies that someone has lost the capacity for rational thought or behavior, to some degree, a mental illness. Trump is a rapist and serial sex abuser, a racist, a narcissist, a liar, a mastermind of misinformation who has torn apart the very fabric of truth in our country, an insurrectionist, a failed businessman, and a felon. He manipulated millions of people to elect him to the highest office in the world so that he can abuse power to cover up his own crimes and failures, deny basic rights to everyday Americans as well as poor and needy people around the world, all while making his family and associates more wealthy. He is destroying our country with the help of people like Hegseth (also a rapist and an alcoholic) and RFK Jr (a complete nutjob and possibly a sex abuser). When you think about the long term negative impacts Trump will have on issues like climate change, public health, and information integrity, he will almost certainly be the worst American politician in history and perhaps one of the worst humans in history. It would be nearly impossible to overreact to Trump in a manner that could be considered deranged. Anyone with a rational mind and even a tiny level of concern for the general welfare of people around them and the world in general should be completely outraged just about every time he speaks or makes one of his daily idiotic racist online posts. If anything, our world is crumbling and we are all under reacting as we go about our lives. If the term TDS could possibly exist, it would only be fair to apply it to people who support him and are brainwashed into thinking he does anything for any reason except his own ego, wealth, or to spite his enemies. Which would include you, Skipper. Sorry if we don’t give Trump much credit for a military operation of questionable success and long term importance. We aren’t lining up to praise Hitler’s art collection either, so maybe we just have a bad case of HDS.

  2. I am now absolutely cheering for Texas to go after Estrada. It’s a win-win for this board. If he sucks, we get to mock Helobious. If he’s awesome, it emboldens Helobious to get even more outlandish with his nonsense, and it helps Texas.

  3. How about you compare. Compare to any other military operation in any administration. Unless you're talking about a singular or final goal (like killing OBL, or obtaining the unconditional surrender of Japan), they don't use such insane hyperbole as this one (and even then, the statements are broader and not stated to be 100% self-aggrandizing. Obama didn't say "only I could have led our military to kill Bin Laden.") Nobody has a problem with an admin talking up a military operation. Sure, it's what they do. The issue here is that 1) nothing this admin is connected with is ever anything LESS than "the most amazing bestest ever, all of history is now eclipsed by what we just did," and 2) the results have to be "complete and total annihilation/obliteration," saying it's anything less is TREASON and DISLOYALTY TO OUR TROOPS. It was a good mission, well-planned and well-run. It likely had some real impact on Iran's nuclear program. They could say that, and it would be like every other admin in history. When you minimize and normalize the utterly insane and abnormal batshittery spouted by this clownshow, you only beclown yourself.

  6. Nobody anywhere doubted it could be pulled off especially against the Iranian military. The issue currently is his and his minions' insistence on always having to be the bestest or greatest thing ever which is a complete insult to the people who fought prior wars against legitimate enemies in some of the most complex and tactical missions ever conceived and executed upon. Flying a plane into the desert and dropping some bombs on a mountain surrounded by goat fuckers pales in comparison. Sure its complex and well executed, but the puffery and comparisons are what are insanely idiotic and unnecessary.

  14. As a retired military officer, I'd much rather leave the enemy with a sense of dread and a question of "how the fuck did they do that?" than get praise in the papers. When the press asked FDR where the bombers in Doolittle raid launched from, he simply said "our new base in Shangri-La." OPSEC continues even after the mission is complete, meathead (Hegseth).

  16. Changing the names of Navy ships. The Trump administration is having the USNS Harvey Milk re-named. They've also delayed the start of a ship to be called the Thurgood Marshall. From the CBS story; Harriet Tubman may be the bravest American in history or certainly in that class of the courageous who cannot be surpassed. I'm ashamed that I didn't know her story until the last decade. Milk was a dive instructor in the Navy until he was discharged for being gay. They had to throw him out of the service. Donald Trump couldn't be dragged into the service. He'd have gone down on the recruiting officer if getting a gay deferment were his only option. The kernels of corn in the shit of every person named above outshine Donald Bonespurs Trump. Racisim, sexism, homophobia all on display via the Navy due to the shitwad president and the ocean of shitwads who either voted for him or couldn't be bothered to vote at all. Goodnight, America.

  17. Is it because choice was the only reason he was considering Texas in the first place and immediately eliminated us when choice left? And Chad busted ass to get us in the final two? Choice is a Unicorn. We’re lucky we had him and he left us a stocked room.

  19. Gerry Thursday recruiting update 1. OTF still likes where Texas sits with 4-star++ DL Kendall Guervil 2. OTF likes Georgia more for 4-star+ S/LB Chace Calicut 3. OTF believes 4-star++ DL James Johnson could go either way. 4. OTF likes where Texas sits with 5-star OT John Turntine III 5. Confidence remains for Texas with 5-star LB Xavier Griffin. OTF will continue to check to see if that remains, of course. 6. OTF likes where Texas sits with OT Felix Ojo. Early July decision likely. 7. 4-star++ CB Samari Matthews could go wither way with Texas and South Carolina. A little more Longhorns chatter today. 8. Texas very much in it with 4-star++ DB Davon Benjamin. Oregon is all in, however. This one could play out another month or so.

  21. lol, ok. For years valet has been comped do to the wife and her addiction to that shit. We pull up and most times are greeted by name. She shows her players card and I give them my cell number since im mostly the driver. They will immediately send a text to respond to when you are ready for your vehicle. A few hours later it's time to go. I respond to text and immediately get automated response that we owe 20 bucks instead of the usual your vehicle will be here in 5 to 10 min. I go over to the valet ticket counter inside and ask what's going on. This little motherfucker manning the booth bowed up and said it's always been that way and we will need to pay to get our car. I responded nope not paying. He tried to argue and I shut him down pretty quick. He then ask if I wanted to speak to a supervisor. I said "absofuckinglutely I do" and walked off to get my wife's players card because I knew they were going to need it eventually. We come back to the counter and there is a female supervisor. I ask her what was going on and she said we needed to pay, where is your ticket and players club. I put them on the counter she grabbed them stamped paid on the ticket and told me that if I ever cuss one of her employees again I was banned. I told her that I didn't cuss anyone. Immediately that guy popped around the corner, tears in his eyes, lips shivering and said, "you said absofuckinglutely". I responded, you ask me a question. I grabbed my valet ticket looked at him and said you are a pussy. Last thing I heard was that women yelling "you're banned, you're banned". Another supervisor brought the car around and told me the same. lol.

  23. Fuck off with that bullshit. Multiple articles have already been linked here stating that the site suffered severe damage. I know that I've posted at least a couple that have said the same thing. Not a single soul has denied or disputed that. There have been in-depth discussions, specifically speculating whether the delicate centrifuges could have survived the blast, depending on how they were stored and packed, or if they were just left in place or moved off-site. Do not confuse mocking premature celebrations of total OBLITERATION by the rah-rah-rah clownshitshow brigade with being happy that Iran might still retain the capacity to make a bomb. No one here wants that.

"rampant TDS" gives away the game skipper...even if you try to do a rex and say "he's a buffoon and i don't give a shit what that idiot says." anyone that actually feels that way would never use an absolutely idiotic term like "rampant TDS." next time, just go eat another 50 donuts or some shit.

  32. All I know is, America will "course correct" in 2026/2028, followed by a boomerang back to American fascism in 2030/2032 because Democrats didn't fix everything in 1 term. That is the standard that the America media and "education" system and social media brain rot has put onto American voters - Democrats have to fix everything in 4 years or be punished harshly Republicans can break everything and then be voted back in to break it again.

  34. Operationally successful = All planes delivered bombs on target and returned home before is was published to the press on Signal. No one is arguing against this. Our Military can do things other nations cannot like replenishing fuel and weapons for ships while traveling at 20+ knots in a heavy fog. We don't do the complex missions or exercises for the sake of doing them, we do them to be able to complete a mission objective. Operationally Effective = objective of the mission is realized. On this one we can't even get the White House, Pentagon and Director of National Intelligence to agree on what the objective was. Granted there can be multiple objectives but Hegseth can't get them out in order without sounding drunk. Trump is focused on planes flying a dropping bombs "The pilots pulled off something never seen before!!!" and only occasionally remembers that you have to assess effectiveness of the bombing. Can you imagine an oncologist who was only concerned with delivering the chemo and not whether it killed the cancer? Was the Objective to: Prevent Iran from achieving a nuclear bomb in the next 2-5 years? - Unknown, saying there is a setback is fair but how big? Destroy the infrastructure to enrich uranium beyond 60% - Unknown, sure bombs were dropped but there is no BDA on the facilities under the mountain just satellite images from above. Analysts said before the operation that it could take successive missions. Destroy all current 60% uranium stockpiles - Unlikely, some reports are saying the stockpiles were moved before the mission. Cripple the corporate knowledge, research arm of Iran by killing the scientists - Partially effective. The people at the podiums are not serious people who can wait for the assessments to be complete so they front run it with their sensational stories because it doesn't matter if they are right when the real mission is something else.

  36. No one on this board is downplaying the military's job for political purposes. The Trump administration is clearly overselling an impressive operation because of....politics. Some on this board are wondering exactly how this sort of operation was as complex as the administration is claiming. Did they have to operate with radio and all other communications silence while coordinating? If there were multiple pilots, how does a 36 hour flight rise to the level of unprecedented and difficult? etc., etc.

  38. One thing I liked is him being grounded and not acting like he is something special. There was no need to mention the USC's 4th and 2 call but he owned that mistake and didn't spin it as anything else. Nobody asked him about him being jobless but he has mentioned it multiple times, and those of us who have gone through layoffs know how uncomfortable/embarrassing it is. He could act as a big shot UT head coach but he repeats that he is not ever going to take this job for granted. All these reveal more about character than the platitudes from "personality growth" guru TED talks. This doesn't mean that he is perfect but he is climbing the right mountain, occasional slips notwithstanding.
