Anyone taking shit about Kate after everything she has done needs to be negged into Bolivia.

Realize you're being facetious, but no one is to be equated with DKR. All the rest are mere mortals, well except for Bevo.

(Gabe Brooks) Under Armour Dallas: Top performers

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Sunday's Under Armour Dallas regional camp was the second in as many weeks in the Lone Star State, following last week's Houston event. While the Houston camp featured a Texas-exclusive roster, Sunday's Dallas camp included prospects from Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

Three Under Armour All-American Game invitations went out, as well as two Under Armour Future 50 invitations. Below is a rundown of the top performers from Sunday's Under Armour Dallas regional camp.

ALPHA DOG - PRINCE DORBAH

Dallas Highland Park 2020 edge defender Prince Dorbah, a four-star prospect on the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, was dominant during 1-on-1 competition. The athletic pass-rusher was simply too quick off the ball and too fast in general for the offensive tackles who faced him. He bends with relative ease and gets around the edge naturally, running the arc as you would hope a pass-rusher of his caliber would. Dorbah, who's coming off a 20-sack junior season for the Texas Class 5A Division I state championship team, measured 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, but was one of the most impressive prospects on the hoof at Sunday's event. He's accustomed to playing an odd-front end in a four-point stance, but could fit an even-front weak-side end or a standing edge player in college, depending on scheme. Dorbah owns more than a dozen offers and is ranked No. 11 nationally among 2020 weak-side ends, as well as No. 37 overall in Texas for his class.

NEXT FIVE DEFENSE - JAHARI ROGERS

Arlington (Texas) High School 2020 athlete Jahari Rogers has been recruited on both sides of the ball and owns 20 offers from schools nationwide. On Sunday, Rogers played defense, showing his skills in the secondary. Rogers showed why a number of schools view him as a cornerback, a spot where his length makes him particularly intriguing. Rogers shows encouraging fluidity and lateral athleticism for a player with a 6-foot frame and length. Rogers is coming off a junior season at quarterback that saw him throw for almost 2,700 yards, 31 touchdowns, and nine INT's, while rushing for more than 800 yard and 15 more scores. 247Sports ranks Rogers as the No. 40 athlete nationally in his class.

LORANDO JOHNSON

Lancaster (Texas) High School 2020 four-star cornerback Lorando Johnsonmay have had the most pass breakups of any cornerback we saw at Sunday's event. Johnson got his bearings during 1-on-1's and improved throughout that portion of the camp, before assembling a strong afternoon in half-skeleton competition. Johnson seemed to do everything in his power to get as many reps as possible, too. The 6-foot, 181-pounder owns more than 20 offers, including reported offers in the past 10 days from Ohio State, Arizona, and Michigan. The 247Sports Crystal Ball has three forecasts to date in favor of LSU.

KEITHIAN "BEAR" ALEXANDER

Only a freshman, 2022 defensive tackle Keithian Alexander lived up to his nickname "Bear." The 6-foot-3, 320-pounder was a force on the interior during 1-on-1's against older offensive line competition. He showed encouraging quickness at the snap and didn't just bull rush, which is frowned upon in these camp settings. He beat his opponents with quickness and nuance that makes him quite the promising 2022 defensive tackle. Alexander got his first Power Five offer in late January from Oklahoma State.

TYLER QUINN

Duncanville (Texas) High School defensive lineman Tyler Quinn was another young combatant to catch our attention Sunday. If you take a glance at the 6-foot-3, 240-pounder's sophomore tape, you'll find ample examples of his blocking ability as a tight end in a run-oriented power spread offense. However, Quinn worked on defense Sunday and repeatedly won his 1-on-1 reps with quickness and tenacity. Quinn got his first Division I offer last May from Alabama A&M. Expect more to come in the future.

MITCHELL TYLER

McKinnney (Texas) High School 2020 defensive end Mitchell Tyler was an under-the-radar senior-to-be who stood out during Sunday's linemen 1-on-1's. Built like a defensive end, he got some reps inside, which is interestingly where he has spent a lot of snaps for his high school team. His quickness and length paid dividends against the interior linemen who couldn't keep up with him during Sunday's 1-on-1's. Tyler got an offer last spring from the previous staff at Kansas and could be a 2020 sleeper to watch as this year's spring evaluation period looms on the calendar.

TOP FIVE OFFENSE - TRENT PULLEN

The most consistently dominant offensive line performance came from 2020 three-star Trent Pullen, a standout lineman with potential position versatility from Connally High School in Waco, Texas. Pullen has tackle experience, but manned the guard spot throughout Sunday's 1-on-1's, which he pretty much owned against whoever went against him. Pullen showed good short-area lateral agility and impressive phone booth strength once locked on his target. The 6-foot-2 1/2, 275-pounder was in serious contention for Alpha Dog. Pullen owns a dozen offers, including seven from P5 schools. Baylor owns the two 247Sports Crystal Ball forecasts made to date in Pullen's recruitment.

MYLES PRICE

A name that kept popping up as a standout during skill-position work was The Colony (Texas) High School 2020 athlete Myles Price, who repeatedly got open and made plays while lining up from the backfield and the slot. The 5-foot-9, 165-pounder has also been recruited at cornerback, and his natural football instincts and playmaking ability were on display during Sunday's camp. Price gets open with relative ease and can do damage after the catch. He owns 11 offers to date, reporting offers in the past month from Texas Tech, Colorado, Arizona State, and North Texas.

TOMMY BROCKERMEYER

Sunday's event marked the second time since mid-January that we've seen Fort Worth (Texas) All Saints' Episcopal 2021 offensive tackle Tommy Brockermeyer assemble a very strong performance against competition that is mostly a year older than him. The 6-foot-6, 268-pounder owns the requisite build for an elite offensive tackle prospect and flashes impressive mobility for a young player of his size. Brockermeyer was the most consistent offensive lineman next to Pullen. Only a sophomore, Brockermeyer has already hit double-digit offers, most recently picking up Iowa, TCU, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech.

HAYNES KING

One of the three players who earned an invitation to the Under Armour All-American Game, Longview (Texas) High School quarterback Haynes Kingstarted the day running a pair of blazing laser-timed 40's at 4.59 and 4.56 seconds. During 1-on-1's and half-skeleton competition, King started slow and got better and better as the afternoon progressed. He's outstanding in competitive environments, as evidenced by his 26-1 record as a starter, and that was on display in half-skel, when his leadership and accuracy took over at times. King is one of the top 2020 QB's in Texas and owns almost 20 offers nationwide. He's fresh off a 16-0 season that saw him lead Longview to the Texas Class 6A Division II state crown.

MARVIN MIMS

Frisco (Texas) Lone Star 2020 four-star receiver Marvin Mims was good enough Sunday to earn an invitation to the Under Armour All-America Game. The 6-foot, 165-pounder is far more put together than you might expect a player with his listed size. He's an athletic field-stretcher who can also get open in the short to intermediate. Mims has garnered a strong list of 25 offers nationwide and is ranked No. 24 overall regardless of position in the state of Texas, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.

UA GAME AND FUTURE 50 INVITATIONS

In addition to Haynes King and Marvin Mims, Denton (Texas) Ryan 2020 four-star jumbo athlete and Oklahoma commit Drew Sanders earned an invitation to the Under Armour All-America Game. Sanders assembled a solid day Sunday at tight end, where his 6-foot-5, 225-pound frame is often simply too much for defensive backs to handle, especially in the red zone.

Two class of 2021 prospects earned invitations to the Under Armour Future 50. Those spots went to aforementioned Fort Worth (Texas) All Saints' Episcopal offensive tackle Tommy Brockermeyerand Aledo (Texas) High School receiver JoJo Earle, who is coming off a huge sophomore season for the Texas Class 5A Division II state champion. Big Man Challenge winners were Frisco (Texas) Reedy 2020 offensive tackle/guard Nathan Anderson and aforementioned Waco (Texas) Connally 2020 offensive guard Trent Pullen. Anderson was solid in 1-on-1's and performed well during linemen testing.

AROUND THE CAMP

-- Duncanville (Texas) High School 2021 offensive tackle Savion Byrd impressed during 1-on-1's. He's long and athletic, and the only reps he lost that we saw were against a far smaller defender who was not a traditional defensive end. Byrd has also been recruited early on as a defensive end and owns 17 offers. Sunday's performance makes us think he will indeed be an offensive tackle at the next level.

-- Another 2021 offensive tackle who assembled a strong performance was Cedar Hill (Texas) Trinity Christian's Elijah Bowser, who won rep after rep thanks to a strong punch at the point of attack and wide build that made him difficult to circumnavigate. Bowser could also slide inside to guard in college.

-- Denton (Texas) Ryan 2021 receiver Billy Bowman flashed a few times during skill-position work. He is well-built for a 5-foot-10, 175-pounder and plays with impressive athleticism, particularly in his suddenness, which allows him to get open in tight spaces.

-- A couple of 2020 receivers who caught our eye at times during 1-on-1's and team drills were Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington four-star Javian Hester and The Colony (Texas) High School's Keith Miller. Both are taller, longer-framed wideouts and proved reliable end-zone targets during half-skel drills.

-- One of the better backs at Sunday's event was Mesquite (Texas) West Mesquite 2020 standout Ty Jordan, who repeatedly showed his ability to get open underneath and win matchups against linebackers. Jordan is a track athlete and also a weight-room monster relative to his 5-foot-7, 181-pound frame.

-- Flower Mound (Texas) Marcus 2021 quarterback Garrett Nussmeier led multiple successful possessions during half-skel work. The 6-foot, 166-pounder gets rid of the ball quickly and plays with a noticeably in-command demeanor. He already owns offers from Georgia Tech, LSU, Missouri, North Carolina, and UTSA.

-- Carthage (Texas) High School 2020 offensive tackle and Baylor commit Ty'kieast Crawford held his own in 1-on-1's in what marked his first elite camp experience. He was vulnerable to a couple of inside counters, but very difficult to beat to the outside. The 6-foot-5, 318-pounder boasted a size 18 shoe and was one of the best players on the hoof at the event.

If we sign Thompson (far left) and Jackson (far right), I'd be very happy.

Evans

Folks that have watched a lot of film on Evans, is there any concern that he is already so developed that he may not have much upside in college??

I watched him in the 2018 state championship game, and came away a little underwhelmed by his performance.

(Found this quote on the State Final:  "Duncanville (14-1) wouldn't allow Evans to flourish like he had been all season. He only had 11 carries for 38 yards through two quarters. He finished with 21 carries for 96 yards." )

So you're suggesting maybe he's NOT already "so developed", then?

You can say you don't like him.

(as for that state title game, the NS line as a whole, was getting killed by Duncanville's front. Zero push.

That quote had to be written by an aggy. So on his next 10 carries he was at 5.8 yds a carry against a really talented d. Did he suck then?

Duncanville had a stout ass Defense. They gameplanned to stop him. D Davis and Banks had big games because of that.

But he didn’t have a good game statistically speaking...

IT on Kendall Milton

The Clovis, CA., five-star running back made his way to Oklahoma and Texas for successive visits these past few days. He arrived in Austin on Friday and was supposed to leave on Saturday but stayed an extra day. Dates that go that well usually end in a pretty serious relationship but not always marriage.

When recruiting high profile out-of-state players, the goal should be to hit a home run on the first unofficial visit. At a minimum you need to secure an official visit, which I'm confident UT will get. There may even be another unofficial down the road. Kendall's father was unable to make the visit due to his own business trip but that may be a blessing in disguise if he visits with Kendall to survey the program as well. Kendall's mother did make the trip.

1. "It was a great visit. Being around the coaching staff and their families was a big part of what made it so great because it shows that once you get there they’ll treat you as their own."

Kendall mentioned before the visit wanting to get the family feel. It seems Texas has done well with families in general since Herman arrived. So we can check that box.

2. "Yessir, very prestigious school."

He's also mentioned business school as being a factor that could separate one school from the pack. Texas has about as good of a sell that "football school" can have.

3. Kendall's third factor was depth chart. We all know the depth chart is about as enticing as a "football school" can have. He would play a significant role day-one at Texas on what would be a championship caliber offense.

I asked him why he and his mother stayed through Sunday and he said, "Yeah we stayed there for two days and it was just to be able to get a deeper vision on the program."

The Miltons are going to go about the process intelligently. Like with Zach Evans the best you can do is jockey for position and be in the top group when it gets to crunch time. Texas is in fine position as of now. Let's see if they can get the Miltons back when Kendall's father, Chris, can make the trip. My feeling is Kendall holds his father's opinion in very high regard.

Final shot: I think Kendall would have been a USC kid if the Trojans weren't in the tank. That could portend good things for Texas like it did with Bru McCoy.

Evans could make minimal improvement and still be a great college RB. 0 concern. He can do it all. Run, pass, block. He’s got everything you’d want in a RB except for maybe 4.4 speed.

The state title game just goes to show that the RB position can be stopped by scheme/game plan.

Watch more than one game. Duncanville was probably the best team in the state (they lost on a fluke play) and they completely sold out to stop Evans, he still almost cracked 100.

It's certainly the same logic aggy is using to make themselves feel better about not landing him

I'm still a little miffed that Ricky Williams couldn't even break 100 yards against Oklahoma State in 1998. I know that they schemed against him, but still. Not a Heisman-worthy performance. Of course, they did give up over 400 yards passing to a guy who couldn't even beat out Chris Simms.

Makes me wonder if Ricky may have been overdeveloped out of High School...

The Stampede: Recruiting scoop from Las Vegas, UA Dallas

— When I first spoke to Bru McCoy at this time last year, I knew he was going to be tough for Texas to pull out of Southern California, but I got the sense that he was genuine in considering going out-of-state. McCoy talked about his strong bond with the coaching staff, wanting to get a new experience and fit in UT’s offense. If I played you my interview with five-star wide receiver Johnny Wilson from this weekend, it would sound almost exactly like McCoy’s. I spent so much time with Wilson this weekend, and his personality is so eerily similar to McCoy. At times I felt like I was talking to the same person.

— Now, I’m not saying Texas will close on Wilson like it did with McCoy, but the opportunity is there for the staff to do just that — yes, I am tempted to put in a Texas CB. Unlike McCoy, Wilson isn’t a “lock” to go to USC (laughs quietly to myself). He does really like USC, Washington and UCLA, but Texas has just as good of a shot as any of those schools. Wilson named Texas in his final five without ever stepping foot on campus, he plans to unofficially visit in the spring and return for an official visit in the fall. He also has close relationship with Drew Mehringer, who is doing a fantastic job early on. I like UT’s chances.

— If Wilson is McCoy, then it’s not hard to liken five-star linebacker Sav'ell Smalls to De'Gabriel Floyd. This is a guy that commands respect from his teammates, has a big personality and can make a huge impact for whichever school he lands at. The Crystal Ball picks for Smalls are all over the map right now as they should be. I didn’t come away thinking there was one or even two teams to beat for Smalls. The fact of the matter is Smalls is wide open in his recruitment, and distance isn’t really going to be a factor for him.

— Both Todd Orlando and Bryan Carrington have done a fantastic job of recruiting Smalls so far. While he hasn’t been to campus just yet, Smalls is planning to make an unofficial visit in the spring and return for an official visit down the line. His interest in Texas is very legitimate as he spoke highly of the program’s tradition and national presence on the recruiting trail. For Texas, it’s all about making sure he gets to campus in the near future.

— Five-star California linebacker Justin Flowe was not at the event, but I did speak to a source very familiar with his recruitment. The source told me that the Texas buzz around Flowe’s recruitment is very real. In fact, the source said it wouldn’t be farfetched to say that the Longhorns have a slight edge for him. However, Flowe has yet to visit campus, which is why I’ve been hesitant with him. If he does make it to Austin soon, watch out.

— We’ve talked about the connections five-star cornerback Kelee Ringo has to the Texas program. In case you need a refresher, UT-ex Bryan Westbrook is his high school position coach, and Texas offensive coordinator Tim Beck was the former head coach at his high school. Beck, Tom Herman, Jason Washington and Bryan Carrington have all made Ringo a priority, and Texas is the only school that has hosted him twice in the last year. Ringo loves the program overall and feels comfortable in Austin. He will be getting back to Texas before the end of spring.

— I do have a Crystal Ball pick in for Ringo to Texas. So what’s my confidence level on that? Well, I do like the fact that Ringo has been on campus on multiple occasions and that the staff has some really good ties in his recruitment. But I think Ringo’s process is going to be a long one. Oklahoma is becoming a bigger threat by the day, and he will also see Norman very soon. Ringo is originally from Washington, so the University of Washington will always be a threat. Ringo also likes schools like Georgia, Alabama, UCLA and Ohio State.

— Five-star tight end Darnell Washington is completely in his recruitment. In fact, there are no Crystal Ball predictions in for him at this time. Texas has piqued Washington’s interest thanks to its Sugar Bowl win over Georgia and success recruiting out West. Washington was honest and said he doesn’t know too much about the program, but he does want to make an unofficial visit this spring and added that a return official visit is very much a possibility.

— Four-star running back Sam Adams II may be a Texas A&M legacy, but there is definitely no ill will towards Texas. Adams really wanted an offer from the Longhorns and was happy when it came. He hopes to visit this offseason, and he is keeping in touch with Stan Drayton. Adams’ father is originally from the Lone Star State, and Adams said he would love to play his college ball down south.

— Four-star tight end D.J. Rogers had some really insightful comments about Texas. He is looking forward to visiting this spring and actually keeps in regular contact with Derek Warehime. Rogers is an extremely smart kid with a high GPA, and he has done research on UT’s academics, which caught his attention. (Holland)

**

— The Longhorns already have a strong foundation for their 2020 class, and there’s more buzz surrounding the program from elite targets. Jake Majors mentioned a truly special offensive line class they could build if they landed Chad Lindberg and Dameion George. Majors is working hard behind the scenes to see that happen, and he feels the overall potential of the class could be the best in the Tom Herman era.

— Four-star Duncanville safety Chris Thompson gave indications that Texas holds the lead in his recruitment. Texas A&M was once thought of as a dangerous opponent, but the Aggies seem to be out of the race for Thompson at this point. Craig Naivarhas been on Thompson since Texas offered him last year. LSU will be a threat, and Stanford could enter the picture, but Texas is taking advantage of the opening right now.

— Duncanville athlete Ja'Quinden Jackson wasn’t in attendance during the Under Armour camp, but I spoke with numerous sources that indicated that Texas is in a good spot. Jackson is slowing down his process after previously considering a summer decision, and he wants to get out and see some of the other schools recruiting him. If Texas stays the course with him, they should be able to reel him in, but there’s a chance a program like LSU could catch his eye.

— Four-star Highland Park defensive end Prince Dorbah also named Texas as one of the leaders in his recruitment, and he said that the Longhorns are recruiting him the hardest right now. Dorbah lost weight during the basketball season, and he showed up to Under Armour at 210 pounds. Dorbah is still planning to stretch things out, but Oscar Giles made an early connection with him, and it is paying off right now. Oklahoma seems to be the biggest threat at the moment, but Texas provides the schematic fit for Dorbah to rush the passer from the “B-backer” position.

— Fort Worth All Saints offensive tackle Tommy Brockermeyer is set on blazing his own trail apart from his father, but it’s clear that Texas holds a special place for him. Brockermeyer already has a brother on campus, and it’s no secret that his parents are fans of the program. Brockermeyer plans to take some time with the process, and he’d like to make several visits. Sources near the recruitment tell us that Texas should be the odds-on favorite at this point, but it’s not a slam-dunk.

— Duncanville offensive lineman Savion Byrd admitted he was overwhelmed with the recruiting process, and it’s not likely that things get easier for him. Byrd showed elite traits during the UA camp, and he’s only going to garner more attention going forward. He really hasn’t distinguished any leaders in his recruitment, but Texas is doing a good job with Duncanville prospects with Ra’Shaad Samples on staff. If the Longhorns land Chris Thompson and Ja’Quinden Jackson, it will only help their pursuit of Byrd.

— Aledo wide receiver JoJo Earle has been pretty quiet about his recruitment, but I’m told Texas is opening up a big lead. The Longhorns jumped on Earle pretty early, and they’ve continued to recruit him hard. Earle loves his fit in the Texas offense, and he grew up a fan of the program.

— Little Elm cornerback Ryan Watts is one of the most wanted men in the state right now. Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma are all recruiting him extremely hard. One source indicated to me that Texas did a great job when they got him on campus for junior day, but Oklahoma was going to pose tough competition for his services. One key to this recruitment could be Arlington High athlete Jahari Rogers. The two are close, and they are considering a few of the same schools. If one commits sooner than the other, it could sway the others recruitment.

— Rogers is keeping his cards close to the vest, but the word is that LSU, Texas and Oklahoma are the three at the top of his list right now with Florida pushing its way in as well. Rogers is an Oklahoma legacy and a Louisiana native. I’m told he grew up an Oklahoma fan, but he made no secret about desiring a Texas offer during his recruitment. The Longhorns will have to work in this one, but they do have a chance.

— Texas offered Bishop Dunne linebacker Brennon Scott later than most schools, but Todd Orlando is doing a great job showing Scott how he fits in the defense. Scott is still fairly open, and he’s not tipping his hand to anyone around his recruitment. Texas will need to continue to push for him to visit campus and show how his versatility can be a weapon in the Big 12.

— The Longhorns could have a great chance at landing Tulsa-area prospects Myles Slusher and Javian Hester. The hang up is that they would like to play with Tulsa Edison running back Sevion Morrison. The trio are dead-set on playing together, and the word is now that they aren’t coming off of those demands. Packaged deals fall apart all the time in recruiting, but I’m not sure Slusher and Hester end up in Austin without Morrison.

— Carthage ATH Kelvontay Dixon and West Mesquite running back Ty Jordan both own Texas offers, and it’s fair to say that the Longhorns are in good positions to land them. The question is, will Texas push hard for both? The staff is working with limited numbers in this class, and they might have to make some tough decisions when it comes time. I expect Jeff Traylorand Arkansas to push for Dixon and force Texas’s hand on the matter.

— It’s very early in their recruitments, but Drew Mehringer made a big impression on 2021 Allen wide receivers Bryson Green and Blaine Green. Both prospects were offered when Mehringer attended their high school basketball game and extended it afterwards. Both prospects visited Austin last summer for camp, and they expect to be back during the spring. (Roach)

Roach put in a Texas pick for Alford.

I changed my crystal ball for Shadow Creek safety Xavion Alford to foggy a few weeks ago, and I went ahead and put it on Texas after talking to some sources over the weekend. Alford was part of the Fast 7v7 crew who came down this weekend for a return visit (Joshua Eaton and Bryson Washington were also along). I kind of always worried about Texas A&M in this recruitment, but I think they are running third at best right now behind Texas and LSU. I'm told that the Longhorns have perfectly pitched Alford on the program and educational opportunities at his disposal in Austin. By the way, I already had my crystal ball on Texas for Bryson Washington, and I feel even better about it talking to sources after his visit. Oklahoma is still going to pose a threat, but Texas is starting to dig themselves in pretty deep with him.

His twitter is very OU friendly

I'm still a little miffed that Ricky Williams couldn't even break 100 yards against Oklahoma State in 1998. I know that they schemed against him, but still. Not a Heisman-worthy performance. Of course, they did give up over 400 yards passing to a guy who couldn't even beat out Chris Simms.

Let’s not forget that Ricky went 25 carries for a total of 43 yards against KSU in 1998.  KSU was much a much better team than us.  Every great running back will be contained when properly schemes against.

So I unless I missed something, everyone's forgotten about the two alleged commits this weekend based on Fast 7s tweets late last week? That wasn't really a thing, apparently?

The sources of that buzz were Ro and EJ. I’m not sure I could think of two less credible sources for just about anything.

I mean, I don't, just making sure I didn't miss anything. And considering all the theory crafting that took place last week, my post was more of an expression of surprise that I didn't see 50 "So where the fuck are our commits" posts over the weekend.

BC is our One True Follow.  Ro and EJ and all others are false prophets.
